I can't imagine being a friend/ family member of the victim and hearing people say that they must've deserved to be murdered because the murder was "cute".
I can’t even imagine how Ryan feels to this day.. thinking about what he could have done differently and potentially saved her. The media can be so harsh on victims. I hope he’s okay
I hope he feels more than a little guilt. He failed his family, and he holds more than a little responsibility for the death of his wife. He didn't even try. She was screaming his name, and he ran away. That is not a man who deserves your sympathy.
Honestly. It's disgusting the way people are blaming him more than they're blaming the literal murderer. Shock prevents people from behaving rationally and a lot of people instinctly run when there's danger because that is our brain trying to save us. He can't overturn that feeling without proper exposure to dangerous situations. It all comes down to flight, fight and freeze.
My sister in law was murderd a few years ago her name was Chantel Taylor and I was really hoping you could do her story as her body has never been found and we haven’t had much said about it and I really really want it highlighted as she deserves to have her story told please I hope you see this message it would mean a lot to us as a family because it’s like she has been forgotten about ❤️
Sticking up for Ryan here is so important because survivors guilt is real I can’t imagine how many times he’s replayed those 15 min of his life. I hope he’s okay and finds peace soon
I like that you don’t use scary music. The mood is so much nicer and natural, unlike other channels who speak in a scary tone and use scary background music. This is more chill and humane
@@anamaryalejo5001 I love Baily too! Iv been watching her since before she had millions of views! She is the original murder make up and mystery channel :) I'm so happy her channel has grown so much and she is finally getting the recognition she deserves :) x
That is pretty privilege to a whole other level. I find it disgusting as well when someone dies and people say it sucks because they were "so hot/good looking" like it would be more acceptable if they were ugly. There are actual studies on the way looks play a part in most all aspects of life and interactions with others.
If your pretty, the news talks about you for years. If your ugly, the news doesn’t even report your story to the public. That’s the case with Holly Bobo here in Tennessee.
I totally agree. My now ex-mother in law once said to me (she used to be, and is still a very gorgeous/handsome gypsy woman): "beauty is underrated". Everything in me just Disagreed! Hello, beauty is random, getting the "right" genes from both parents, and it is, like I said before, pure luck. If anything, beauty is way overrated and it is also a two-edged sword. Build your personality around it, and you will feel lost and of no worth after the age of 45-50 if you are a woman.
@@lunadexelaju3494 it’s not really about society becoming more shallow… it’s always been present in society since the beginning of humankind and all of us as humans are subconsciously shallow to a degree. You can see how much beauty has led humankind since ancient times… they didn’t wage a war because Helen of Troy was ugly, after all. Beauty has always been and will always be one of the main drivers for human advancement. Our brains are wired to notice beauty and much of our reproductive strategy involves noticing biological markers of fertility in others. Often those markers (mixed with culture) play a huge part in what we determine to be “beauty standards.” The golden ratio is a mathematical formula for determining human beauty and also plays a big part in how we perceive the faces around us. You could argue that photo/video based social media is playing a role in making us more shallow but I really believe it’s more of a chicken and egg situation with that - we’re already naturally a visual species and base much of our immediate perceptions about people based on their physical traits so if anything, SM is just showcasing a behavior we already exhibit subconsciously. We will always notice, appreciate and seek out beauty - it’s part of what makes us humans :)
Thank you for sticking up for Ryan. When we get into these life-or-death situations we haven't been in before, our brains don't always accept the actual danger. That's part of why we end up with PTSD, we aren't prepared for such things to happen in everyday life. Anybody blaming Ryan has never been in a life-or-death situation within their real life themselves.
And getting emergency services to come is a smart move- someone else is coming to help- because if Ryan gets taken out, then no one will find them for days
As a mother I can tell the fear of “my kid doesn’t love me” is real and scary … how emotionally painful would that be to getting murdered or being hated by your own child !
I was a little skeptical when you started this series, inspired by Bailey....I tell you what Danielle it shows that you do your research and your series have quickly become one of my favourites 💜💜💜
Aww thanks so much that's so nice to hear! I was definitely very apprehensive about taking the leap and starting this series. I'd been so interested in True Crime for the longest time and really enjoyed watching Bailey, she inspired me to want to do the same but I just kept finding reasons not to and I was definitely worried that people would think I was just doing it for views and didn't have a passion for it. But I'm glad that I finally did and it makes me so happy that people are enjoying the videos. It does take a lot of research but I love doing it and it's nice that I can put my Criminology degree to use!
