Who agrees with me that Day One is underrated. Honestly I’d never seen Lupita anywhere except for Black Panther, and even there she had a small role, but this film cemented her as a great actress in my eyes.
You forgot to include the Garfield Movie. That itself was a big trainwreck. Who thought it was a good idea to cast Chris Pratt as Garfield. Not to mention it’s predictable, cliche and laziest story.
It's only for movie he found mid and forgettable. He also said he doesn't hate or love any of the movies on the list. He gives them a five or six out of ten. The Garfield movie like you said is trash and he said that too in other videos and that's why he has it on the list of worst movies of the year.
Chris Pratt was fine not perfect. His voice is fine it's just that the laziness aspect was not it since he comes of as energetic and active and doesn't sound lazy. He just needs to lower his voice
Hold up, you didn’t like A Complete Unknown? It’s one of my favorites of the year! The music is amazing, the acting is superb, and it made me a big Bob Dylan fan. Then again, I am a big Biopic guy, and I get ur not, so to each their own, but I love the film
I give a kung fu panda for a six out of 10. Just a fine movie but after I heard about what happened behind the scenes when it came to the production of this movie. This movie dropped to a one out of 10.
@ mike Mitchell happened if you don’t know who he is he’s the director for the fourth movie but also there is the co-Director her name is Stephanie Stein. She wanted to respect the source material of the first and second kung fu panda I bet you didn’t know this there was going to be a emotional goodbye between tai lung and shifu but that didn’t happen because Mike didn’t want to implement that in the movie. He wanted to do more of his own thing and that thing is having a lot of control over what goes on in the movie do you wanna know something that almost happened but didn’t we almost had human characters? I’m not kidding there’s concept art online luckily that didn’t happen but also the chameleon was not going to have a backstory but due to early test screenings and begging from the animators, not asking begging Mike gave the chameleon a backstory, a terrible backstory at that. These are statements I copy and pasted from the document from the co Director’s Q&A kung fu, panda 4 SO MANY SCRAPPED BACKSTORIES FOR THE CHAMELEON. This one I’m really passionate about lol We had two test screenings 2 months apart. In each test screening, there was NO BACKSTORY or motivation for the villain, or even for Zhen. All of us were pushing Mike to include backstories and motivations for these two characters, but he pushed back. It was only after the 2nd test screening that he agreed to include back stories, and by then we were already in the middle of animation. Our producer didn’t want us to add too much time to the movie at that point either. I honestly think this is the worst mistake that a filmmaker could make. Backstories and motivations are essential. “A picture is only as successful as its villain” is I think how Alfred Hitchcock’s quote goes. Even the studio executives, who didn’t have much power over Mike Mitchell, kept asking him if he could include some sort of backstory for these two new characters. Again, he didn’t budge until the last possible moment. If you want to find more information, I suggest going online and looking for the document just look up kung fu panda for co Director interview there’s even a video on it, but I can’t put a link underneath because this comment will be taken down
Thank you for talking about mid movies. We are in a culture where you have to either love or hate a movie. It's okay to say a movie was good, but not great. Don't love or hate it. Just one and done.
Damn, she got $10 million for that role. I didn’t even know it existed until the other day when I was scrolling through reels and a random clip of the ending appeared. I had no idea why Robin Wright was talking/smiling while burning to death and then Millie walks off with the dragon’s shadow over her and if I already know the end now, do I even need to watch it??
No it doesn't to me it has a good story, solid action and good acting. It just depends on who's watching it though tbh, because some people don't like its long form of content thinking it's boring or a drag to get through.
I’m never gonna watch Miller’s girl ever again 💀💀 A prequel of Quiet place was needed but it movie was so mid, it could’ve been so much better WHATS WRONG WITH IF AND GLADIATOR 2?!
IF was enjoyable and great, I went to this movie because I was looking for something that wasn’t dark, gritty, and Serious because I watched a lot of shows and movies like that 😭😭😭
I feel like I remember Ryan Reynolds saying he wanted to do a movie his daughters could watch/enjoy which probably explains a lot of the sappiness Joel mentioned, maybe Ryan was just trying to make the emotions more obvious so even the young one (not the infant, obviously😂) can enjoy it with her sisters
In no particular order, these are the movies that were mediocre and forgettable to me; Twisters Alien: Romulus Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Heretic Oddity Rebel Ridge The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare
I’d say Godzilla X Kong, Despicable Me 4, Moana 2, and Deadpool & Wolverine fit this bill for me. Worst to best is probably: 4. Despicable Me 4. 3. Godzilla X Kong. 2. Deadpool & Wolverine. 1. Moana 2.

Loved lupita , hated the story

Godzilla x kong
Moana 2
The Brutalist
@@s.a.c.productions9595 I think the brutalist is the most realistic out of the replies
Obviously sonic 3
But for real it’ll probably be something like Anora or A Complete Unknown

I loved a quiet place day one made me cry the characters had such a sweet relationship. Was definitely not like the others though
I literally thought Damsel came out in 2022 or 2023, that's how forgettable it was

I really hope Kung Fu Panda 5 will be good, because if it won't, then the only reason this franchise is gonna keep going is for money.
bob dylan fan here, it actually sucked, the portrayal wasn’t at all how bob dylan actually was and was so historically inaccurate
