I'm thinking to buy the 2012 version. Best looking version of that generation.

I think the 2018 Yaris (Europe) looks the best in that generation

By the way I'd advise *NOT* getting the 4 speed auto. Get the 5 speed manual, only if you can drive manuals.

@@aidan1585 why you don’t advise getting the 4 Speed Auto??

@@kr1ss00 Because 4 speeds in the 2010's is stupid, that gearbox is very similar to the original Yaris from 1999. Also very slow. No doubt it's reliable, but the manual will last longer too.

I don't know about sips gas, i was hoping for better on gas, 28/32. At best 34 on only freeway. Definitely very comfortable, reliable and durable. Wish they would sell this yaris in hybrid form like they do in other countries, id be first on line. I have two for work, one with 155k and the other with 315k, just regular maintenance on both.

I have the 2012 Yaris LE 5DR. I'm at 192K miles (bough it in Summer of 2011)...yes I drive a lot.
No problems except the gear lights went out this weekend (I'll have to get fixed). I hope to keep my baby as long as I can.
I DO wish it came with an arm rest, but I guess can't do much about that.
I only buy my front windshield whipper from Toyota, other places don't have the correct size.
When it's freezing outside, i would warm up my car and lock with the spare key. But now, my driver door won't lock woth the key anymore, i have to go to the passenger side and use the key to lock all the doors😮‍💨.
Oh oh...and my right headlight is foggy (but that is probably due to something hitting me and the insurance company collison mechanics didn't properly put it in.

I don't know if this cars have been running past 400k mls, but, in different countries, outside US toyota makes durable human transporting equipments, that is main objective seems to satisfy not only fast and furious drivers but more general, all climate zones, who are dwell in every day-to-day life.

Toyota should start selling the Yaris and Yaris Cross in the USA. They won't sell as many as the Corolla, but there's still an increasing demand for smaller cars.

Depends your sport cars actually do have an acturate reading while other cars like sedans unless they are luxury sedans with powerful engines are more of a marketing gimmick i mean what's more appealing to look at seeing a cars odometer max out at 90 or 140 even though that car can't go past 90?

@ToyotaforCorolla If you used a few brands of synthetic oil, yeah, a guy has a 04 Corolla with 400k miles on it, but the engine wear is only like it had 30k miles on the odometer. He uses Kendal Synthetic Motor Oil with Titanium Liquid additives. Have they fixed all the problems on the Yaris like A/C units that dont work??

  • @Qcn0xa
    @Qcn0xa 12 ปีที่แล้ว

I mean the max number in the odometer. Since when has it been the counter of how fast the car CAN go? Yes it does tell how fast the car is going, but the max number doesn't mean the max it can go.. It could be less or more..

Proof positive that the new small car standard is the Hyundai Accent. VW Polo is a close second, followed by Ford Fiesta. And at the bottom of the list the Toyota Yaris. Is Toyota trying to insult the consumer with this?

Hmm..... most features? I doubt your golf has 9 airbags, Stability control, and electronic brake force distribution or bluetooth. Last 400K? Don't make me laugh. The Yaris is proven to last 400k+.... someone on youtube has a 07 Yaris with 433K from December '11....... VW's are known for the dreaded CEL COMING ON AND NEVER extinguishing.
Find me someone with a VW with 400K..... You will find it a hard task. Want to see the yaris. Search: 2007 Toyota Yaris 433K.... Triper4mance