I absolutely love Bailey she is a Queen! I think it's great that she inspires others and I'm enjoying watching this channel just as much as I enjoy watching Bailey 🙂 I always used to watch ( listen) to crime documentaries on TH-cam while doing my make up before I ever heard of Bailey and so did my two eldest daughters. Must be a thing 😂
I feel like these people wouldn't think she's 'too cute" or have a crush on her if she mudered someone they were close to 🤦🏻♀️ great video and beautiful makeup as always! 💜
@@DanielleKirsty serial killers fascinate me but more along the mental side of things. It definitely is super weird when people fall in love with them!
Famous male murders get lots of women after them, too! I feel like it’s so sick. I get so angry when I hear about all the “fan letters” and “proposals” famous murderers get. Gross!
I went to school with a girl, Stephanie Condon, who was abducted and murdered. Everyone in the community knew that the man did it. Police botched their job badly. Her body wasn't found for 10 years. Was found in the woods behind the man's house who killed her. So at that point police extradite him from Nevada to be tried in Oregon. They do not get a conviction. Her dad killed himself about two weeks after that verdict. It still haunts me. I still think about her weekly. She won't ever get justice.
Her mom was well known within the Korean community here in Aurora colorado, she worked at H mart for a while doing the photo booth & SHE WAS SO SWEET!! She talked highly of her daughter and let her do whatever she wanted. It’s a shame and makes me sick to see people make up rumors saying her mom was trying to sell her when that was never the case.
People will find a way to fetishise/romanticise anything and everything. The kids online thinking she’s “so cute and pretty” and I’ve seen them do this with other killers. They don’t fully understand the gravity of these killers’ actions…it’s almost like they view them as fictional characters.
Unless it was someone they loved brutally murdered like that, they won't get it. It's so far from them that they don't even awe it as real. It's just something they see movies and think happens to other people that they don't care about. So many people don't have empathy for strangers and it's scary.
I wish I could find the research done on people who fetishes serial killers but psychologist have studied them. They are "special" It's strange that people, knowing what they've done, will fall in love with people like her or Ted Bundy or Richard Ramirez...I just can't.
I feeel u but I think she just really wasn’t in her right mind no one walks around with a fuck it attitude we alll care about something at the end of the day
And I felt like that was a very conclusive way to tell a story like this - not like a creepy/horrible story, but a synopsis of every side of a tragic event with respect to everyone
When i was 5 our daycare provider was a jehovahs witness. She was a very sweet person but i remember things being very controlled in there home. Danielle you are so compassionate when speaking about everyone. Thank you for being so considerate of everyone in your stories. You show so much respect! Once again I'm on a cleaning/ Danielle binge your videos get me through the ugh of cleaning so thank you for that! You are awesome!
I love that you show genuine emotions on your channel. Not that I like seeing you crying in the harder to cover videos. But it’s nice seeing your compassionate dedication, and I relate more with an empathetic person than channels that are either too serious or make a joke about this stuff. Love ya. I never post and this is an old video so I imagine it will go sight unseen.
i hate when people romanticize stuff like murder, and rape. its disgusting. it makes me so sick to my stomach and the fact that someone said that who she murdered deserved it.
I work with people with paranoid schizophrenia, people that had tried or successfully killed their mothers...for some reason the mother is a big problem in situations like this because in many cases the individual believes that the mum is being replaced by a demon or member of CIA so they try to save their mums by killing the imposter...its really sad...
I really do hope that all of the tiktoks were deleted... people really shouldn't be thinking "cute" killers deserve less time regarding their looks... amazing video btw needs more views
Bailey has inspired an entire new genre and community of creators. It's so amazing. Danielle ur top notch, and def found what ur good at. Sending my love always
I feel like a big part of the way people reacted to her is because she's asian. There's a lot of fetishism of Asians on TikTok, and i can definitely see that in the way people treated this case.
I agree. Even if the criminal isn’t Japanese or even East Asian, there will always be this perverted yandere comparison. not sure if it’s the same for men but you see it with female killers or criminals
@Ms. Elegant are you serious?! Its evil?! Lmaooooo. The fact that her parents were interracial had nothing to do with her killing her mom. You sound ridiculous and racist af smh
There is in the world. Especially America. So many men fetishize girls and women of asian decent. They see them as more "innocent", petite, subservient, shy, something to sexualize. It's really gross.
