I agree with Coach Saban 110% a starting receiver is one injury away from you starting and you should be preparing like Hellfire for when the opportunity presents itself! That is exactly how Tom Brady got his starting position as quarterback, Drew Bledsoe went down and that was the last time we ever seen of him in New England!! RollTide!
As a Buckeyes fan, this is golden!!! Honesty is the ultimate motivation 💪 Saban is the real deal. My Buckeyes lost to ann arbor this past year and EVERY PLAYER doing mat drills right now knows the score and talk after that lost. Saban is the standard because he hold players accountable! like it or not.
The thing is some guys have a terrible game but think they did great because maybe they scored a Td and/ or caught a long pass. But then dropped two TD passes and missed several blocks and assignments
I'm a Georgia fan. I have mad, mad respect for the GOAT Saban. And what he has had, that allowed Bama to beat Georgia multiple times over the last few years, is players who did exactly what he asked those guys to do in the natty. Bama beat Georgia in 2017 because Tua rose to the challenge. Bama beat Georgia in 2018 because Hurts, who was benched after 2017, made sure he was ready to save the team. (And he did, dammit.) Bama's injured receivers COULD have allowed these young men the opportunity to join the Georgia Heartbreakers club like those quarterbacks, but they did not rise to the occasion.
Bear Bryant used to have a saying. Basically he said to win it all you need some schedule luck(escaping the auburn game with a win) and injury luck. Who was the better team when fully healthy? Idk. But I do know that the game was played and Georgia won. No excuses needed. Georgia beat Alabama and deserves the title. Roll Tide.
We as students and fans knew 2 of the 3 were tweeting bs all year about playing time. They dropped passes the entire damn cs game. Somebody had to address it. It's also why coach brought in all the receivers this past class. Congrats on the natty yall deserved it.
If Alabama were better, then their backups would be better, but they weren’t. Instead, Georgia won with a walk-on QB, freshmen receivers and their own injuries.
@@MrWilliams4k did they all transfer? Seems like it would be for the best. That also puts into the perspective some of y’all’s struggles throughout the season, because that could definitely serve as a distraction.
@@philmcrackinnow The SEC championship showed who was the better team but Alabama lost their top 2 receivers and 2 defensive backs for the championship game. Even wounded as were were, we could have still won the game. Be assured that your mouth won’t be flapping next Fall.
Fun fact: Smitty caught a hundred balls every day - after practice. Did that on his own. That’s what it takes, that’s what a pro mentality does. Smitty is just one example of this.
Tua his freshman year too, he wasn't the starter but he was going to make the best of his practice reps and the opportunities he got at the end of games
Maybe Bama should train their backups more during the year. Top 2 receivers catch 100 balls, which in itself leads to more chances to get hurt. Most coaches work with the backups too. Saban was crying about his own problems but blaming his players.
Sounds like he's saying you can take horse to water but can't make him practice hard. That's up to the backups and, apparently, they were taking a powder. They did look like shit. And I don't know where he gets three from. He said two DBs ("and best backup") and two WR. I get four not three from that.
He called them out because he knows what they could’ve done. Devonta smith caught the game winning touchdown pass in the cfp as a freshman. He didn’t care that he was sitting behind sophomores and juniors. He put in the work and won the heisman and now is in the NFL
@@markfennell1604 That's right, take all the blame and make sure each one of those kids gets the participation trophy he so richly deserves. @@markfennell1604 That's the thing. Saban PUT them in the spot for success. Bryce Young PUT them in the spot for success with spot on throws. They literally and figuratively dropped the ball when it was their time to shine. It's a learning opportunity for them.

Not gonna lie, his speech motivated the heck out of me. It had me looking around for opportunities that I may have missed because I wasn't prepared to meet them.
Saban is the man! I’m an Auburn fan, and I still realize that. He was basically telling it like it is, and if that hurt someone’s feelings, then boo-hoo. This generation is all about themselves, and there in lies the problem.
