(It’s a large military cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.) As I drove in, this song came on the radio, and it felt like him finding a way to reach out to me. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him.

Besides being a kick ass eternally cool song, an absolutely inspirational video! The aged hero, remembering his glory days, reduced to frailty by the passage of time, neglected, alone, living in poverty. Every time I listen to this I am pulled back to year 2000, all the images of my life from that time spinning through my head. Songs are the one thing that can take us back in time and I love it!
I will never never never get tired of this song, or this group for that matter! And the lead singer wasn't even supposed to be the lead in the very beginning of their formation... So glad he is!! 👻

If I'm alive and well, will you be there a-holding my hand? I'll keep you by my side With my superhuman might Kryptonite You called me strong, you called me weak, But still your secrets I will keep You took for granted all the times I never let you down You stumbled in and bumped your head, If not for me then you'd be dead I picked you up and put you back on solid ground If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman? +Undead Nightorc Too bad that in retrospective the actual amount of time you spent studying for nothing was actually more than half of your real life .
I have listened to this song every year and I will listen to it every year till I get to the end, it just makes me appreciate life even though it sounds sounds a little stupid it helps me get through and reminds me that one day I will be old looking back on everything I did and it makes me want to do more with my life because one day we will all look back when we are 60 and remember this song and let ok back at our lives and think about what we’ve done and everyone else around us, I guess I’m just depressed and looking twords the next chapter of my life but I hope that someone sees this and I will do what they want in life without judgement from other people because it’s a learning experience till the end in life and people should do what they want with the time they have left

ok, for those of you balking at the fact that they aren't as popular as you want them to be, the genre is called Alternative Rock for a reason. Pop music overcorrected in employing rap over the last 10 years, but Alternative Rock had the overall consensus of maintaining their then numbers, wanting to maintain a sense of alternative as the name implies, something you had to look for almost, a joy to find. The term "Sellout" has actual meaning among artistic bands for a legitimate reasons
I am glad I could experience such good music in my childhood. 3doorsdown and especially this song makes me feel nostalgic for a time that just felt simpler
This makes me think of when I was younger... And now that I'm not so young and I was crying over some fool that didn't know what he had and my dad would ... And does hug me as if I were still 5 years old . To bring me to that memory is something special . You got a new fan❤️❤️❤️
Life has showed me some of the darkest times recently and I be finding myself playing this over and over, sometimes I sing along, sometimes I sit and listen. Thanks 3DD appreciate yall getting me through these times. 💯
IMO this is not a good song for that. To me it reminds me of all the people I selfless helped, aka my friends who when I just needed a sounding board turn their backs. That still blows me away.
Hang in there buddy!!!! I know exactly what u mean i start listening to David Bowie and my spirit has positively changed I want to LIVE!!! With enthusiasm.... 🥂

"you call me strong, you call me weak, but still your secrets i will keep. you took for granted all the times i never let you down" favorite lyrics ever
For me, this song is a bittersweet memory: it always takes me back to being a young teenager, watching my grampie fade away with Louis body dementia, and my grammie, steadfast by his side, with unwavering love. They taught me so much about love and life; 20 plus years later and I still think of them everyday.
Your lucky you were there to experience the love they had for each other. You won't get it anywhere else today.. People today have Lost so many traits that is old schoolers were taught. It's a damn shame. You can't even get a young person to get up for a handicapped person on the bus anymore. It's really sad to see..
I remember installing a new radio in my car and struggling at the process. This song came on that radio when i finally finished... and i remember it always sounded so clear and well produced through my speakers. Every time it played that year, it was like a victory song for that radio install. Every time, I smiled :)
I listen to this several times every month. For years!!!!!! Probably before some of you were even born!!! God bless you if you like this song or listen to it!! One of the best!!!!!!
Rip man, sorry for your loss. Dude has a good taste in music. I remember me and my dad listening to this song while lost on a road trip to Oregon at like 3am. Before google maps lol
My father who passed away years and years ago used to listen to this song on his radio in the backyard from a little shed he made himself that had a campfire outside. Those times of my life are so far away from me now but this song really feels like i can be a little closer to him even if just for a bit.
What i love about the Video is that its shows that how ever what ever happend to a Human with a Good heart or a Fighter he always has a good heart and fire in his Heart and Soul even ive he is old it doesn't matter.