No, its because she's young and pretty. Danielle literally gave a few examples of pretty privilege. Even the columbine shooters and Dahmer have fan girls. Ive had an ex get away with burglary and domestic abuse because hes attractive. Being attractive can get you very very far in life when it comes to hand outs
I remember Eleanor Neale did this video 2 months ago! I hate how tiktok really downplays things. I have like a few hours worth of true crime/mystery Monday videos to catch up on between you, Eleanor and Bella fiori so I’ll get around to it this week!
I “just left” when I was about her age and I really regret it. Home life might have been rough going but what happens to a vulnerable girl in this world stinks on ice too.
I've just known you from instagram and decided to look at your youtube channel, and I'm honestly so impressed by your personality (how respectful you word and talk about difficult topics) and opinions! (I hope that doesn't sound patronizing, english isn't my first language so I'm sorry if it does) ❤️
Every episode gets better and better. Your analysis is always a plus and with this case being so recent on social media there was so much more to see. Can't wait for the next.
I think I love you. I feel like you handle every case with such grace and tact. Your sponsorships never feel forced or tacky. And your makeup is super pretty. I’ve been bingeing your content for several days and I’m going to be bummed when I’m caught up. Great job!
I really appreciate that you cover some of the more obscure cases, whereas other true crimers do the same cases as most others. Thank you. And your makeup always looks great!
Smh......thats why you should know your own child, and take them out if you have to. I would feel responsible giving birth to a child like this and letting them lose in society.
When I hear anything about religion and an angry teenage girl, my mind goes straight to abuse (SA). The level of visceral hatred Isabella displayed toward her mother is not unlike that of other girls and young women who confront their mother with the abuse they’ve been enduring at the hands of a step-parent or someone in the church only to be met with denial, victim-blaming and sl** shaming. Before you described the schizophrenic symptoms and sudden change in behavior I was certain that her mom was just covering for her husband or something. It makes more sense to me, especially given that schizophrenia is not *usually* associated with intense malice and violence. And there was some serious anger if she attacked her mom so viciously, all those stabs to the face and throat, cops would call that “personal” (not to be funny, but when someone kills a stranger or out of ‘convenience’ they usually do a couple of stabs, not, what was it, 96? So if they came across a crime scene with that many stab wounds they would say that the murder was personal and the murderer was very angry). I’m not very familiar with the practices of jehova’s witnesses, so I can’t speak to that, but abuse is altogether too common in the church especially, the mormon church and Scientology and other cult or cult-like sects. And it’s ridiculously common with step-parents. I don’t remember the exact stats, but when a single mother brings an unrelated man into the home (like, to live) the chance of physical abuse and accidental homicide sky rockets. So yeah, idk. I know that despite the fact my abusers have been predominantly men in the past, a lot of my anger has been directed towards my mother for failing to protect me as a child or for acting like her pain was more urgent and therefore anything I was going through as a kid was insignificant. Idk man, it’s easy to hate your abuser because they are objectively bad people, but there’s this sense of betrayal that comes from dealing with an enabler that would rather feel sorry for themselves than protect their children and I can’t explain why that’s so much harder to get over. I guess because they think of themselves as victims too and what they did is more of “a grey area” and less black and white. It’s interesting that in recent interviews, despite being diagnosed and treated for schizophrenia, she still holds a lot of anger for her mom.
Jehovas have it though they can’t even celebrate birthdays I saw a video of a little girl at school they got her a cupcake for her birthday and she started crying thinking she was gonna go to hell. I could see that Isabella probably lived in fear went through a lot of trauma and snapped
"sense of betrayal that comes from dealing with an enabler that would rather feel sorry for themselves than protect their children" THIS THIS THIS so much. I couldn't have put it into words any better myself. Its like I partially feel bad because they were in some sense a victim but also an adult so should have known better. It messes with the mind.
As someone who has seen the manipulative and degrading tactics of some Jehovas Witness devotees, I don’t doubt there was AT LEAST mental abuse involved. Not that that completely justifies murder, but I don’t doubt it.
I think the faces she's making is attitude. She didn't want to leave her cell so I can't imagine she's too happy about being filmed. Also with Ryan being over powered... it's extremely easy to over power someone with a door. I've done it with a group of 3 grown women on the other side when I was only 16 so I mean.. I believe it's reasonable he was overpowered.