If he was the man he would accept responsibility for losing instead of blaming 3 kids instead of your coaches and really shitty play calling so he is literally doing the exact thing he is accusing those kids of doing when what really happend is UGA knocked his head off in the 4th

So stop pretending your recievers dropped the game. It didn't happen that way
@Real Talk well maybe one day Alabama can recruit some depth, at this level excuses don't matter maybe recruit some back up recievers then they could win a title
I hope he was also calling out Billingsly! This dude gave up on Bama after Saban benched his butt. Hall had to of been 1 of the 3 receivers that Saban was talking about also. Dropped a crucial touchdown pass that hit him in his hands.
You guys need to hear Coach Saban in this type of setting. I heard him this week and I could have listened to him for hours. He’s a phenomenal speaker. He is a brilliant mind and Could have been a CEO for any Fortune 500 company. Fortunately for Alabama he decided to be a football coach. The man is next level. Nobody like him.
This is a valuable teaching point. He’s not crying because he didn’t win. Whoever says that is very silly and don’t know how to think on the level of a coach or psychologist. This new generation of kids look got instant gratification instead of working to earn something. If you are a parent or teacher you will understand
This is why Nick Saban is one of the best coaches in college football, because he drills it into his players heads in order to be a great player you must go through the work ethic and being a great player you got to practice and if you practices half-ass you're going to be a half-ass player, in order to be great you got to put the work in more work you put in during practice shows on the field on Saturdays that's why Bama is so good year after year after year because his players knows what work ethic is in order to make it to the next level to make it to the NFL you better put the work in or else you're not going to get there and you're not going to win no championship and you will not play because you're not putting the work in to make yourself better to make urself great that's what it's all about PERIOD !!!
I’m an Oklahoma fan. Nick Saban isn’t one of the best. He’s _The best._ *EVER.* objectively and it’s not even close. Followed by Bill Synder. If you can win in Manhattan Kansas, you can win anywhere. Barry Switzer was the greatest recruiter ever, followed by Ed Orgeron. Dabo Swinney is the best man to ever coach, if that makes sense And everyone hates Urban Meyer.
I like it. I agree with it. I've been on here saying for a while now that people have to quit calling these college student-athletes "kids". They're not kids they're adults. If you're old enough to join the military and die in the defense of your country, you're not a kid. Nick laid out the truth for these young men. They can either handle it or they can't, but he can't baby them like they're 10-year-olds. Major D-1 football is grown-ass man business, not kid business. I love it when coaches give players "the real" and don't worry about trying to protect their fragile psyche. That needs to start from a young age. In sports, a person should EARN their playing time. Nothing should be given. If you're not willing to earn it or you can't handle someone telling you what you're doing isn't cutting the mustard, then you shouldn't be out there in the first place! Period!
I can only say one thing: Thank you, Coach Saban. This is why we love you. Coach always tell it like it is. Nothing’s glossed over, there’s never an “oh well.” Just plain facts. Things are what they are. Nothing, but NOTHING is a given (yes, there’s a Saban message in the word ‘given.’). It is what it is. Truth wins out, and the guys who fail to find that truth - well, we see what that result is. We’ve seen non starters win before with Saban. We did not see non starters do that this time. Now, wipe that egg off those faces. Roll Tide 🐘🏈🐘🏈🐘🏈🐘 Thank you, JP!
He speaks the truth #19 played worse then my 11yr old son. Agiye Hall was chirping and dropped 2 passes that hit him dead in the hands. Idk who the last person is. that A&M has become both a thorn and a coaching resource to the Alabama players. In 2011, Johnny Football and A&M went into Tuscaloosa beat them for their only loss, but still won the BCS Championship. Coach Saban replayed that game in their weight room until the season to remind his players. This year, A&M won on a Walk Off field goal with a backup quarterback. Again, it served as another "wake up" call to the current Alabama players.
