yeah it’s basically the same with different pacing (and more delicious plot! 🤤), I’d love for the animated episodes to serve to fill in the bits where the pace temporarily ramps up

If we're being candid, you guys got into trouble financially (with the GEEDUUUUUBS change in policy) at the perhaps last moment of economic stability in my adult life. I knew I was at the end of my rope, so I chose to simply pay a lump sum of the max I could donate and cover you for a year. I haven't recovered financially yet, and depression has been rearing its ugly head ever since. Yet, your work is, perhaps, one of the last things that can get me to drop everything and reserve time for each new installment of shenanigans, because you bring me joy like nothing else. I promise I'm trying to get a stable source of income again, and I assure you that, since my living conditions aren't threatened by any means (having inherited a country house and a patch of land to grow food on with free water is a colossal privilege), the minute I start earning money I'm coming back to your Patreon. @@massgunner4152 alfabusa does have a properly curated playlist of all the chapters and subchapters in chronological order for htp, and it is also pinned to the front page of the channel under the For You stuff lol
No joke, I recommended Norfolk Wizard Game as a podcast for my Grandma to listen to since she actually does like this story of stuff. This channel got me into W.O.D and got me into it hard. Where now I have studied a lot of the lore. By the way for anyone thinking SpeakerD was joking about the Hollow Earth thing in the video about World Of Darkness... he wasn't. That exists. It's in the lore... there's things accounting for World War 2 in the Lore. Whole-ass book for Wraith at that. Look it up, interesting read.
As long as the sub-chapters keep the smaller scale, personal vibe of the audio logs I'm all for it! While logs like the pub night and blender hunt had relatively little impact on the overall story, their role in fleshing out the characters and world make them so so so special. Keep up the absolutely amazing work guys! Love everything you make.
@@simpsondr12 Thats how "Boy" came into existence. As did Chapman. At a macro level it shows a bit of the problem with mixed media in general. Audiences that are too hyper focused in specific formats will often demand "their thing" get the most attention and value. Every niche demands all encompassing coverage of all important story beats, PLUS things which are exclusive to them. They then get mad when someone else gets the same treatment. But if you don't do those things, they won't feel special, and eventually fall off in favor of something that caters to them in exclusivity. This I see as one of the poisons to a lot of fandoms. A demand of indulgence of ONLY the things they like, and the exclusion of all things they don't. And should the creators ever DARE to deviate from that formula, then curse them with punitive measures. But on the same side of that coin... if they don't continue to evolve and do new things, then curse them with punitive measures. So if you compartmentalize everything, the lack of cross section makes you look tiny and impotent (aka lack of content). Cross pollinate everything, and any misalignment between audience preference on an individual level gets treated like a personal insult. But if you can get them past that hump, its a whole new vector of indulgence added to the mix. My problem is that youtube is the focal point of my day to day media. And even being aware of all the problems that come with it, I get the platform version of mixed media issues (largely due to platform costs and tired of maintaining dozens of accounts). NWG being on spotify kept me at a distance until they ported them over to youtube. Wish there was a better solution for this; as my disdain for modern web design, and the seemingly incessant need to bury things behind layers of UI in order to funnel people into the front page "guardrails" experience, grows every year.
Looking back at the early HTP episodes, as well as the ending that is used for every major video, all the TTS references they contain feel almost... quaint now. Like that stuff was a lifetime ago. You really have come a long way since that fateful day when GeeDubs released its new "content guidelines". Keep up the good work!
The Games Workshop "Content guideline changes" were not changes at all. They simply rephrased what was already stated: Don't monetize our copyrighted material. Bruva was never contacted by them, legally or otherwise, nor did they attempt to contact them to ask "We cool bro?" Their sole reason for axing Emperor's TTS is in other words, completely fabricated. While i enjoy the new stuff like so many others, having them abruptly cut the series off using doo doo fake reasons is a serious cause of concern.