Thank you for being steadfast in calling out bad behaviour. Also, your case choices are always so interesting! Not to mention that Scissor Sisters Green eye look.
All hail the algorithm. You are a marvelous storyteller. I am so excited to watch your creations. Your makeup looks are amazing. Thank you for sharing your work!
I personally used to be a Jehovah's witness and once I was starting to question the religion around 14, I asked my parents, theoretically, what would happen if I were to become disfellowshipped and what life would be like. According to them, the only conversation I would have with them would be about necessities. Not every parent is going to be this way and I never got to find out what that life was like, thankfully, but that's just a glimpse. I was told to never talk to or pray about anyone who was disfellowshipped unless it was concerning them coming back to the religion. Growing up a witness was definitely very difficult when dealing with people who weren't apart of the religion and also having to base all of my decisions if it was right "according to the bible". They are by definition a cult and I respect anybody's religious belief or choice and am not here trying to bash the religion, simply to provide some insight. I hope I was able to help anyone at least understand about what the process is like. I'm open to questions!
Serial killers can be physically attractive, it makes me uncomfortable to say that.. because it's conflicting. That doesn't mean they should be treated any different though. They murdered someone, they should be treated accordingly. It's biology to find people attractive..but it takes knowledge and heart to see past that for what they really are. Killers are killers, no matter the package.
I agree. I think there's a huge difference between saying someone is good looking vs attractive. They may be good looking, but being attractive has multiple criteria requirements, in my opinion. Being good looking is just one, and definitely not at the top of the list.
Yes, like I see why people call her pretty, because she is. BUT, she fucking killed her own mom and that is not acceptable and she shouldn't be let off so easy just because she is pretty on the outside.
I found your channel today and just binge-watched every single one of your true crime videos (even though I've seen videos on most of them before). I love these true crime videos and your personality already and I'm so excited to see more in the future! xx
You're right of course about how you can't judge a book by its cover but it's interesting to think about how people often stop keeping up with appearances when struggling mentally to focus on the bigger issues.
You're the real deal in true crime videos, you really tell the stories fully throughout so grateful to be learning the truth. I've been binging you for days now, thank you for all you do!❤
To me her expressions looked a sarcastic- like she's saying "hah, yeah I see you, you see me, f*** off". That kind of feeling. I think she was just irritated by the cameras. Seeing as how she was late to court because she didn't want to leave her cell, I think this makes sense.
Danielle, I just wanted to reach out and tell you you're one of my favorites also. I have a few favorite TH-camrs probably about four or five and you're one of them I really really enjoy hearing your take on everything and how you are so sympathetic and empathetic towards the victim I really enjoy hearing your stories and I really appreciate your dedication and and very thorough research. Keep up the great work you have a lot of fans on one of them and I appreciate you!
Adrenaline makes the smallest person very strong. Maybe the girl swung the knife at step father so he stepped away and that's when the girl quickly locked the bathroom door. We just don't know. In a situation occurring so fast anything can happen. Think about a baby putting there little hands in a fist and a parent trying to open the baby's hands to get something from the baby,to wipe/clean the baby's hand, etc a lot of caregivers to babies will say "my goodness you got a tight grip" Has anyone ever tried to pull a kid off the monkey bars? Maybe it's time to leave the park and your child doesn't want to leave so they grip those bars so tight. Kids have a strong grip.
Again! Well done on these I am so thoroughly enjoying them! I love hearing your input on things too because I think I remember you saying last time you have education in criminology? Is that correct?
Aww thanks so much 💜 Yes that's right I studied Law & Criminology at University, I've been fascinated by True Crime for the longest time! It's nice that I get to put my degree to use in these videos 😊
Danielle does such an awesome job with these. You get the story, the whole environment, a non judgy and empathetic approach and an amazingly soothing voice If u ever see this, I'm from Portugal and we have a lot of messed up cases too
I love these colors on you and the way you try to look at all angles of the case. Keep it up. I’ve been binge watching for awhile now. But really, your blue eyes truly pop with the colors you chose.
Over the years I've seen many of the cases you have covered done by others and you by far bring in so many more details. I really appreciate the whole story you present and time it took to research those details. True crime has always fascinated me and this show is my go to now. Bravo Danielle and thank you!
Idk I don't want to say I don't believe her as far as the abuse a mental health issues but...... she comes off as extremely intelligent, manipulative, and detached. Both of my stepsister and cousin are like this and they will literally say and or do anything to get what they want. My cousin actually did accuse her dad of abuse and I can say 100% he doesn't have a abusive bone in his body. So idk I honestly do feel like she would still be a danger to society if she is released.
