Two things 1 Kraven’s voice is kind of terrifying and 2 I love how you use the soundtracks from Spider-Man The Animated Series and the Sam Raimi movies.

Well executed on the motion comic aspect. Never read this story (will read it soon) but seeing this makes me not only realize how good a Spider-Man story can be, but also bring back that kid inside of me that loved watching Spider-Man TAS every Saturday morning. The editing and the pacing if fantastic! The voice actor who did Kraven made me enjoy the story even more! My only gripe is that the voice actor for Spider-man ruins the moment for me.
The voice acting is amazing, the pace couldn't fit more the story and overall well constructed. This story has a soul. I really felt heartwarmed by Perer and MJ. Well done. I found it quite motivational.

Since the Beginning I knew this video would be UNIQUE! Every voice actor performance was perfect according to the character, especially Kraven. I could really feel every emotion until the end. Marvel had always planned to reveal it as a symbiote and get rid of it as a suit for Peter in less than a year (because they suspected the majority of readers would hate it), but they later admitted that if they had known how popular it would be they wouldn't have rushed the symbiote reveal and had Peter keep the suit longer. The popularity of the b&w suit has little to do with Venom - even after Peter got rid of the symbiote (and before Venom appeared), the readers still loved the suit so they brought it back - Peter would sometimes wear the red and blue suit, and other times wear the b&w suit. A lot of Venom's original popularity was because of the b&w suit's popularity.
Gotta say, when I first saw the comicbook cover for this when I was 8, I thought that the Black Suit made Spiderman a zombie...Lol (Little did I know that it was already a thing O:)

A villain decides to kill Spidey, takes his place, fights his villains to prove that he's better than Spidey, and even says in this story that he wants to prove himself "superior" to Spidey. Then Spidey comes "back to life", defeats the villain, and takes back his life. Slott basically ripped off Kraven's Last Hunt to make Superior SM. And it's sad, because in his 10 year-run on ASM, Superior is probably his only good story.
All of Dan Slott's big hits are rip-off. Hi, can you tell me where did you found the Spider-Man TAS soundtracks? Such a spectacular soundtrack but other than some tracks, less than 10, the soundtrack didn't get released.
They should really release the soundtrack. This is the third time I've been asked that. That just shows you how great it is! I found about 15 min worth of it online that came out as a promo. You can find it here on TH-cam. But some track were not available on that, so I own the R2 DVD's and extracted the audio from certain episodes and removed vocals. You can do a search on how to do that. It still does not sound clear and crisp, it sounds garbled. But when mixed with the vocals and effects on these videos then it doesn't sound as bad.

His natural abilities, but he was the first to recognize that Spider-Man's powers were not all science and were in fact part mystic - which we the audience don't figure out until Ezekiel and Morlun. But the jungle potions he drinks do give him heightened abilities beyond human.

He never thought that Spidey's powers came from science - he knew that his powers came from the man (i.e. the powers weren't artificial, they didn't come from the suit, etc). He never thought that his powers were "mystical". Spidey's powers being mystical wasn't introduced until JMS introduced Ezekiel, and Kraven was long dead by that point.

The only thing similar to what you're talking about is that Kraven keeps talking about "the spider" as some mythical thing that is haunting him. But it's more about an abstract force that has ruined his and his parents' lives. It has nothing to do with Spidey's powers. He says more than once that he realizes that Spider-Man is just a man, "a good man". And like "the spider" that has haunted his family's lives, that he has been Spider-Man's "spider". I think you might need to take your own advice and reread this story. :)

Yeah. I don't know why they did with Kraven what they did in the 90's TAS. That was not comic book Kraven. Also not sure if they could have done his death with the strict censorship rules from that show. Chances are they would have thrown Kraven into a Time Dilation portal instead of killing him. lol.
WarZone_Z at the time in comics spidey kept a black suit made of cloth after the symbiote was "defeated" for night missions and stuff. It was a popular suit. Bet when venom came (after this story) and terrorized MJ spidey got rid of the black suit.
This was actually released in single issues of Web, Amazing and Spectacular, over 2 months. So when Spidey died at the end of the first Web issue, I remember waiting for Amazing and Spec to come out over the next 3 weeks, trying to figure out if Spidey was actually dead and how he was going to come back. It reads great as a trade paperback, but reading it as it came out over 2 months was a much better experience.

