It doesn't surprise me to see two tailor hit the same lure, they are aggressive little fish, I've had babies try to swallow lures bigger than them, the second one might have been trying to eat the first one :D

Use small elastic bands to hold the trebles on the lures together. They only last 18 months or so before they perish. But you can have 5 lures in each section of your tackle box without them getting tangled. Saves heaps of frustration.
Thanks for suggestion Martin, I used those orthodontic elastics a while back but it just didn’t agree with me. Might give them a go again or just not pack as many in

Wow I use to fish the old bridge at night 20 years ago.
I would target fkathead on squidgies back then.
Also soapy size jewies on live prawns when they were running.

Thanks Dave, it is productive at times I think it's on a bit of a lull at the moment but it might change shortly I think. It's a nice part of Sydney that feels a bit out of the way

that berkley lure that you used is one of my favourite hard body lures in my tackle box ive caught giant herring, estuary cod, snapper, snook and even squid
I like the look of them, Ive caught some fish on it in the Hacking River in the past. Nicely done, some good runs on the board there with that lure

Hey bro love watching the videos! I was giving up on lures before I watched your channel. There’s one in particular that I’ve had great success with. Berkley gulp pumpkin seed minnow either 2 or 3 inch. The pinkies and bream smash them! I was getting people spectating me at Patterson river (Melbourne) because every cast I was getting action. Try it out bro, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again for regaining my trust in soft plastics and lures. Good thing I tried it once more!

Daiwa Trout bag is the name of it. Looks good, long lasting but doesn’t carry too much but that could be a good thing

@@ShroomFishing fair enough. It looks great your vids. I’m just saying if you have the ability to record in a greater setting I thought it would make your vids look even better. I have the go pro 11 as well. There’s a few settings that you can change to make your recordings look way more cinematic. Keep up the great work bro. Your an inspiration to young fisherman like myself. I would like to see a video of you explaining all your rods and what you use them for. Eg lures and cast weights. For certain species for rods you prefer and lures. I’ve seen nearly most of your videos so I know all the lures you use but it would be super helpful for everyone I believe.

@@ShroomFishing was thinking of bringing the TD black Sugapop, but it's 7'8" but really responsive when flicking out blades, might be a bit big for the river, could always team the TD black 2500 with the Shimano zodias, it's only 7'
@@MarkOzFishNSW Should be okay either way. I can see advantages to both. If you're casting toward the channel the longer rod would help . It's not a wide river but you wont even cast half way so it is wide enough.

Alan, it’s pretty good for the price, it doesn’t hold up as well in terms of fluff as the 4 strand but it’s still retains colour
