Ok so I have a body control module UCH in my van which I think is faulty. My van is a vivaro 2004. So I have a used one from Ebay which needs coding and after a quick search a forum thread two people spoke about 93c66. Presuming this to be the chip. I recognised that number. Can Autel extract the data from it? Close magnifying of the board I cant read that number on any though. What to do mate?
Does the tool you used in the video have the ability to reprogram the VIN number/mileage on to a new ECM via the Eprom adapter? Also, I noticed in the video you were programming what you referred to as an IS300 ECM however the 1mzfe is the Es300, I only bring this up because you selected IS300 on the tool for your video but then installed the ECM on an ES300 and it was programmed, how did that work?
Hy Mike long time, Hope you ok. Mike when using old ECU do you have to verginz the old ECU before you write the old ECU IMMO data or you can just read old IMMO data and write it to a used ecu? Hope you understand.
I saw u had a video on a sequoia all keys lost that was also 4c and u did a reset with the autopro pad can u not do the same or is it just cuz it’s a different immo system

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE Tried this same exact procedure on the 2000 lexus gs300. Car starts right up however the immobilizer light stays flashing even if the car is on. Other than that the car has been starting up with no issues.
@mechaniac9194 it’s just telling you that it needs a second key programmed .. so in order for that light to turn off must program a second key to the vehicle
I just purchased the Autel IM508 and am going to the local Pick a Part to pull some ECUs and practice. I noticed on another video with a Sequoia, you had to pull the chip off the board to eeprom it. Is the Sequoia the only one you have to do that or are there others?

Good question. So in an all keys lost situation if you dont initialize de eeprom you wont be able to program any keys? Does the initialazation modify (verginizes) the eeprom data? What about a simple bridge between pin 4 and 13 of the OBD2 connector with switch on the ON position for 30 minutes would thta get the car running as well?
So why did the computer need to be reflashed? Is that a new ECM? Or did you just lose all the keys? and did you have to bring your own eeprom codes, or did the scan tool already know what to reflash it with? I'm trying to buy a new scan tool, and I don't know if I should buy the xtool pad3 or the xtool D8. They seem very similar.

I did a gs300 today and I was expecting to reignitalize the immo chip but the customer had the broke off key. I just popped in a super chip and cloned it and cut it from the passenger door code. And they were up and running.
Need to see video doing programming with xtool kc501 on the xtool pc software. Very little out there on the kc501 pc software as it is also a stand alone programmer.

Hi, I did a 2003 Toyota Highlander with all keys lost, I generated a key by cylinder door and I was able to program it without a master key.. I used my Ikey820 and I did the onboard programming, it worked. How is that even possible.
I was able to do the same on a 2003 Toyota Sequoia and a 2002 Toyota Camry I’ve noticed Toyota and Lexus even tho they are the same manufacturer Toyota is easier

Is it always best to desolder the chip off the board before connecting the clip to do eeprom reading. As doing some in circuit will corrupt the information on chip . Then it's useless a reading all f or 0.

Great content.... .Is it true that you can have current loss with clip in circuit ....or data collision if the power feeds to other circuits and starts them?. ie processor starts up...tries to communicate with eeprom while programmer tries? Also i read 93 family has erase command...and can if data collision triggers erase code its gone? Is it safer to do off board on these??
I remember with the early 4C system when using a program like Carprog to zero out preexisting immo values on the chip, you had to de-solder the chip and isolated it for those reasons.. I was surprised to see that the Autel was able to do it without Isolating it.. They must factor in all those things when they write the programmer software now.

Theres two chip type clips for toyota and lexus one is a ic dip socket 8pin microchip the other is a SOIC microchip 8 pin.. so u need two different clips

Mate you are hilarious you start the video saying about make sure that you don’t put it anywhere near anything that can conduct electricity but whilst you’re doing it you’re completely bare handed so that your skin conducting static electricity can damage the board. You have to be wearing an antistatic wristband and then if you really want gloves. But without an antistatic wristband you’re asking for problems.

Im afraid not ! You will need to read key data ,save file.. write key via dump and write back to chip!

What is flashing ecu? Wiping it!
