- I LOVED my stay at the Grand Bavaro Princess in Punta Cana! Here is a tour for you! I'm so sad I didn't get to eat at all 10 restaurants but I was still able to see the vast majority of them. The food was too good and the beach was beautiful. The resort is family friendly but great for a group of adults. Let me know what you think! Have you stayed at this resort before?

Girl , you missed the best resteraunt in the resort. I had platinum club and my room was directly across from the resteraunt. The groundskeepers would climb a tree to get me a coconut as soon as they saw me. Service was amazing. I love this place. The grounds too....

great video, don't know wich one to choose between barcelo bavaro palace or bavaro princess familly club. We are a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 children 8 and 12). We like beautiful places, comfort and calm, good food and beautiful buffets. Thanks for help.

Finally someone who gives great information! Thank you! We like a one bedroom typically so would you say the layout of the platinum room " kinda" feels like a one bedroom? Does the couch pull out? I travel with my mother who likes things a certain way. Many thanks again.
Awww Natalie I wish I could kiss you on the cheek!! lol. Thanks for the kind words! Yes the platinum room is like a one bedroom! The couch doesn’t pull out but they have one of those “pull down” twin beds. Like that are in the wall and they come down? Idk what they’re called but I slept in that one when I went with my sisters! When booking, request it just in case every room doesn’t have it!

Well thank you ! You just made me realized I made a good choice for my upcoming trip
I went there March 2022 and want to go back. After going to some not so great resorts, this one is the place for a great beach, good food, nice staff, wildlife, and drinks. And the room was super nice. Next time I gotta try more of the restaurants, make sure to get reservations as soon as you check in so you have one a day.

Its between this and Riu. I know they are both very large complex because they include various hotels in one. I'm still thinking of which one to go to. Princess complex looks more chill and Riu looks lively to me.

It’s overwhelming at first but it gets smaller the longer you stay there. You have to get on the trolley to get around or make that long walk lol

Omg, thanks for the review! It looks fantastic for an affordable all inclusive type of hotel in the area. I was surprised by the quality shown and I'm pretty excited to try booking.

We were thinking of going to the Punta Cana Princess because it’s and Adults Only, however there aren’t too many video reviews on that one and from the few vids I have seen it doesn’t look as nice as this resort. Since you went with a group of adults, did having families with kids hinder the experience at all? The seaweed can never be predicted. It was medium when I was there but there were people out there all day cleaning it up. Felt so bad for them it was so hot and they had so much clothes on lol but they’re there

I completely understand the no kids thing. Especially with it being gone honeymoon!!!! There were kids but not too many where I was annoyed which is surprising because I went in July! The resort is big you take a golf cart everywhere. We were actually supposed to stay at Princess but it was closed because it covid so they moved us over. They have a super lovely honeymoon room I think you should do it 💕

It comes with the room! You have to choice a platinum room type and it’s included
Do you have to set reservations even for breakfast, lunch or is it just for dinner. Can you still get into any restaurant for dinner without reservations, what the wait time?

How's the beach...I keep hearing lots of seaweeds and not clean or usable? I am going there Aug 17th next week..I have booked Ocean El farro ..have u been there? An considering switching to Princess Bavarro?? Should I ? Also is the Indian restaurant open? Thanks for your help!
Hey!! Thank you ❤️ seaweed is everywhere. They have people cleaning it up all day unfortunately it’s just what our planet is going through. I haven’t been to Ocean El Farro before but I think you should go with your gut! Sounds like your researching them both so I think whichever pleases you the most. I loved Princess Bavaro. & yes the Indian restaurant was open when I was there I just didn’t get to it.

We are here now for 5 days now..Indian food is ok..it is basic but gives us a good option...all restaurants so far have been good... specifically vegetarian options..just get a note from customer service when I check in and show it at all restaurants. We are enjoying the resort but there is a lot of seaweed..they do try to clean it all day.