Alabama almost won the title anyway. Depth of blue-chips are how Georgia and Alabama stay pretty great every year. Georgia QB issues prevent more 1-loss seasons usually.
I heard a guy tell his daughter one time, "You show me on your birth certificate where it says, life will be fair, and THEN I'll buy you a car for graduating High School." One of the best lines EVER.
I think Saban's honesty is right on the money, you have got to get better the longer you play, and if your not playing much, then you really have to push yourself to the point of making sure if you have all the talent, then you have to make sure you get every bit of the technique and advice from the coaches',then when your numbers called you step in and make those plays your are supposed to make, and some that people are in awe that you made, but one thing about talent in can't do,is out play preparation and doing the work and pushing past the point regularly! I attended a high school in N.Florida,in the late 80's until 90 won 4 state Championships in a row, No one had ever won 4 in a row,and Couple of bouces of the ball and the first really good team would have made it 5,because they had it too, those teams were loaded with talent, but they also won every game that they met equally good teams in the 3rd or 4th quarter, when the other teams started tiring and running out of gas,We weren't even breathing hard, and that's a fact!!! And the class of 86 should have won the first one but they just hadn't been under the system long enough,Just check out The Suwannee Bulldogs from 87 to 90,there was a lot of real talent on those teams!!! Now coaches can't have Summer camp and do that kind of stuff or the little people with feelings would freak, anyway Saban will be fine!
Coach Saban can do this because it’s a challenge to the player. If the kid doesn’t respond in a positive way to it he’s gone. Alabama is bringing in 4-5 4 or 5 star receivers this fall so Saban doesn’t need them. These young receivers need Alabama.
That’s what people miss more than anything. “Are you gonna pout because it isn’t you’re time yet, or are you gonna prepare like it is your time and when the opportunity arises you full advantage of it!”
Anyone saying this is whining is dumb, we've seen this before. Saban "whined" about the spread offense and the RPO, then transfer portal, then NIL, etc. And every time he wasn't whining, he was warning us that he was about to use it to keep dominating. This isn't making excuses for the natty, this is him sending a very clear message to current and future Bama players: buy in or get out.
@@markfennell1604 man STFU...nobody whining when the facts alone prove his point...Like WR Aygie Hall was complaining all season long on social media about playing time and catches and when came time of when he got what he complained about, *HE FAILED*

Let's stop treating these college players like kids, they are young adults. Collegiate sports is all about wins and loses. Those players were called out in a constructive manner in a controlled environment. How would you talk to a nineteen or twenty year old combat veteran?
The fact that this is even an issue shows how wimpy America is now. This is normal life, human nature, and a lesson for everyone. It isn't just the 3 players who blew an opportunity, it is all the people upset they were held accountable for their actions, which is inevitable whether you like it or not, who are soft as well.
Saban is a teacher, he is a leader, he is a mentor and he is a motivator. Everything he does is calculated. So for those who said he was complaining or making excuses still does not know how Saban works or what type of man he is. He is a rare breed.
Saban was never in “total” control of his team last season. If you listened, and between the lines of his press statements, the team didn’t have the same focus and have the unity of “team”. Especially telling, after one of the early season games’ post conference Saban said to the effect, he (and the coaching staff) need to convince the players to work harder in practices to build strength and conditioning not during the games. The conservation of strength and stamina during the week to better perform on the field. This was a VERY TELLING comment. Nobody picked-up on this. I was labeled a “flamer” and a “hater” for posting and calling out the “spoiled brats” the Bama team was, SPOILED BRATS.
And in addition to all that you said Josh (Brilliance… btw). You can bet that he had already said and pointed out the exact same thing (individually) to all 3 of those players. He really didn’t need that venue to “point them out”… he already did that to them each individually. The key word for Saban has always been (for decades)‘Process’… “Trust in the Process”. Like someone says “You can lead a Horse to water, but it’s up to them to drink it. Furthermore, Saban is also a big student of ‘Psychology’, he’s been studying it since his days at Michigan St, say’s that it’s one of the major keys to his success as a HC. Great work Josh…
They're not children anymore, they came to learn and have been given a chance to possibly go pro or to get a great education. If they whine about it then leave or do what they need to do to prepare themselves better.