Just trust that you will see them again
much love to you
This is a song that I will share on my son's birthday and angelversary.
I used to sing this to my wife.
“If I’m so crazy then why do you call me Superman?”
She still thinks I’m Superman, 26 years later.
jromely How does she still think you're "still" superman if this song isn't even 26 years old?
@@jutton11 Hmm...I'm pulling the "false" card here.
You better hope I don’t sing this song to her buddy.
26 years.....song released in 2009....cool story brah….
@@aola169 Put on youtube 2009* not released. It was released in 2000
I frigging love this song! It really hits hard when you're going through some shit in your life and it kinda helps you to build yourself character and regain your own subconscious strength and mentality
Makes me think of some people that I've helped and they've kind of forgot it. It's cool though it's cool
@@michaeldentinger2069 kind of lack of gratitude and appreciation but then again we can ditch them
83 here. And I can't agree more. Old school Korn and limp Bizkit? There's nothing better. And I know the guys from 3 doors down. They're from my town.
I miss this kind of music...
Excellent song ♡
Me to music isnt real music anymre
Every time I listen to this I am pulled back to year 2000, all the images of my life from that time spinning through my head. Songs are the one thing that can take us back in time and I love it!
I feel that ❤
I love that too. I can't sing for the life of me but bring on an oldie but goodie song and I have no trouble trying.
True, music is a time capsule.
My theme song in 2000. Rocking but vulnerable
@nanotis1624 good on you. I do the same because the chorus going into the word kryptonite is a fun struggle
This song is easily one of the greatest ever. Kept me alive when I was abandoned, now it has a new meaning to me now that I have 4 amazing kids
A telling and true witness. We have to give give give. Everyone is not always safe. ❤️
I miss my son Cameron so much he’s always in my heart and never far from my thoughts ❤😊
I will never never never get tired of this song, or this group for that matter! And the lead singer wasn't even supposed to be the lead in the very beginning of their formation... So glad he is!! 👻
Haven't listened to this song in years. Randomly woke up with the lyrics in my head so here I am once again. Listening this this great song.

LYRICS:
Well, I took a walk around the world
To ease my troubled mind
I left my body lying somewhere
In the sands of time
But I watched the world float to the dark side of the moon
I feel there is nothing I can do
I watched the world float to the dark side of the moon
After all I knew it had to be something to do with you
I really don't mind what happens now and then
As long as you'll be my friend at the end
If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?
If I'm alive and well, will you be there a-holding my hand?
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite
You called me strong, you called me weak,
But still your secrets I will keep
You took for granted all the times
I never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head,
If not for me then you'd be dead
I picked you up and put you back on solid ground
If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?
If I'm alive and well, will you be there a-holding my hand?
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite
If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?
If I'm alive and well, will you be there holding my hand?
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite
If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?
If I'm alive and well, will you be there a-holding my hand?
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might

If you are hearing this, you have an amazing taste in music. Hats off to you.

The time that even without social media but you have been comfortable in life,
through listening of this kinds of genre.
not me... its hard without social media as you can't keep up with the friendships you've made. Its either you lost them or forget them.
I would start with the 60s!
ok, for those of you balking at the fact that they aren't as popular as you want them to be, the genre is called Alternative Rock for a reason.

Love this song
For me, this song is a bittersweet memory: it always takes me back to being a young teenager, watching my grampie fade away with Louis body dementia, and my grammie, steadfast by his side, with unwavering love. They taught me so much about love and life; 20 plus years later and I still think of them everyday.
Your lucky you were there to experience the love they had for each other. You won't get it anywhere else today.. People today have Lost so many traits that is old schoolers were taught. It's a damn shame. You can't even get a young person to get up for a handicapped person on the bus anymore. It's really sad to see..
I here that 🌹

I love alternative music, I miss alternative was on the mainstream station and not just pop music.
Theres a local radio station that claims alternative but its really a repeat of songs or whatever pop songs the others dont play
IT's called Rock n Roll.
This is NOT alternative rock. The 90s alternative rock was horrible. This is post-grunge (same as Nickelback). It was as mainstream as can be.
