You can remove nitrates without water changes, with an Anoxic filteration.

@@rajadey4919 go for CeMedia's Marine Pure Blocks. These are essential in building Anaerobic bacteria and you never need to wash it.
What is the name of the green filter in the tank? Is that an internal canister filter?