I don't buy it. Her court appearance is enough to show me what she's truly like. People use mental health as an excuse way too much these days. When it comes to murders, I don't think you should be let out. The fact that you could murder someone is enough to say you're a dangerous person. The only excuse for murder is self-defense.
We have to remember though that she was and has continued to be analyzed and studied by many mental health professionals, ones who specialize in the kind that could lead to outcomes like this. Mental illness should and will never be an excuse for a person’s actions, but it also has to be remembered that your brain is where your entire consciousness stems from. And if your brain gets messed up by a mental illness as altering as schizophrenia and to the extreme degrees it can develop, it can change who you are completely. It’s really terrifying and tragic how necessary medication is for some people. I’ve seen first hand the effect one anti-psychotic injection can have on a person; it was like someone had ripped out their mind and placed in another one. Anyways...we can’t excuse her behaviour, we all must be responsible for what our body does, but...I don’t know...please don’t forget how complex the human brain is, and how changeable it is.
Fun fact: the conflation of beauty and morality dates all the way back to Ancient Greece. Phryne is a famous example of someone who used their beauty to prove their innocence. This worked because being beautiful meant having the favor of the gods, and why would they favor you if you were immoral? Similarly, the conflation of ugliness with immorality also has very old roots, and it can be observed particularly often throughout the middle ages.
Thank you. As a Jehovah's witness it breaks my heart when people accuse us of being a cult and all these other things. We are a very peaceful religion and I have never personally seen any of these things happen in our religion that people are talking about. If they have though it is not tolerated in our beliefs i can assure everyone of that.
You’re my favorite true crime reporter for a reason and this video displays exactly why. You’re so sensitive to the topics you discuss surrounding mental health and you don’t stoop to insulting people’s appearances just because of crimes they’ve committed. Plus you don’t give all these big dramatic reactions and your own personal opinions, but if you do, it’s based on facts. You approach these topics with so much respect and for that I respect YOU! Unlike others on YT like Annie Elise who is constantly calling people psycho, delusional, crazy, nutcases, etc and calling them all sorts of horrific insulting things and being fatphobic and shallow as hell. Forever your biggest supporter!!
Let me say this! My mom is Jehovah's witness and I pray to Jehovah every night, however I don't practice let alone claim to be a Jehovah's witness myself. This girl used this excuse because she knows Jehovah's witness are hated by almost everyone. She's not mental at all, she is very clever and did what she wanted to do, because she knew exactly what to say to get away with it!!
Manipulative and deceiving, Just like how she deceived her father and tries to get him to go away. I don’t think religion has to do with it as much as her own choice and how mental ill she was as a person. And it’s disturbing how ppl uses this to attack on Jehovah’s witness like it’s a witch-hunt. If you don’t agree with other people’s beliefs you can choose to be respectful instead of bashing something just because you can’t get it or choose to hate.
I can only imagine the mother last plead to Jehovah. I hope the family can healthily mourn for their loss. It’s not an easy, and such a tragedy as this. I’m sure you’re doing everything right, you got a good heart, sometimes you feel like it’s not enough, you’ll never be able to meet expectations that maybe you expect for yourself but Jehovah loves you dear. He knows how imperfect we are, how we basically live, set to fail because of our sin, no matter how you look, or what you think, how much you know, your relationship with Jehovah is personal, it’s true and precious. Don’t let guilt eat you. Do the best that you can and Jehovah knows you’re already doing it.
I agree. My parents are Witness too. And not once have I ever been abused. Till this day my parents are witness. I’m not but I do believe and call on him. But I’m still with my parents. But I do believe that this girl used that to her advantage.
Same here. Two sisters and my mother are witnesses (baptized), I am not. I left by choice and have not once been shunned for it. My one sister that left it on a bad note constantly talks badly about it like everyone above. Claiming it as a cult, abuse, all of the above. I was there right with her and didn’t see what she saw. Point blank, she wanted to do worldly things without consequences and now whenever I hear anything about her life, she is miserable. People who say have been shunned are failing to add in that most likely they were baptized then decided to leave which caused them to be excommunicated. So that sends a negative message to everyone who is not familiar with the teachings that once you go in, you can never get out or you’ll be shunned by them all. I mean, they’re trying to paint it closely to Scientology which is nowhere near the case. I may no longer practice, go to the meetings, or read the magazines published (although my mother always sends relatable ones for any situation I may be in), but I keep Him in my heart. I went a few years ignoring Him and the teachings, and my life was miserable too. I decided to follow the good life as much as I can the way He intended, and I can say that my life has slowly turns back around to positives and blessings.