Saban should have taken responsibility for those players not being ready. Bama has better players than most teams, it's his responsibility to train them. If they aren't ready, don't blame them. That's his job to get them ready. BTW Georgia was playing more backups than Bama.
Yup but no one wants to bring that up. Does Saban ever publicly go, “hey guys I fucked up, I need to be better?” Lol nope! He created this culture and now he’s publicly pointing fingers at teenagers bc they didn’t get him another ring. Fucking. Joke. Yeah, Saban, bc these kids are really supposed to know anything else when for the last 2 years all you told them was about your programs accolades, how much money they could make and how special they are.
He's not callin anyone out, he's making a point. A point he makes daily. Rest assured, he told the players before he made the speech. Great lesson to be learned.
Agyie Hall-Treshon Holden-Jacorey Brooks 3 guys who will be competing for starting jobs in 2022. Brooks and Holden could not get open more than 5 years down field. Hall had 3 big drops.
If you don’t like that message, take a hike! You only play 11 players on the field at a time. Not everyone can be a starter. Serious injuries happen. Take it from just about any program. You NEED to be ready when your name is called. That isn’t new advice. I’m sure all championship caliber coaches say it all the time. I know Jimbo does. Saban definitely has. Hell he’s had backup qb’s win championships. Let it be a lesson to the players watching waiting for their moment.
Because it happened before and the earlier you understand the process and bought into it, the greater you'll become. The 3 Freshmen were Judy, Ruggs, and Smitty. Tua was and Leatherwood were also Freshmen and got thrown in the fire and they danced with the Fire! Those Freshmen were all 1st RD picks. The Process Works!
Saban did not call out any names, he just said he had three players that did not play to their potential and they did not. I watched the game and when their time had come, they did not step up and do what they needed to do and it cost them a national championship. The three players know who they are and they might not get another shot, so they shot themselves in the foot by not performing as they should have! Saban teaches them to stay focused and ready at all times.
Saban was right. Years ago I was a starting Linebacker in HS. WE won the state championship two times. By the time the 4th quarter came around our coach had 9th graders in as linebackers in many games because we were ahead so much. These guys were on average 2 years younger and were smaller because of it. They got their butts hit hard many times. Many mistakes were made that were pointed out that next week by the coach. This was because they did not work as hard as we starters. I do question the location Saban chose to call out those 3 players. As a football player, I never wanted our dirty laundry aired outside the locker room. I can see the lessons that can come from this. AND I agree. Still stay general with the comments in public.
The Truth Hurts. Saban wants people like Bryant wanted. People who give their all whether at practice or a game. Bryant took people who had talent but was more concerned with them giving their all. Saban is the same, the only difference is he gets way more talent. This why Alabama has and will be successful.
Saban was 100% correct. Those players are now gone because they were not doing what they needed to do in order to advance their talent. It's all about competition!!
In my opinion, this was the real difference between UGA and Bama this year. Bama had the best players at Qb and Wr, but some of them got hurt. UGA had similar caliber WRs, but they got hurt earlier. Whether out of necessity or design, UGA spread the ball around a lot more than Bama throughout the year. I don’t have the exact stats in front of me, but UGA WRs get like half the catches Bama does, which is one of the reason Burton is leaving. But, this allowed players like Brock Bowers and AD Mitchell to get their time to shine, and I’d say they took it.
It’s time to get “off” the “best players” bit and concentrate on the “best team.” TEAM, is the sum of all players. Get off…the best players shit. "BEST TEAM" this is a TEAM sport. F the individual shit.
