Over the last 20 months, I have lost almost 100lbs by eating in a deficit and doing some exercise at home. I started with just dumbbells and a punching bag, then my sister sent me a bench press and barbell set. My quality of life has improved beyond belief. I only have about 20lbs to go before I'm at my first target and then I can reassess. And the thing is, I didn't give up things I like. I have never and will never remove the skin from my chicken or the fat from my meat. I don't eat dry rice and broccoli. I even now and then have a chocolate or a McDonalds, and a cold beer with the rugby. It can be done, you just have to decide to unfuck yourself.
Great work, don't know why so many people don't understand this concept. You don't have to eat perfectly, and track 100% of everything you eat. Just eat less than you used to, and do some exercise.
Well done! Just make sure you are constantly adjusting your calorie intake based on your lower weight. Your calorie expenditure changes as the kilos come off 😊
Isaac made a great point about the consistency of these terrible eating habits. People don’t get this big by having a day or two of indulgence, I know I’ve had my share of overeating over the holidays. It’s the day-in day-out adherence to consuming the food stockpiles of a small developing nation that gets you there.

I have the opposite problem where I struggle to get enough daily calories, my "what I eat in a day" looks like: - When I wake up I eat a package of fruit snacks which is 70 cals. - For lunch I have a sandwich with equals to 185 cals. - For dinner I have two egg rolls which is 300 cals. - Then for desert I'll eat one fun size candy bar which is under 100 cals. That equals up to under 700 calories which is significantly less than what I need, but it feels like I eat so much already and to think of eating THAT much is inconceivable.

I sometimes eat up to 3400 calories a day. But then again I am a 6 1 man that does heavy labor daily. Most days I am lucky to eat 1500. 10k is just a insane amount of food.

I understand your perspective. I did feel bad about my physical appearance. It alone wasn’t enough for me to make lasting changes. One thing people don’t talk about much is the aftermath. I still didn’t like my body after losing 120lbs. My skin didn’t just snap back. I did a lot of damage to my body. I am fortunate enough to be able to have cosmetic surgery to put things back where they belong lol.
At 72 I lost 50# over 4 months and ended up with the saggy, baggy elephant skin. Getting cosmetic surgery for me would be like trying to put a new cover on an old copy of Reader's Digest.
10,000 calories a daily would be insane. The Rock was eating like 4100 Calories for the Fast & Furious film, to fuel his workout routine, and bruv was massive. They all lived together and shared everything (except food) because the guys were freakishly skinny but always brought her food. They did tag teams whilst she was in hospital. Yes they did all share a bedroom and not only a bedroom at home.

You've got to look out for these large characters when they don't get enough burgers and cakes. They can become dangerous. Some of these rotund, blob shaped individuals go rampaging through the city, eating anything in sight, if they don't get enough to eat. At that point one must call the wildlife authorities and get a professional down there to tranquillise and transport said rampaging individual to a more suitable habitat.

I do have to say the best place to eat is in I think Epcot - Under the Sea restaurant - lovely sit down restaurant where you can fine dine will watching their huge aquarium. If you’re lucky you can have a table right next the aquarium. The food is phenomenal - of course it’s extremely well prepared seafood. It’s an expensive restaurant but well worth it.

After going to the doctors two weeks ago and found out I was back up to 87Kg for context I am 5,2. I have started walking 10,000 steps a day and combining this with weight training four days a week and a calorie deficit and the best I have ever felt. I have limited the amount of fast food from multiple times a week to once a fortnight and I haven't had a sip of alcohol for the past 3 weeks. This has really helped my mental health in various ways as well as my physical health and my sleep (that's coming from someone with ADHD). So people can lose weight if they have the mindset and dedication to do so. There is no such thing as MAKING EXCUSES.
You must be very light weight or you don`t move at all. I do a 10km walk each morning and im roughly 69kg/175 cm and i need 2800 calories just to maintain that weight:)
Same for me, I do exercise a lot eat quite healthy as I do not like sweets, just meat, fish, veggies and salami, I know not healthy. That diet helps me lose weight. I tried the calorie counting diet and couldn't eat more than 800, max 1500/day and was gaining weight!
@@radka747 Sounds like it is working for you. I used walking and a low calorie diet around 1500 a day to lose weight. It works really well when you are 1000 or less calories per day that you need to maintain weight. What i learned in the process was funny though. Being below will burn mass from your body, not just fat. It burned off all my muscels aswell. We need thoose calories to maintain and create new muscels. So next on the agenda is to create some new ones. Glad you found something that works for you:)
@@Quinna78 I do get that I should eat those 1400 calories a day but I just couldn't eat that much in a day. Days that I didn't exercise maybe but days when I go to gym for 2 or 3 hrs I just needed a good breakfast, after exercise I am not hungry for about 2 hrs and then something light and was full. The protein diet worked for me throughout my life. I do not care for bread or sweets but I do love pizza and pasta so I though I will try the calories counting:) Well I had my pizza and pasta so back to meat:) Thanks for replying