@@HoneyBee-br6hi I don’t she was implying the others weren’t. There are some killers who you remember more then others. Their crime just sticks with you and when you hear their name, you just cringe.
I absolutely love your 100 percent rational and logical and factual way of interperating these videos also your empathetic views are also an attribute thank you
Honestly when I first heard about this case, I just felt so bad for Ryan. I can't imagine the guilt he lives with, and people have no right to blame him when he probably still struggles with what happened
Yeah it’s weird for people to idolize her for her actions. This sort of hit close to home for me because I did not expect for her to have been a JW. I was raised a JW & it is very tough. So much control in every way. When it comes to who you are as a person, who you are aloud to talk to, what you are aloud to do, how you dress & the list goes on. I also left the religion at a young age & it was tough. Sometimes still is all these years later. I had found that even after I left I was still in a “mental prison” from the indoctrination. The abuse at home could be true although if so the parents might not have seen it that way as abuse. Sometimes people act off what they know & have experienced themselves. If that makes sense. I have struggled with my own parents as well as they are divorced & still JW along with most of my family. Even though we don’t see eye to eye. Never in my life would I think of taking their life or anyone else’s. This is what intrigues me to be in the mind of a murder to attempt to see their way of thinking on how they could justify their actions. Then again you had mention schizophrenia. There are layers on layers to be considered.
Thank you so much for sharing. as another former JW this was totally triggering. The fact that she had to email her mom tells me they (her mom & step dad) were shunning her. And the fact that neither of them spoke to or checked on her upon arriving at the house. To have been through a disfellowship so young must have been incredibly difficult.
Me too, being raised as a Jehovah’s Witness does make you a bit different and maybe odd then the general public not that murder is something I would ever consider, but having kids of my own and raising them without religion they are both teens I can see how incredibly bizarre my upbringing was
Being a JW and having religous trauma is NOT an excuse for murder. I was also raised in a cultish Christian denomination and left it in my early twenties but it would never cross my mind to harm any of the members let alone my family physically!!!
Not an excuse, obviously, but absolutely a factor and an explanation. You say cultish so I assume not a full-blown cult like the JWs or mormons, but I'm still sorry you had to go through that. So glad you got out though!
@@bambino9235as a JW we are not a cult. We do not have any weapons..there are no men who have sex with other members except their own wife. We are not against the government. We do love people. I absolutely love your delivery. There is a popular woman who does the same type of videos. I was appalled how flippant she talked about murder and torture. You are definitely invested in your stories and the innocent victims.
Hey Danielle, first of all, I love your videos! Second, it would be really nice if you did a brazilian case, like the Suzanne Von Richtofen one, it's really famous here in Brazil but I don't know if you heard of it, it's really shocking and also she was a very pretty girl. They even made two movies about the case, recently released, telling both sides of the story (of the murder of her parents). Kisses! 😘
I just wanted to add my 2 cents. I was brought up as a Jehovah’s Witness from the age of about 5 until I decided to leave at 14/15. I had no choice but to go to the meetings and bible studies when I was a child as I couldn't be left at home alone and as soon as I was old enough to form my own opinion and stay home by myself, I chose to leave. My parents also decided to leave about a year after I did. I wasn't baptised but they were so they were officially excommunicated but I wasn't. People from the religion still occasionally drop in on my mum and dad and try to get them to rejoin but they don't want to and neither do I. They were mostly nice people and they helped us as a family deal with the loss of my 8 month old baby sister who died when I was 7, and as a Support Worker, I have also cared for a lady whose family I used to know from the church. They have always been civil to me since I left but I know this isn’t the case for everyone and it can be very awkward for some after they have left. We chose to leave because we felt the rules were not realistic enough to follow in the 21st century and we also saw a lot of hypocrisy in the people who were 'Elders' or "leaders' in the religion often not practicing what they preached and being caught having affairs, drink driving, gambling etc and they would try cover it up for one another then stand on stage and tell people not to do the same things, which we didn't agree with. If I had stayed, I would not have been allowed to do most of what I find enjoyable. No music or TV/movies with any swearing, violence or sex in it (so, most of it then), no body modification, no sex or even kissing before marriage or being able to stay home alone with your date without a chaperone in case of temptation. I wouldn't be able to hang out with my homosexual friends, go to clubs or parties and women had to wear skirts and dresses when they went to meetings and were not seen as equals and if someone had a blood transfusion (even if it was vital for survival) then you would be considered unclean and frowned upon. I didn't agree with these antiquated rules so I chose to leave and I do not regret my decision at all. In my opinion, as long as you are a good person, don't hurt anyone and set your own boundaries that keeps you safe, mindful and happy then you don't have to have someone else tell you what to believe in. I hope you found my TED talk useful haha

For me I feel her actions in the courtroom when looking at camera is when girls get snide when they feel they are being stared at. Shes not trying to be funny. Shes being a smartass.