Hay, I don't know about you but he spoke "gospel truth". Now a days you have young men specifically, who are 'ME' driven. And when the opportunities come they're not able to seize the moment because they didn't grind and focus on, next man up team concept mentally.
The fact is. He is the ultimate coach. No coach with the exception of " Paul Bear Bryant " is the best coach of all time in college football. Hands down no question. Alabama has 18 national championships. Now when anyone can even come close can just shut the hell up. Year in Year out they are the ultimate program than anyone in college football.
Every other coach in the late stages of their career, especially after years of reasonable success, say "F*ck it, I've done enough," and let the assistants take over. Saban still cares.
I knew the problems Bama faced this year when Saban publicly scolded Billingsley in the same fashion. I knew doing that early in the season showed he had serious concerns with player buy-in ( I thought I may concern more than just one player). He had a similar problem in 2018 ( I think I have the year right) I believe. It felt to me like he had learned that lesson and wanted to try and get ahead of the problem this past year. It doesn't take many players not buying in to sink a team.
Yes. Saban was never in “total” control of his team last season. If you listened, and between the lines of his press statements, the team didn’t have the same focus and have the unity of “team”. Especially telling, after one of the early season games’ post conference Saban said to the effect, he (and the coaching staff) need to convince the players to work harder in the practices to build strength and conditioning not during the games. The players believe conservation of strength and stamina during the week to better perform on the field. This was a VERY TELLING comment. Nobody picked-up on this. I was labeled a “flamer” and a “hater” for posting and calling out the “spoiled brats” the Bama team was, BRATS. The bottom line, Bama players didn’t have the heart of a champion, they were spoiled brats believing they were the deserving and the “natty” is theirs by virtue of being Bama.
absolutely. I do believe it came mostly down to the 3 players. I have personally seen a single disgruntled player kill a locker room. To have 3 disgruntled players can certainly be disastrous. Saban definitely deserves credit for the ability to hold the team together well enough to make a title appearance. I find it funny that people think staying at the top is easier than getting there. Personally, I believe it is much harder because of the increased talent and egos as Josh pointed out. Having too much talent is a problem for the coaching staff, even though it's a problem they all wish for.
@@mikehorton8695 That's what Josh has said about Clemson last year. The top of the mountain causes a whole different set of problems than the climb, and Dabo is learning that he built a team to make the climb but it's gonna fall apart if he doesn't adjust.
Younger generation gets upset when they have to sit and wait. Most think they are better then they are and don't realize the opportunity to sit back and learn from veterans is a massive blessing. Only going to make them better.
I have to call BS. He doesn’t get to use the excuse of having injuries considering the fact that he gets the top players year in and year out. His backups would be starting for the teams they’re playing against 90% of the time. Lastly, he may want to avoid throwing guys under the bus since he’s the Goat because he always has the best players. These new age kids aren’t going to take too kindly to being called out and will simply go elsewhere.
Georgia gets top recruits just like Alabama does. The number two are not going to dominate Georgia’s number ones. Georgia’s number ones on the defensive side were elite Alabama lost both of their starting receivers. That makes a difference( especially when Willaims tore into the Georgia secondary in the first game and was injured on a 40 yard play which affects the secondary) Imagine both Waddle and Smith being injured. I highly doubt they would have beat Ohio State.
@@michaelhines4600 Georgia’s secondary was their weakness all year. Again, Saban has run away in the recruiting rankings for the last decade so I don’t want to hear anything about injuries. Teams they’ve beaten over the years had key players go down too.
This was definitely a shot at jaheel billingsley, I really liked him and wanted to see him grow, I think he could be the next Kyle pitts but he could never step up in game time
I don't like it when coaches point fingers and make excuses. Just own it Coach Saban. When Coach Bowden got beat by Florida in 97 what did he say? He said florida beat us in all phases of the game. A classy response. Just own it nick.
Nick hit it head on the head! Ruggs, Judy, and Smitty took advantage of their opportunity in their national championship game. Najee ball'd out too! Life is all about staying ready so you want have to get ready!