@@Runefraga) GrittyWees absolutely would've axed TTS in one way or another, and with incessant striking of videos by randos/bots, Alfabusa getting merked would've been only a matter of time b) TTS was running dry, very, very slowly, but surely nonetheless (I, for one, found Magnus's self- -pity- *hatred* to be neither funny nor intriguing; also: lack of Dorn; also: lack of VulcanCorax! @@Runefragnot a good idea to ask any company “Are we cool”. once a company has been made Officially aware of a violating project they effectively Have to act.
@@Runefrag Actually, what you're saying is just plain wrong: Games Workshop's boilerplate "do not monetize our copyrighted material" only applies to text and drawings. Fan-films and animations based on Games Workshop properties, on the other hand, are *explicitly forbidden*, period, and regardless of whether the project is monetized or not. From the official Warhammer website: *Fan-films and animations - individuals must not create fan films or animations based on our settings and characters. These are only to be created under licence from Games Workshop.* This change coincided with GW launching their own streaming service, and its purpose was widely speculated to have been made to provide the company with a way to strike down any fan-produced creative video content that it might see as potential competition for Warhammer+.
@@Runefrag Bro the content guidelines absolutely fucked over an animator named AbsolutelyNothing because they told them to either work for them or turn off their patreon.
From the days I watched Eliphas', Dr. White's and Alfabusa's early content, the emergence of the Alfa Legion and the constant growth of the channel we've come a long long way. I initially was unsure about the side projects when they began but they certainly warmed up to me and made me enjoy WoD more than I ever expected they'd do. You guys gave us joy, a good laugh and have spent time and again blood sweat and tears into each project you've made. I hope you all manage to Keep up the good work and keep going. I'm looking forward to seeing more episodes of Zero Viscosity and the actualplay within the Fallout Universe once you are all able to get into it fully and I hope it continues to succeed as the rest of your projects have. Hopefully with the recent VALVe activity revival Zero Viscosity will get more attention as well. Have some money to help you reach through into that goal of 23K, I don't do monthly subscriptions so I hope it's okay if it comes from a direct amount into youtube. Hope your professional carreers as animators, voice actors continue to outpace and outperform expectations.
to be fair the audio, its the va work that sells it for me. Its the same reason for the old war hammer vids didn't need the animation if that was the big worry. you could just switched to it being a audio drama and i think it would been well received. Im patiently waiting for the day hunter the parenting finds it's full potential, and its going to take a long time. Thank you. But id be willing to kick in 20 a month for the war hammer audo. i bet alot would. OH the half life stuff, it grew on me, but it sure wasn't my favorite. It honestly grew on me faster than hunter did due to the fact there was much less of it. It found its grove by the second vid.
For real. The first couple episodes of HTP had super crude art compared to the newest ones, but we all still ate it up because of how great the writing is.
Wow it was two years ago. I’ve been watching the horse and blender episodes at least once a week for two years and I would have said it’s been like six months
I think about the whole GW "zero tolerance" policy situation as like how the Lion El Johnson went to sleep in this case TTS is the Lion and it is going to sleep until GW inevitably changes the policy in the fans favour (probably making it a policy that fans must get their content green lit by GW them self's, so that way GW can ensure that the creator makes it VERY clear that what they make has nothing to do with the main canon, and also to help advertise GW's warhammer content for free) really, TTS is just in a really REALLY long hiatus, and that it might return to us, after it is safe enough to do so (safe = not being obliterated by GW)
Audiologs are fantastic. The single largest draw of your channel for me is the writing (though obviously the rest like art, animation, music, and acting are fantastic too), and obviously that gets center stage in the logs, with the potential for much slower, more in depth conversations between characters. Plus, they're great for when I'm at work and can't be looking at the screen for the most part
I've been meaning to join the Patreon for ages and this CTA has been a good reminder for me. I regularly rewatch/re-listen to the audiologs because of how entertaining they are and they provide such cozy vibes while I function as a corporate cog.
All I needed to know is were getting a full Guy Chapman and Kevin audiolog. But in all seriousness, it sucks that Zero Viscosity didnt perform like you wanted; thats been one of my favorite projects! Also LISA MENTIONED 🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I wonder why it didn’t perform as well as htp. I didn’t like it as much either but I’m not sure why. I watched them all and I liked it but it didn’t have that draw that makes me watch it twenty times like htp does.

