It was interesting to see retro scenes everywhere that you can't see on other ferries. There are no escalators or elevators, so it might be a little difficult to move around if you have big luggage.
After arriving at Kokura Port, you can walk to the nearest station, Kokura, in about 10 minutes. Also, there seems to be a bus that goes to Tenjin Bus Terminal in Fukuoka City. Departs Kokura Port at 5:20 on weekdays and 5:30 on weekends. The price is 1,350 yen. It takes 100 minutes. You can ride without a reservation.

Ferry made in 1987.
As far as I know, it is the oldest ferry that operates regularly in Japan. I hope it will not be scrapped as I can see many things that cannot be seen anywhere else. 😄

眩しいボーディングブリッジでしたが、個人的には眩しさよりもその長さが印象的でした。今までいろいろなボーディングブリッジを歩きましたが、おそらく一番の長さだったと思います。
