Hey Steve ❣️ From one Miller to Another one ☄️THE WINDOW☄️ 🌎💖 ✨Will always be my favorite song on the album: 🦅 "Fly Like An Eagle" 🦅 I thank you Mr. Steve Miller; for such a great song 💋
Love the spirit of this song lyrically. As for the production, the Hammond B3 is well used. A great combo of old and new music technology. Moog and B3 on the same recording - not to mention the guitar riff. Steve Miller will always be one of my all time faves. I wore the grooves out on this LP.
There's a live version of this somewhere that is much longer and seems like the live song that Steve decided was going to be his "watchtower". Great soloing and mood on both versions of this song.
Like 90% of the music I listen to and sing enjoy, Steve Miller and his 70's era was amazing the amount of talent these albums had proved my 'deal' with today's 'musicians' - At least when our band's and artists Sold their Souls to the Devil, they asked forFame, Fortune AND Talent.
This album just goes from one great song to the next all the way to the last. All vibes.
The Music I Grew up on the Steve Miller Band

I've always loved this song. It's one of my all time fav. It sure takes me back to the student lounge in high school where we had a jukebox.

Haven't heard this in a while. I think it's the same chord progression as All Along the Watchtower in the choruses. Great song.
Great song! Thanks for sharing...

"You know it really hurts to have your hymen torn."
Is that what you meant to say or do I need to get a new translator?
He was running out of ideas at this point. This song sounds like a combination of Wintertime, Abracadabra and Fly Like an Eagle.
This was before "Abracadabra", and made during the making of songs like "Winter Time" and "Fly Like an Eagle".