Seriously, it's the strength and genuine quality of your writing that makes watching or just listening to your episodes so entertaining. I've had these chapter and the audio logs on a playlist and playing in the background while I game, work, etc, and they just make the day that much more pleasant. Thank you again, all of you involved in the creation of these works.

3:38 I can't believe you made me remember that meme. Also I want to thank all of you who work on this project. It's wonderful to see your project come to life.
Your studio churns out some of the most creative and fresh ideas I've seen in a while. While your animated series are an absolute pleasure to watch and I follow them religiously, the audiologs are pieces of superb narrative that are akin to old radio dramas: painting a movie in your mind with just strokes of sound. I enjoy them wholeheartedly and, if I don't hear them when they roll out, it's just because I'm saving them for my next miniature painting session. More of them is always a good thing. Changes of format aside, and speaking only of the creative direction: I don't know exactly what you're doing, but it's fantastic. Do not change a thing.
Watch views that high for Audiologs? Well yeah, I regularly listened to them and fell asleep to them, often. They are wonderful on their own, they are also amazing to fall asleep to, listening to people talking on and on about amazing topics, with interesting characters, and once in awhile waking up laughing. Not a bad thing at all, some of my favorite creators that I sleep to regularly are Ross's Game Dungeon, which I listen to while conscious or trying to sleep, because its good either way. You all rock! Also, good job Alfa doing your actual accent, instead of just the swedish voice XD
Been following since TTS. Loved Zero Viscosity and cannot wait for more (threat)! Hunter the parenting introduced me to the world of darkness and the mage actualplay convinced me it’s finally time flex my own writing chops and deliver my own Hunter the reckoning chronicle based in the south west of the uk! Keep on trucking, ogres!
You guys literally make the best audio dramas that I know of. Your writing and audio even for the normal chapters make me able to listen to them as audio dramas anyway, you guys are professional with a capital P. Also, Alfa being this strange little creature is deeply funny.
I have followed this channel for about 10 years since the first couple of episodes of TTS and you all are amazing, hilarious and talented people. While the shutdown of the GW related series was sad in the wake of GW's own inane policy, I must say you have made me a new fan of the World of Darkness through the Hunter: The Parenting, it's lore audiologs and more and I absolutely LOVE the series and it's characters. I can say for the viewership of the audiologs being higher, I myself relisten to them once in a while cause they are just nice, chill stuff to have in the background while doing other things which surely bumps up the view counts a couple of ticks. I have thrown what little I can into the patreon and hope you reach the 23k goal to steadily continue this work. Möch löve from a fellow Swäde!
Thank you all for the amazing series. Easily been my favorite animation to watch over the past years. I must say regarding the audio logs, the amazing attention to sound creates a unique atmosphere which feels full and lively, making each one great to run through. It's like radio, you construct this intense image of what's going on in your mind. Keep up the awesome work, we are all cheering for you guys!
Listen; so long as you guys continue to put out bangers of the quality you've maintained for a while now, in all the areas of content you do, I'm happy to wait for as long as it takes. Please don't feel like you need to crunch to put these out. Your audience will always be around for a release (and inevitable rewatches), and I hope many of my fellow viewers will join me in immediately clicking over to your Patreon and joining even at the lowest tier. Also, YES MORE KEVIN
Just wanted to say thanks for an update like this, and thank you for the good times. Really loving Norfolk Wizard Game so far, and of course loving the H:TP content. I don't think I can put into words how much entertainment I get from this channel. So thanks again, and I wish you all the best in the new year. o7 Edit: And thank you for the reorganizing/relabeling of the H:TP content. That was like the single biggest criticism I could level at the channel, as I thought it made it real hard for new people to figure things out.
After how far things had fallen, it's a genuine relief to see that you guys are doing well and have bounced back. I can't wait for more of, well, everything!

Very encouraging to hear that there will be focus on 'liberty, smaller character moments' while showing the pub episode as a clip at 3:20. The Marckus Pubbing episode is genuinely my favourite audiolog there is, it's so well-written and the friend group goofs are just the best.

