Hello! I’m in Canada. Is golden syrup the same as corn syrup? Is this used to make the cookies more crisp, as opposed to using granulated sugar? I do plan to try this recipe. 😀
It's not like corn syrup. It's made from sugar. You can get golden syrup from Walmart in Canada according to the internet. Also known as light treacle. I hope this helps.
