I had a difficult time deciding witch of the two, I finally decided on the sidekick because of the forest areas, I haven't regreted my choice..... Great Vid!
I picked the sidekick for backpacking with occasional bushcraft elements. In my country it is required by law to dig a hole if you start a fire AND how deep it should be, so i need a shovel anyways. i bring the sidekick with me to process wood.
Great video, thank you. Personally I think that I will buy the sidekick, because a wood blade is more useful than a blister opener for me and I prefer a straight blade.
The main blade isn't an issue with actual use and has come in handy a few times. My only injury from any multitool is with a saw on a Victorinox and since then don't really like having them on anything. Love having the scissors there along with the spring-loaded pliers. The package opener was kind of a disappointment.
Either take off the saw on the Sidekick and give it the scissors from the Wingman or take the mini serrated blade and give it scissors like the Wave's. Either way the Sidekick has the better blade.
@@ToolsElectroDIY its honestly a tough one because I actually really like the saw and the serrated blade, but I personally use scissors so much more than a saw. Then again there's already a blade so I wouldn't necessarily NEED the serrated blade. It would be so perfect if it had just one more spot for some scissors lol
The scissors work fine, but you are not using them correctly. You need to lock the scissors in place for the spring to be fixed. Pull the spring forward, push the scissors back until they click.

@@ToolsElectroDIY To the point that it help me to upgraded my self with the Sidekick one.
@toxictrace6775 what did you use?
@@ToolsElectroDIY Skeletool.
If only there was a mix of the two as I dislike a partially serrated blade. I did get the Wingman despite that.
Thanks for sharing your experience!

Wingman is better for me. I wish it had the blade of the sidekick though
thanks for sharing your opinion on this
WRONG. NOT THE ONLY DIFFERENCE.
WINGMANS MAIN BLADE IS PARTIALLY SERRATED AN THE SIDEKICKS ISNT.
EPIC FAIL GEEEwN.
Thanks for pointing that out.