Glad to hear its working great for you. When it comes to exersize i think the most important part is to find something that you like. Its better that you like/love something you do every day for the rest of your life:). Im gonna try to start running insted of walking. Burn more calories while spending less time in the track. Seems like its perfect for me:)

Some of these rotund, blob shaped individuals go rampaging through the city, eating anything in sight, if they don't get enough to eat.
At that point one must call the wildlife authorities and get a professional down there to tranquillise and transport said rampaging individual to a more suitable habitat.

I do have to say the best place to eat is in I think Epcot - Under the Sea restaurant - lovely sit down restaurant where you can fine dine will watching their huge aquarium. If you’re lucky you can have a table right next the aquarium. The food is phenomenal - of course it’s extremely well prepared seafood. It’s an expensive restaurant but well worth it.

After going to the doctors two weeks ago and found out I was back up to 87Kg for context I am 5,2. I have started walking 10,000 steps a day and combining this with weight training four days a week and a calorie deficit and the best I have ever felt.
I have limited the amount of fast food from multiple times a week to once a fortnight and I haven't had a sip of alcohol for the past 3 weeks. This has really helped my mental health in various ways as well as my physical health and my sleep (that's coming from someone with ADHD). So people can lose weight if they have the mindset and dedication to do so. There is no such thing as MAKING EXCUSES.
If I look at 1500 calories I gain 2 lbs!
You must be very light weight or you don`t move at all. I do a 10km walk each morning and im roughly 69kg/175 cm and i need 2800 calories just to maintain that weight:)
Same for me, I do exercise a lot eat quite healthy as I do not like sweets, just meat, fish, veggies and salami, I know not healthy. That diet helps me lose weight. I tried the calorie counting diet and couldn't eat more than 800, max 1500/day and was gaining weight!
@@radka747 Sounds like it is working for you. I used walking and a low calorie diet around 1500 a day to lose weight. It works really well when you are 1000 or less calories per day that you need to maintain weight. What i learned in the process was funny though. Being below will burn mass from your body, not just fat. It burned off all my muscels aswell. We need thoose calories to maintain and create new muscels. So next on the agenda is to create some new ones. Glad you found something that works for you:)
@@Quinna78 I do get that I should eat those 1400 calories a day but I just couldn't eat that much in a day. Days that I didn't exercise maybe but days when I go to gym for 2 or 3 hrs I just needed a good breakfast, after exercise I am not hungry for about 2 hrs and then something light and was full. The protein diet worked for me throughout my life. I do not care for bread or sweets but I do love pizza and pasta so I though I will try the calories counting:) Well I had my pizza and pasta so back to meat:) Thanks for replying
@@radka747 I need to research protein. I have been told its important for muscels. When i started my diet journey i only learned about calories. Diet and muscels are so much more. Glad to hear its working great for you. When it comes to exersize i think the most important part is to find something that you like. Its better that you like/love something you do every day for the rest of your life:). Im gonna try to start running insted of walking. Burn more calories while spending less time in the track. Seems like its perfect for me:)

I own a business and I hardly ever touch breakfast and my wife eats a normal breakfast (she exercises, skinny, & a lot fitter than me). Me I don't exercise (goin to eventually). I mainly eat small amounts during the day and a normal dinner. My wife doesn't want me to get fat. I don't want to either.
