This is such a heartbreaking story. I don't blame any of the main characters for their reactions. This story was not a fair life for any of them.

For those who are asking, the name of the movie is called Lady Chatterley’s Lover and it was based on a book with the same name. At the time it was published privately in 1928 because it was considered scandalous and kinda X-rated at the time. There’s been different movie versions of this and I’ve seen a few of them and they are all like this movie if you watched it in its entirety. Just a warning: It shows a lot of sex scenes, naked scenes. 😂

Well, I liked the ending. The lovers didn't get torn apart or die. They belonged together and found each other again against all odds. You don't need riches to be happy.

Joely Richardson who plays Mrs. Bolton in this movie played the main character i.e. Lady Chatterley in the 1993 TV mini-series (Lady Chatterley's Lover). Sean Bean played Mellors in that version. Nice touch having her in this movie as well.

So, did everyone working on this movie fail biology class? A male can have a weak or paralyzed lower body and still have a functional reproductive organ. They are 2 separate systems, run by different controls. Unless his injury affected both systems, he would have still been able to "stand at attention" and make a baby.