Thank you so much!! I was tipping in dollars! I would bring $50-$100 in small bills for tipping. You might not even use it all! But people I too are the bartenders, wait staff, bell boys, drivers, ect. It’s not really expected but highly encouraged. Have an amazing time!!! Come back and tell me your fav restaurant lol
Oh I don’t think I answered the question 😂😂 you can just give them $5 at the least but I always have staff I create a bond with and I tip them more at the end of the trip
Restaurants the food isn’t so good exception The Gauchos Steakhouse! Hispaniola buffet is very complete and super yummy!

Hi, if you book at the Grand Bavaro next to the beach section can you also visit the amenities at the Family Club section which is further away from the beach?
We have friends with kids going to the family section with their kids while we want to go to the other one but would love to join them from time to time.
Did they get rid of the pushy time share people in the lobby??

@@heyniaa last time I was at this resort was 2018 and being in the main bar area was horrible, they wouldn't leave you alone. Numerous times throughout the trip we would have consistently people coming up to us trying to get us to go to this timeshare for a bottle of rum and a t-shirt, when I expressed my concerns to the hotel manager he said there was nothing they could do as they share the workspace. Being harassed consistently while you're on vacation doesn't make for a good time

Heyyy Pelumi ❤️ no this is all inclusive! So you can eat and not have to bring out your wallet. There’s only one restaurant you can’t eat at it if you are not in the VIP club. If you’re in the VIP club you can eat anywhere and your lobster dinner is included!

Heeyyy! If you’re doing the all inclusive everything is included! So you pay a package price before you come and once you’re in the property you don’t have to pay for anything other than the spa usually. Food and drinks are unlimited!

Do you have to have a private room booked to have access to the private features in the resort, me and my partner are looking to book the platinum honeymoon suite, will this give us access to the private bars, pool and beach etc
Heeeyy!! Yes, to have access to the VIP features you have to have a VIP room. As long as you’re platinum you’ll still get those things! The honeymoon sweet is soooo nice!!!

All the resorts look hella empty, how are the Rius in Jamaica? I've heard those are good party resorts
The resorts are only accepting a certain capacity of people due to covid 😭 unfortunately Jamaica was the same way!
I also try to record early in the morning when no one is outside so it’s not weird just walking around recording people disturbing their peace lol but sometimes I can’t help it
Which is the different from platinum and standard rate?
It all depends on what room type you get! I can’t put something like that in the video because it’s definitely different now than it was when I uploaded this video because prices change daily. Gotta do a little research friend just make sure your room has the word “platinum” in it and you’re safe

Can you explain what is the platinum club?
Yes ma’am of course! Basically it’s like a VIP club. There’s a private beach you get to eat at, a private pool, and a private restaurant. You even get a VIP lobster dinner they schedule upon arrival. The beat part to me is the private concierge you have available 24/7. You get a private check in and check out which is super beneficial when it’s PACKED at the front desk with everyone trying to check in and stuff don’t nobody got time for all that get me to my room baby 😂❤️

EL PASCADORE WAS HORRIBLE. Consider yourself lucky you didn't eat there, 1 hour 15 mins to get a cold lobster bisque soup cold fish, cold paella, horrible, all the other restaurants were A++++ great vid!! I Can't wait to go back
What actually includes in the food all you can eat or you have to pay all the restaurants all your meals at every restaurant

In the platinum club but all the swim up bars are closed in the country right now because of Covid. Government mandated

Elegimos este hotel por que parecía bueno y era completamente renovado pero lamentablemente Este hotel es una desilusión total 😣.
No se queden en este hotel.
Encontramos cucarachas, el baño sucio dañado , la comida pésima. Tanto tiempo planeando estas vacaciones y que el hotel sea tan mediocre es increíble. La playa llena de algas no sirve. La piscina sucia. Que desilusión. No gasten su dinero vallan a otro hotel. Las habitaciones huelen mal.