Like usual, Saban is not only right, but he was also right to say it. Anyone who had a problem with what he said is that same type of person he's talking about.
Gonna show this to my soccer team. They need this after complaining about sitting on the bench as HS freshman with little experience / discipline for the sport and level needed to be successful.
Saban was on point. However….. Georgia was just flat out hungry. They got embarrassed in the SEC title game and they came back with a serious axe to grind. Bama wasn’t ready to bleed for four quarters.
Saban Is simply teaching and coaching. He's dead on. The guys they needed at that moment were not ready. He obviously sees how these guys worked all year and it showed when time was called
This is so click bait. Saban was right. Now I didn't know the context behind the players but what he says is right: you should do the right things to get ready to create value for yourself and make the most of every opportunity. These are what is called life lessons. I wholeheartedly agree.
Here’s is the most important word I learned as a young leader in the Army. PREPARE. You must PREPARE for the big dance (as one Sergeant Major put it). Whatever your big dance is, you must PREPARE for it. Hell, even when you are going on a weekend trip, you must prepare to do so. People are not looking at the big picture of what type of message Coach Saban is saying. They are looking at it from a standpoint that he is calling out players. However, he is simply saying that if you do not PREPARE for the big dance, you will fail. If you do not buy into the PROCESS, you will fail. If you do not take responsibility for your actions/behavior, you will fail. The poor play of those players makes it easier for the coaching staff to minimize their opportunities. As we all saw, they can’t be trusted to go out and do their jobs while creating good value for their athletic portfolio for NFL teams to see. I trust Coach Saban and the messages he sends to his team and college football. I believe he has earned that right simply because of the success Alabama football has accomplished since 2007. If any of you are not meeting expectations and are not being held accountable, your leadership has failed. That same leader has lost their power base as a leader. Coach Saban is saying, I will not lose my power base as a leader because I will hold you accountable. He will come at it in different ways to make you understand the PROCESS. If you can’t buy into the PROCESS and fail to PREPARE for the big dance (whatever it is), you will find yourself in the transfer portal or on the sideline watching someone else taking advantage of an opportunity that you had on the biggest stage in college football. Simply put, what did you want or wanted to do but didn’t get it because you failed to properly PREPARE yourself for it? Who should you be mad at? The decision-maker or yourself. I appreciate your content, Josh. Keep it coming. Roll Tide!!!!
I once talked with a former HCCMS in Hamilton, GA student that was playing for Alabama and Coach Saban years ago, and I asked him if Coach Saban was as mean in practice as he appeared to be on the sidelines, and he told me, “Mr. Whatley, with that staff, you’re there to do a job. It’s a business. There’s not a coach on the staff that’s there to be your friend.” In reality, that’s the way it is in most occupations in the adult world. Sometimes the truth hurts. You either improve in what you do, or someone else will do it. Thanks Josh. I really enjoy your podcasts. Keep up the great work.
As a Georgia fan this strikes a familiar chord to me. A lot of Georgia fans, including myself, were clamoring for Kirby to start JT Daniels ahead of Stetson Bennett all season, JT looked a lot more like the prototypical QB and seemed to have better arm talent than Bennett. But Kirby and the Offensive staff saw something in Stetson that they didn't see in JT. What he lacked in talent he had in competitive drive and perseverance and in the big moment in the Natty he came through. That drive to constantly improve and be prepared for the moment makes a huge difference. It's not always about talent.
Every Bama star in the league had to wait. EVEN King Henry waited behind two backs. Hell Josh Jacobs of Oakland was a 3rd string rb and when he got his chance he shined and became a 1st round pick OVER starting rb at that time Damien Harris who know runs for the Patriots & who was a 2nd rounder.
