I wish you still did the lens reviews and stuff. These days I think we YT subscribers could use some no-nonsense real reviews instead of the biased reviews from the growing amount of sponsored shills out here.
This is one of my most used lenses for the X-Pro2. It renders beautiful and very distinct. Extremely useful FOV, no finder blockage, really discrete on the outside. Cheers
Hi King of Lenses!, What's your advice on the Voigtlander 35mm F1.7 Ultron Aspherical for my trusty XT-1, versus your favorite lens "Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2 ZF.2"? How do they compare? ... resolution aside.
off video topic ....low light (nikon) d750,d4s,d810 etc. who's the king? would love to get me one and looking for some opinions thanks ken god to see your feeling better!!!
I've lusted this lens and the Voigtlander Bessa R4A rangefinder (has 21mm framelines). Would be a sick combo. I instead opted for the 20mm 3.5 Skopar to just stick with my Nikon SLR's.
I love that you are sharing your thoughts on the Voigtländer lenses. I wish you would review some vintage ltm lenses as well; especially the soviet leica clones. Any plans to do that?
I'm late to the game with Leica and picked up this lens last week from CameraQuest and it's really small and well made. I paired it with my M240 and Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35 1.4 MC II.
@@arrangearrange Yes it does that bad. I have only been shooting B&W with it, but can't stand the color shift and sold it tonight. Looking at the Voigtlander 21mm f3.5 color-skopar and TTArtisan 21mm 1.4..
@@mwales2112 from what I’ve read, the 3.5 will be fine. The voigt will be better. I’ve also read people saying corrections in camera can work but I don’t have Leica cameras. Sadly it’s a little bigger but not bad.
Thanks for endorsing what I feel I almost already know :-) I won one of these little gems on an ebay bidding session having previously returned a Skopar 25mm which was not right at all. I have not taken it out for a proper trawl around London yet but am hoping it is going to be my "walk about prime" especially for street. "Test" results in and around home so far are great. I anticipate that this is going to become pretty much stuck to my Fuji X-M1 (via my helicoid adapter).

Ken, how would you compare the image quality on this lens to the Fuji 23mm f2?
Any Idea if it can be used without problem on a7iii? , I mean, it does have bizzare corner colors or things like that....Gracias
It sure does have those
What view finder would you use on Leica M

Using this on the Leica M, very sharp and great rendition. Worth it.
