Yes, people still fish there on a regular basis. I know there was an issue one summer several years ago where a large amount of fish died due to lack of oxygen in the water, but I believe the lakes were restocked.
I've heard it's free from the bloke in the tackle shop in hucknall. Can't verify that though just trying to find out now if it's free no rules fishing to get a late evening/ night in
Paul Turton thanks Paul , I’ve always have been interested in seeing the first photos of when bulwell hall housing estate was first built . I grew up there and there’s lots of little features in the landscape that I often wondered what it used to be?

There's some on the Bulwell Photos Facebook group I believe. I've only seen ariel views though, nothing on ground level
