Closest ill ever get I think to a Woodstock moment, from the tailgate parties the night before where the girls was going topless and the bands was playing amongst the crowed and everybody shared their goodies. The next day we toted our coolers in packed with drinks and tried to stay together that was next to impossible our groups ended up in 5 groups before the BB fest was over, the bands was great and I even remember that one band Soak getting tossed out for stagediving and taking out a cop
I was there as well. :) Fun times. No Doubt, Bush, Wallflowers and Collective Soul were some of the better performers there that night. I also remember rather liking Soak and thought Paula Cole did a decent job as well. At least from what I can remember. Least favorite was Jewel. She came out complaining about the heat. It was near the end of June, damn near July and she's wearing a black leather jacket. C'mon. It had already been 95+ degrees on most days since mid-May. xD
It took me at least an hour to find my way back to the car cause there were no markers in the parking lot of this "monster rock festival." haha at least i made it to the car, one guy we were waiting for spent the night in front of the speedway like a homeless person :-p
Who remembers that 5 hour car ride to get 1 mile down 114? good times

If this was the one at the Texas motor speedway in 97 , it was by far the hottest concert I had ever been to. Even till this day.