So, I don’t know how the views actually work for TH-cam in terms of how many times a single account viewing videos is counted. But I can tell you that I have been listening to and watching pretty much every video on your channel to get me through the last 4 months. I discovered you after I left a job that didn’t work for me and the humour in your videos and their quality helped me get through a rough period of unemployment. Yes, for some reason, the newest chapter of HTP isn't easily accessible from the home page, I have to go to the video tab to find it easily.
That's was a huge issue for text to speech
Yes please, the amount of youtubers that just don't organize their playlists drives me mad.
*I refused for my sanity sake to believe this.*
If you don't listen to the audiologs you'd be completely lost to the story. They introduce characters and important plot points.
@@simpsondr12 Which is why rebranding as sub-chapters makes sense
I’ve waited years for SAO abridged my patience is unending take your time, I’ve been rewatching over and over again to deal with the time
Looking back at the early HTP episodes, as well as the ending that is used for every major video, all the TTS references they contain feel almost...
@@Runefraga) GrittyWees absolutely would've axed TTS in one way or another, and with incessant striking of videos by randos/bots, Alfabusa getting merked would've been only a matter of time
b) TTS was running dry, very, very slowly, but surely nonetheless (I, for one, found Magnus's self- -pity- *hatred* to be neither funny nor intriguing; also: lack of Dorn; also: lack of VulcanCorax! TTS; also: lack of Iron Ork; also: lack of new lore with Guilliman that has been around for half a decade now)
c) we wouldn't have The Great and Mighty Kevin
@@Runefragnot a good idea to ask any company “Are we cool”. once a company has been made Officially aware of a violating project they effectively Have to act.
@@Runefrag Actually, what you're saying is just plain wrong: Games Workshop's boilerplate "do not monetize our copyrighted material" only applies to text and drawings. Fan-films and animations based on Games Workshop properties, on the other hand, are *explicitly forbidden*, period, and regardless of whether the project is monetized or not. From the official Warhammer website:
*Fan-films and animations - individuals must not create fan films or animations based on our settings and characters. These are only to be created under licence from Games Workshop.*
This change coincided with GW launching their own streaming service, and its purpose was widely speculated to have been made to provide the company with a way to strike down any fan-produced creative video content that it might see as potential competition for Warhammer+.
I just liked the aliens, my favorite was the homicidal midget
*The VA work AND stellar writing.
For real. The first couple episodes of HTP had super crude art compared to the newest ones, but we all still ate it up because of how great the writing is.
0:38 that gave me so much psychic damage it made me check the channel history in disbelief and then have an existential crisis
Literal "pickle" ball.
“…about 2 years ago” my bones 💀
Wow it was two years ago. I’ve been watching the horse and blender episodes at least once a week for two years and I would have said it’s been like six months
I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU GW!!! THE SWARM UPON YE!!! THE SWAAARRMM!!!
I think about the whole GW "zero tolerance" policy situation as like how the Lion El Johnson went to sleep
in this case TTS is the Lion and it is going to sleep until GW inevitably changes the policy in the fans favour
(probably making it a policy that fans must get their content green lit by GW them self's, so that way GW can ensure that the creator makes it VERY clear that what they make has nothing to do with the main canon, and also to help advertise GW's warhammer content for free)
really, TTS is just in a really REALLY long hiatus, and that it might return to us, after it is safe enough to do so (safe = not being obliterated by GW)
but yes I also agree with you, THE SWARM UPON GW!!!!!!!!!!! SWAAAAAAAARRRRMMMMM!!!!!!!
I send the swarm, I send the horde, thus saith the Lord!
THE SWARM! I WILL CONTINUE TI BOYCOTT TILL WE GET TTS BACK!
To GW's legal team I say thus: WOE BE UPON YE!
Thank you all for your transparency, and your hard work on this series we all love. Just joined the channel, keep up the good work!
Big Ups! 👍
Hunter the Parenting is my comfort series and I have no why. I rewatch it after bad work days to relax, keep up the great work!
Me too can't wait for more Kevin and guy- he's my favourite psycho😂
Once again, Speaker D proves he is just that little crop of delightful madness we all need in our lives to keep ourselves sustained. :)
@@sigismundafvolsung5526 HTP has a familiar cast and it uses a stranger version of our world. ZV needs a bit more world building. The NWG also immediately worked but then again I always loved mages but had no idea they could be like that.
11:51 I'm so glad that HL: Zero Viscosity will come back (and a little sad that it's "possibly for last two episodes, 'cause I'm in love with HL setting and there is not so many projects that expand it). Can't wait for it)
Happy to support y’all, even if it’s not much out of all of the donations you receive. Still, every dollar counts, I would imagine, and I’m happy to kick a few over to y’all to fund some quality entertainment! Merry Christmas to all of y’all over at Ogre Poppenang Studios!
Just to let you know "The Norfolk Wizard Game" is probably my favorite thing you have ever produced. If the Fallout: Arkansas is half as good well then count me super hyped.
I would love to see the hunter the parenting version of Vulkan and Corax, with them going on a 'BRO TRIP' to meet up with their father/Big-D.
Long lost siblings lol
I miss Vulcan and Corax a lot :_)
Make it Clunkin and Borax
it's Guy and Kevin. The duo is already there.
Vincent and Crowe’s Fun Filled Adventure for the whole family
The audiologs are awesome, ESPECIALLY kevins interrogation. The moving portraits and scene changes are plenty enough to keep my ADHD brain paying attention. Theyre great at hearing peoples stories and the lore dumps of Hunter. I cant support much monthly but ill always pay what i can for good content. Keep up the excellent work
For me, animation is just the icing, much of what I enjoy is the writing and vocal delivery, one of the main reasons why If The Emperor had A Podcast and The Probing of Kevin/How To Not Get Arrested are my favorite content from you folks
I'm doing my part!
As much as I LOVE the full chapters (trust me they are amazing and greatly LOVED) the audiologs are awesome and greatly appreciated!!!!
Thank you B-team for all the great work for the audiologs!