The original comic says "Czar" in the panel. No idea why he changed this to "Kaiser" when creating this video, as it makes no sense to change it. Kraven is a Russian who loves Africa. He has nothing to do with Germany.

Spidey and Cap recognized that Vermin was just a normal guy who had been experimented on by Baron Zemo and turned into Vermin. They fought him, but they tried not to hurt him because they knew he was a victim. Kraven didn't care about that. He just brutally attacked Vermin without caring if he hurt him or not. It's been well established that Spidey usually pulls his punches when fighting villains, otherwise he could kill most people that don't have invulnerability/armor with just one punch.
@@jonathanthwipstudios355 JM Dematteis wrote that Team Up issue, so it makes sense that he would reference that Spidey/Cap/Vermin fight. He seemed to really like Vermin, since he kept bringing him back in his Spidey run.

He needed to defeat him, replace him, and do something that Spidey had been unable to do himself. That was defeating Vermin. Without Vermin, or reducing his part in the story so that he only shows up when Spidey-Kraven goes out into the city and randomly runs into Vermin would lessen the story. *Especially* since the last chapter of this story has to be Spidey defeating Vermin on his own after he had "defeated" Kraven.
Keep it up man. Kraven's last hunt is truly the darkest and grittiest Spider-man story ever told.

The only thing similar to what you're talking about is that Kraven keeps talking about "the spider" as some mythical thing that is haunting him. But it's more about an abstract force that has ruined his and his parents' lives. It has nothing to do with Spidey's powers.
He says more than once that he realizes that Spider-Man is just a man, "a good man". And like "the spider" that has haunted his family's lives, that he has been Spider-Man's "spider".
I think you might need to take your own advice and reread this story. :)

Does anyone else feel like this could have been added into the original Spider-Man the animated series cartoon I mean I know it's dark but they could have changed some things probably to make it suitable for TV
Yeah. I don't know why they did with Kraven what they did in the 90's TAS. That was not comic book Kraven. Also not sure if they could have done his death with the strict censorship rules from that show. Chances are they would have thrown Kraven into a Time Dilation portal instead of killing him. lol.
Why does Peter have the black suit?
WarZone_Z at the time in comics spidey kept a black suit made of cloth after the symbiote was "defeated" for night missions and stuff. It was a popular suit. Bet when venom came (after this story) and terrorized MJ spidey got rid of the black suit.

This was actually released in single issues of Web, Amazing and Spectacular, over 2 months. So when Spidey died at the end of the first Web issue, I remember waiting for Amazing and Spec to come out over the next 3 weeks, trying to figure out if Spidey was actually dead and how he was going to come back.
It reads great as a trade paperback, but reading it as it came out over 2 months was a much better experience.
I want to see Animated Spider-Man: Kraven’s last hunt movie and I think it should be Rated R?

@@komickid833 Until Marvel brought him back to life for no reason and then did nothing worthwhile with him. Nick Spencer addressed it a couple of years ago and rightfully killed Kraven off.

Kaiser is German, the Czar is Russian.
The original comic says "Czar" in the panel. No idea why he changed this to "Kaiser" when creating this video, as it makes no sense to change it. Kraven is a Russian who loves Africa. He has nothing to do with Germany.

LOL. Yeah its one of those things where they needed an excuse for a team up in Marvel Team Up that would not affect continuity so they picked a D list villain and wrote it that way. Go figure...
Spidey and Cap recognized that Vermin was just a normal guy who had been experimented on by Baron Zemo and turned into Vermin. They fought him, but they tried not to hurt him because they knew he was a victim.
Kraven didn't care about that. He just brutally attacked Vermin without caring if he hurt him or not.
It's been well established that Spidey usually pulls his punches when fighting villains, otherwise he could kill most people that don't have invulnerability/armor with just one punch.
@@jonathanthwipstudios355 JM Dematteis wrote that Team Up issue, so it makes sense that he would reference that Spidey/Cap/Vermin fight.
He seemed to really like Vermin, since he kept bringing him back in his Spidey run.

@@jonathanthwipstudios355 But the whole point of the story is that Kraven needed to prove himself superior to Spider-Man. He needed to defeat him, replace him, and do something that Spidey had been unable to do himself. That was defeating Vermin. Without Vermin, or reducing his part in the story so that he only shows up when Spidey-Kraven goes out into the city and randomly runs into Vermin would lessen the story. *Especially* since the last chapter of this story has to be Spidey defeating Vermin on his own after he had "defeated" Kraven.
