- Hello everybody and welcome back to Bus Simulator 21, COUGH I mean Tram Simulator Urban Transit!
Well the lovely people at Still Alive Studios/Astragon were lovely enough to send me a key for the recently released Tram Simulator Urban Transit, not a DLC for Bus Simulator 21 (though I can see why you'd think it would be) but a whole new game, completely separate!
We'll be taking a look at what this entirely new game has to offer, and whether it's worth the £16.99 asking price. There's supposedly 6 new trams on offer, as well as a whole tram-load (pun intended) of new missions to keep us occupied!
So sit back, as we return to Bus Simulator 21, SORRY, I mean Tram Simulator Urban Transit!!

After Bs18 it was to expect better game, not double worst.
It seems appropriate that the company releasing this game also releases games called BS
It's free if you own the BS21 Season Pass or the BS21 Tram Extension DLC
Other people have beat me to it but I think it is important to say that this is free for people who bought BS21: Season Pass or Tram DLC so I disagree with the reviews that called this a money grab (to BS21 players anyway), as you are not paying for it (I'd urge you to mention that in the next video, not defending the many issues with this game though, but most people won't pay for this game)
On the other hand... who would buy this as a standalone game?
As I said in my Steam review, people who want a tram sim would surely buy TramSim. Bus Sim players would be better off buying the Season Pass as they'd also get the Ebusco, School Bus, extra school bus, and Tram DLC + this game, and I imagine most who already wanted the DLCs have already done this and therefore had this game free.
Surely astragon do not think they'll make much money on this - so probably why it's just an enhanced version of the DLC. I wouldn't recommend it to new players.
And yeah... six trams is just a lie. Definitely three. Plus there's loads of bugs such as broken windscreen wipers on the heritage tram, and the ramp. And passengers getting stuck sometimes asking for route information. And... you get the picture.
16:42 - btw you don't need to paint them one by one 😅
21:00 - sanding... you need to press the sand drop on some hills/in rain and to brake in a hurry (as in 27:57)
29:40 - they already said in Discord they have an update on the way so fingers crossed

they really are getting lazy now, BS18 actually seemed like it improved some things from Bus Sim 16 (only issue was not as many dynamic events like the drunk passengers or people running for the bus) but with BS21 and now Tram "Sim" it doesn't seem like they improved that much
@@MattJames2211 Bus sim 21 added open world to the game wich i liked a lot, but i havent played it in months and when i did since the beginning of the year or at least since the map expantion the game would just crash at random intervalls at least every 1 or 2 hours on average

It's all so confusing.... Angel Shores had the ability to run all electric buses that can change routes based upon priority of route, rather than permanent tracks, but as chosen to d away with all buses, to move to tram only public transport. Despite this, articulated log trucks, presumably running on diesel and all privately owned cars are still the main source of transport on the whole. It's laughable that this small tram can carry even close to required capacity. When you count up the amount of 'bendy' buses in BS21, there really isn't very many at all. A variation at best. Angel Shores will not save the planet. I wouldn't care but the place is so small everyone should be walking anyway, just not under the front of my bus for a change.

Only one thing I've noticed about the tram's in Bus Simulator 21 and Tram Simulator Urban Transit is that there's no pantograph on top and no overhead wires in other words a catenary for some odd reason, very interesting if you ask me, unless they're battery powered or powered by a third rail. Not sure what their basis' are.

I would like to point out to anyone who has bought the tram dlc in Bus Simulator 21, will will get this game for no addition cost. Just pointing this out to anyone who is sceptical, I personally am probably going to try all the trams then delete the game, have a great day.

Why buy a whole new game that has the same map as bus sim 21 when there is a addon that does the exact same thing?That's what I call a SCAM

u do know people who got the season pass/tram DLC or this game would it like this
season pass means you get urban tram free
tram DLC means you get urban tram free
urban tram means you got the DLC for BS21 free.
so you are NOT paying for the same thing twice not sure how you dont know what EVERYONE knows...
I have BS21, and i am, even if its the last thing on earth not paying a penny for either thing. BS21 still has a S*** ton of bugs, and even though i am a tramhead, the game only fell apart after bus sim 18...

Can't complain when it comes to console it's free with the season pass

Try going to peripherals for your joystick, I dont really know though
they dont work at all... plus theres even a "steering wheel" option.....

Decarbonisation is a word now. Tram Sim Bill Gates still won't tell anyone what powers the trams, and if it's on electricity, how that is fed to the tram, and how it is generated and sent through the grid?!?! On the game fo real, this is DLC at best, but a total rip off at worst. Hope they have time to fix bugs and add more non-tram content to Bus Simulator 21 now then?