Been here since early mid itehttsd, can only say this has been one of the most important media products I’ve enjoyed. A great community and product I’m always excited for. Couldn’t even begin to explain what this is and how deep the lore goes for obvious reasons 😂 but all I can say is thank you! You’ve made my life and transitions so much better!

Good thing they've worked with Paradox previously and got explicit permission to use WoD, then, as per SpeakerD.
I’m so excited to start donating. It doesn’t feel like a streaming service. It feels like I’m directly paying the director of my favorite show.
I hope you guys truly understand just how good of a thing you’ve been making. This is art to be jealous of.
Happy to see you all continue to survive, my dad had me watch the early tts series with him when I was young and will continue to watch any series y’all make as they are very enjoyable for me and the people I care about to watch now.

I'm supporting y'all and I'm gonna keep on supporting y'all. Gonna share this video with some buddies. I love the audiologs and the supplemental stuff and the core chapters. I ain't one for live plays of games, but that's my own dubious taste. Whatever y'all do, I and a lotta other folks are there with you. Y'all are a delight and an aspiration. I hope one day to have some projects that get support and become such wonderful art like y'all manage to do. Keep on keeping on, internet buddies.
This strikes me as an excellent change. "A computer RPG with animated cutscenes" is a good way to handle a story like this.
Happy yearly Patreon supporter here. The complex interpersonal relations and surreal horror helps fill the Venture Brothers shaped hole in my chest cage.
Y’all take all the time you need for any of these projects. Every single one of them has been absolute gold, and genuinely some of the best WoD content I’ve been able to get my horrible little goblin-fingers on.
Everyone working on this show they put EVERYTHING into the videos and logs and stuff! Take your time! Each video we get is a rewarding treat for our patience and a chance to rewatch everything to check for unnoticed details!
Frankly, I love the audio logs as something I can listen to while working on Models, driving, cooking and cleaning! The Pub audio log is one of my favorites!
A decade or so is how long I have watched your channel. From humble beginnings when I wasn't even in high school yet, to now working full time at a Civil Engineering firm. I am glad I can finally afford to support one of my most beloved creators. Thank you for all the years of content!
Updated my pateon subscription from $2 to $5. Best of luck, you guys rock.
Yay! More of my people
Seriously, it's the strength and genuine quality of your writing that makes watching or just listening to your episodes so entertaining. I've had these chapter and the audio logs on a playlist and playing in the background while I game, work, etc, and they just make the day that much more pleasant. Thank you again, all of you involved in the creation of these works.
lowkey might cancel my disney subtraction and use the money id spend on that to support yall. if every little bit count and it could help you guys get another animator that seems a worth while investment as what you guy produce is leaps and bounds more entertaining than the slop disneys been putting out recently
Honestly I like the audio logs because I really do enjoy lore dumps. And you just make them fun
You guys literally make the best audio dramas that I know of. Your writing and audio even for the normal chapters make me able to listen to them as audio dramas anyway, you guys are professional with a capital P. Also, Alfa being this strange little creature is deeply funny.
Hey, Norfolk Wizard Game is the best actual play I’ve ever seen. Thank you.
So thanks again, and I wish you all the best in the new year. o7
Edit: And thank you for the reorganizing/relabeling of the H:TP content. That was like the single biggest criticism I could level at the channel, as I thought it made it real hard for new people to figure things out.
Ohhhhhhhhhh. Love youuuuu.

Oh man I COMPLETELY FORGOT about the Fallout actual play. How long ago was that first announced? It feels like forever ago.
Very encouraging to hear that there will be focus on 'liberty, smaller character moments' while showing the pub episode as a clip at 3:20. The Marckus Pubbing episode is genuinely my favourite audiolog there is, it's so well-written and the friend group goofs are just the best.
On sub-chapters - great idea, I often rewatch them when I'm on the road because of their excellent voice quality and writing, interesting how they'll be in the future
Thank you for recognizing we love the audiologs as much as the full videos. Keep up the great work!
As soon as I get back in work, I’ll be upping my Patreon tier. It’s the least I can do when I have been freeloading off of the amazing content you create. Have a good one, fellas!