When she makes eye contact with the camera if you look closely you can see her lip quiver and tears well up in her eyes. I’m not defending her in any way I’m just saying I don’t think her look here was bizarre. She didn’t want the camera on her because she was fighting back tears and she obviously knew they were trying to get her reaction and they wanted to see if she would cry. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s what I see.
I don't understand why people always want to make excuses "she must have been abused to react like that" as if there weren't fundamentally bad people or people with mental disorders. If the good exists, the bad also exists and some people just like to apply it.
I can't imagine being a friend/ family member of the victim and hearing people say that they must've deserved to be murdered because the murder was "cute".
tbh if that happened to me i’d kill the peoples saying that tbh.
In Ryan's defence its not as easy to break down a door as it appears in the movies.
Also like she says in the video, you don't go straight to "she's going to murder her if I don't knock down this door".

I like her videos as well, I also watch another "storytelling" channel but it has the some scary music and none of the creepy voices.
That is pretty privilege to a whole other level. I find it disgusting as well when someone dies and people say it sucks because they were "so hot/good looking" like it would be more acceptable if they were ugly. There are actual studies on the way looks play a part in most all aspects of life and interactions with others.
It goes to show how shallow we have become as a society, and void of morals.
It isnt pretty privilege, she got arrested still pretty or not
@@lunadexelaju3494 it’s not really about society becoming more shallow… it’s always been present in society since the beginning of humankind and all of us as humans are subconsciously shallow to a degree.
This is so true. “Good looking” people tend to be trusted more off the bat.

counter argument: people with good hygiene tend to be more trusted

The cases she covers is fresh in meaning most of the cases she talked about i knew them from her just now 😳

Thanks so much! 💜 I totally agree, I've never been able to understand the people that romanticise these killers
@@DanielleKirsty serial killers fascinate me but more along the mental side of things. It definitely is super weird when people fall in love with them!
To quote another true crime TH-cam. That i love but GET BETTE IDOLS PEOPLE
Honestly. People who think anything of the sort are clearly very mentally ill.
God pays his debts without money. He murderer WILL pay one day. Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord.

Exactly!! She knew exactly what she was doing. She waited for her mom to get home and attacked her.

i hate when people romanticize stuff like murder, and rape. its disgusting. it makes me so sick to my stomach and the fact that someone said that who she murdered deserved it.
Sign of the times. People love the macabre, gross and twisted stuff. People live for instant entertainment, gossip and shock factor
I work with people with paranoid schizophrenia, people that had tried or successfully killed their mothers...for some reason the mother is a big problem in situations like this because in many cases the individual believes that the mum is being replaced by a demon or member of CIA so they try to save their mums by killing the imposter...its really sad...

Killers are not born they are created
It’s interesting that in recent interviews, despite being diagnosed and treated for schizophrenia, she still holds a lot of anger for her mom.
im so sorry youve had to go through abuse but thank you for sharing your experience
Jehovas have it though they can’t even celebrate birthdays I saw a video of a little girl at school they got her a cupcake for her birthday and she started crying thinking she was gonna go to hell. I could see that Isabella probably lived in fear went through a lot of trauma and snapped
there is A LOT of emotional and physical abuse among Jehovah’s witnesses
Thank you for your compassion toward those with mental health issues. ❤

Her expressions look sarcastic to me. She seems to be contemptuous of onlookers. Those are very "What are you looking at!" facial expressions.

Funny how you’re using a quote from a Neo Nazi

To me her expressions looked a sarcastic- like she's saying "hah, yeah I see you, you see me, f*** off". That kind of feeling.
