Thank you for sharing. We love our compost - thermal and worm. No fertilizers needed. :-)

I wish someone could help me out. Dr. Elaine Ingham, I believe, always says aerobic soil conditions ONLY. Then I see the very popular Japaneses EM Bokashi composting method, which is anaerobic. Also, aren't fermented foods (I believe all anaerobic) extremely healthy for our gut bacteria. If our guts are inoculated by the food we eat, then the bacteria must pass through our acidic digestive system. All that must be anaerobic as well. Hoping someone could clarify all this for me and others. So many questions... so little time.

It seems that all of the KNF is for problematic soils, all you need are the microbes

As a Food Scientist and as a Registered Nurse, I can tell you with certainty that almost all chemicals produced by obligate anaerobes are toxic to humans. Elaine's methods make use of aerobic and facultative anaerobes to balance soil pH, build depth and fertility to our soils and facilitate optimal aerobic plant growth...which is everything we and our animals eat.

Ur gut system is anaerobic. EM is marketing, an Bokashi is nothing u realy need. All fungi are aerobic
