She is obviously very dedicated to the musical side of her talents and has spent a lot less time with her head stuck in all of these other things. So that large portion of time well-spent on practicing is what he is referring to.

Whoever the 19 people are that gave this a thumbs down have no idea what real talent and real music is. How could anyone give this video a thumbs down? This girl has a dad that spends tons of time with her and nurtures her talents. That would NEVER be a thing to be disappointed with. So whoever you 19 thumbs down people are, you obviously are negative and unhappy people.
Those who gave the "Thumbs Down" to this video, and this lovely young girl, did so out of pure jealousy, IMHO. Not only can she play the 5-string competently (and, which is very important, hit the strings and all notes crisply), but she can also hold a tune rather well. It also helps that she's cute and that she is (obviously, from the video) someone who loves this country...unlike a certain Occupant of the White House right now.

This is one of the most wholesome things I've ever seen. I love the rawness of it. No professional studios. Mics, gear or equipment. No world class players. Just a father and daughter playing good music. Does it get any better?

Those who choose to downplay this gift to all of us are reminding us that not all people are worthy of much of anything.