I think she was just irritated by the cameras. Seeing as how she was late to court because she didn't want to leave her cell, I think this makes sense.

Well mentally ill people are very smart
I’m not defending her
I don't buy it. Her court appearance is enough to show me what she's truly like. People use mental health as an excuse way too much these days. When it comes to murders, I don't think you should be let out. The fact that you could murder someone is enough to say you're a dangerous person. The only excuse for murder is self-defense.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing her walk free if we could lock the entirety of Tik Tok up in prison instead. That thing is a real danger to society.

Remember: The devil has the face of an angel
They didn't exist
Says who
Yep, the Devil was actually an Angel
As the story goes, lucifer was an archangel who God castrated and sent to Hell.
The devil disguises himself
Thank you for sharing Danielle ❤️
Aren’t they usually the unusual suspects , it’s usually the ones we wouldn’t think are capable
@@taedeal5082 Absolutely!!
I literally rolled my eyes when I heard you mention Chris Watts...he is evil 💀🙄
And the other ones she named isn’t!?
@@HoneyBee-br6hi I don’t she was implying the others weren’t. There are some killers who you remember more then others. Their crime just sticks with you and when you hear their name, you just cringe.
LIKE, another case. A while other story 🙄🙄 & theres murderers who done worse and killed more than Chris watts ever did.
Danielle is so respectful when telling these stories. We can feel her humanity 🙏
You have become a part of my daily routine, love watching your videos while doing my household chores.Keep it up,you have such a talent.
How do people stick up for this crazy girl. Shows how crazy this world is.
She had sense enough to agree with her dad in an effort to get him to go ahead and leave….
Unfortunately, I know exactly how it feels to fear your own child! This breaks my heart 😥💔
i hope you’re safe
@@laureauvray7948 I am, thanks so much for your concern! My daughter is in a treatment program getting the help she needs. 😊❤
I absolutely love your 100 percent rational and logical and factual way of interperating these videos also your empathetic views are also an attribute thank you
The way that people are reacting on tiktok is yet another refreshing reminder of why I’m not on tiktok. People are weird as hell.
18:43 I think she did that as a way to say “I see the camera/I know this is being filmed”
Honestly when I first heard about this case, I just felt so bad for Ryan. I can't imagine the guilt he lives with, and people have no right to blame him when he probably still struggles with what happened
the same people saying that she couldnt kill cuz shes pretty are the same people that complain about pretty privilege,,, then they do this...
I absolutley loves this video. Thank you for pointing out the problems on social media as well.
We love yr strait up logic!!❤️💯
I think your assession of Isabella was spot on. And as Bailey Sarian always tells us: "Get Better Idols"! :)
@@parisbrandie7592 Still no reason to murder her mother.
Try to go door to door. It's actually heart breaking knowing some people have such rude things to say. We have had guns pointed at us. Threw water on us. Spat at us. Had their dog attack us. Punched. Cussed out and many foul words used. It's not easy. But our love of people we keep on. Jesus himself was persecuted. Please give us a chance❤❤❤❤
@@tammywood4352My heart bleeds for you. You are a victim of the Watchtower. The Watchtower sends you door to door precisely so you experience those awful things and to convince you that the world is evil. It’s the leaders who are the villains
@@tammywood4352 my heart bleeds for you, genuinely. You are a victim of the Watchtower. I’m really glad these Bailey Srian comments didn’t get to her because I really love this channel
I absolutely love your delivery. There is a popular woman who does the same type of videos. I was appalled how flippant she talked about murder and torture. You are definitely invested in your stories and the innocent victims.
What a beautiful makeup! ❤️💜💗
Thank you!!
That was very incitefull ( I can’t spell that apparently lol) . Thank you for that . I’m glad you left
i’m an ex jehova’s witness i can relate
@@cleobinx Thank you. So am I. Its not as well known over here in the UK but in America I think Jehovah’s Witnesses are even more widespread and taken much more seriously.
@@lauramountford87 • In Canada too, and their practises are...cult like. It’s scary. Several of my mom’s friends still won’t leave her alone years later and are still trying to recruit her. And me. It’s scary.
I really appreciate your commentary. Thank you!
Danielle i love your videos, it’s so refreshing to see so many other youtubers being so creative and following what they love. I LOVE IT 💕
Tik tok Is a WEIRD place. The Mendenez Brothers went viral on tik tok and everyone was saying how attractive they are.
Thank you Danielle. Very detailed and informative.
