Literally was strained at a friends house!! Car wouldn’t start apparently I had 6 fuses misplace allocer and changed it back normal Car started right up!! Crazy man
Thank you so much for posting this video! This evening my car alarm kept going off, and it's past Honda service hours. I was able disabled the horn, so now I don't have to worry about waking up the neighbors.
Hi Christina, Can you please send me a private message regarding this issue? Hi, I had/have the same problem. I was looking over the owner manual and it had no help as to how to disable the sercurity system that made the alarm go off. I looked at both Fuse boxes and checked out all the written Acronyms ABS, SRS, STS, ODS, etc. and I just could not find what the security system/alarm fuse was. Did disabling the horn actually stop the alarms from going off, or did it just mute the alarm and as far as you can tell, the alarm is going off but it just doesn't make any noise now? I need to know the alarm/horn fuse number as the manual is just not clear. And a lot of the marked boxes in the fuse diagrams have two numbers instead of just one further muddying the situation and clarity.
Thank you so much for taking that time! That's a good start in getting grounded in a car that's pretty much brand new to me. I'm a Toyota guy, so while a lot of things are similar, obviously these things have their own quirks. I just have no lights at all to the climate control and nothing will work it's dead in the water. I was told it's a relay, most likely, but could very well be just the unit itself, they are pretty much crap from what I heard and prone to failure. Anyway, thanks again for all your effort, I know that stuff can be a pain in the ass
My Honda CR-V 2007 alarm went on /my doors were not functioning /drove about 5 minutes and alarm went off when I put in park again went on/ again drove 5minutes and alarm went off/drove to home car was in drive I opened door again alarm turn on it was scary In neighborhood midnight I took one lead of battery make it quite:/in the morning I watched fuse box video took fuse of horn then connect lead of battery lights were blinking who cares no noise I tried manual door open and shut light blinking goes off it was very good and informative Thanks for help like a layman
That’s the best video of its king ive ever sern. I hope accessory number 29 is for (aka cigarette lighter) Power outlet because i blew it out. Maybe my charging unit required more than the outlet could give without frying.
Thanks alot, that definitely helped. I did not see a fuse for the alarm. That's what I really need to know. Can you show me which fuse is for the Alarm?
@@Lee-kr7ry No lee, I actually didn't. But I did solve my problem. There was a TH-cam video that I have pass over again and again. Well for some reason I decided to look at it and it was the exact video I needed to shut my alarm off. Thanks for the follow up guy.
Hi Ronnie thanks for the videos...which fuse is for the speedometer console that has the fuel gauge, temperature gauge and the digital speedometer itself.
I have a 2008 civic and the cruise shuts off on its own. Apparently its a common issue. But when it shuts off it also does something to the governor(I'm guessing) because it aggressively chugs or wants to stall when the RPMS reach 3500 in any gear. I can put the cruise back on only after i have turned the ignition off and back. The entire time time the cruise power indicator light stays on so it is on but will lock latch or lock in
It really does my head in on my honda civic 2006 finding the fuel pump fuses as the numbers are so small all joined together with the middle row. Needing bionic eyes
hi there. my civic 2008 has original xenon lights. One day they just like that stopped working. what would cause that? I want to check the fuse that related with them, but I dont know the exact fuse. would you help. thank....
I went to change the lamp lantern (new civic 2011) and deleted the headlight flashlight and the two taillights, you know to tell me which fuse of which box I change to work again thanks
which are the 2 DC ports? I think i blew mine using one of those Car Vacs, and no longer get power from either of my DC sockets. I'm assuming #28 rear accessory socket is the one in my center console? as i don't have a rear DC socket, the other is under the radio dash board near the AUX port. Neither work. Honda guy told me $112 to look into why the electrics not working on those sockets... to replace a fuse? that's most likely whats wrong with it... dealerships always ripping people off
Stock car alarm has been going off in my 2002 CRV. IF I open the driver side door. Simply after a short or long ride close it. The light on the steering column starts blinking really fast then the alarm sounds in 5 secs. If I close the drivers door the push the open button on the key faub the alarm does not go off. Then the doors automatically lock. Any suggestions??

It won't reset. You either have to have the stereo code card that came with the car which is in the owners manual or you have to pull the radio out and take the serial number and other numbers off the stereo and call the dealership