Smith najee tua hurts Mac Jones just look at Bama s history under Coach Saban. You wait for your opportunity to start and show up and show out. It's earned not given
Or they can transfer because Most NFL Stars come from other schools.. Cooper Kupp, Big Ben, Arron Rodgers, Brady, Bosa, Deebo, lol the list goes on and on from current players to past players. You don't need to go to Bama to be a star, because a lot of the Bama players flame out in the League as quiet as it's kept.

@@blackout07blue Dude shut up and move on, you have no input here

Idk. If Alabama were better, then their backups would be better, but they weren’t. Instead, Georgia won with a walk-on QB, freshmen receivers and their own injuries.

Saban was right and gave a great lesson to the coaches.
Yep. And Saban and staff knows EVERY player that puts in the extra time and effort. Every. Single. One.
That is precisely what the 2019 LSU WR group did. Look at what they are doing in the NFL. Hard work pays off.

Period!

that A&M has become both a thorn and a coaching resource to the Alabama players.
Saban blamed his WRs and DBs for Alabama’s loss to Georgia. I’m sure he’s full of excuses for his loss to A&M’s backup QB.
Alabama almost won the title anyway. Depth of blue-chips are how Georgia and Alabama stay pretty great every year. Georgia QB issues prevent more 1-loss seasons usually.

First, the “spoiled brats”. Second, the team lost the “hunger” and the “drive” believing the “natty” is theirs by right.
That is why they are backups and not starters.
Expert motivator. Tuscaloosa will come back with a vengeance starting this Labor Day Weekend.
I love it and I am a Georgia fan
He is more than a coach!
Isn’t agiye hall still there?
This is just another Example of why Nick is the G.O.A.T. he knows exactly what he's doin, that W.R. Room will be on Fire for Spring. ROLL TIDE! 🐘
Hay, I don't know about you but he spoke "gospel truth". Now a days you have young men specifically, who are 'ME' driven. And when the opportunities come they're not able to seize the moment because they didn't grind and focus on, next man up team concept mentally.
I like what was presented and I hope this is what Bryan Hardin is doing at Auburn
Look at how many receivers he took this signing day 😂
Exactly he basically pushed em out 2 of the 3 are gone already.
Georgia’s number ones on the defensive side were elite
Alabama lost both of their starting receivers.
This was definitely a shot at jaheel billingsley, I really liked him and wanted to see him grow, I think he could be the next Kyle pitts but he could never step up in game time
Clem alum, but Saban is da man. Started listening via Spotify, is Spotify or TH-cam more financially better for 247?
Whatever works best for you works best for us my friend. - JP
To quote an awesome individual everybody wants to be a beast until it's time to do what beasts do "love the show Josh keep up the good work
I’m A Dawg fan. But he’s absolutely right. The way he explained it and they didn’t show up when given the chance, Tua sure did.
I don't like it when coaches point fingers and make excuses. Just own it Coach Saban. When Coach Bowden got beat by Florida in 97 what did he say? He said florida beat us in all phases of the game. A classy response. Just own it nick.
Some coaches can't take Humble Pie. They only know how to dish it out.
Once again, Josh educates us while speaking the truth.
This speech right here is why Saban is the GOAT
Moral of the story here is, don't be a Jahleel Billingsly.
The first name that popped into my head when he started talking.
Or agiye hall
Gonna show this to my soccer team.
They need this after complaining about sitting on the bench as HS freshman with little experience / discipline for the sport and level needed to be successful.
WHEW.... Hit the nail on the head.
Saban was on point. However…..
Georgia was just flat out hungry. They got embarrassed in the SEC title game and they came back with a serious axe to grind. Bama wasn’t ready to bleed for four quarters.
Nah Georgia didn’t give a f about the SECCG because they knew they were in regardless
Losing your starting recievers didn't help either.
So sad that this generation is all about entitlement. Their headed for disappointment and may never realize full potential.
Right On
Oh plz. You sound like the principal from the breakfast club. Kids don’t change, circumstances do.
Josh is always spot on!! This is why i love this show!!!
He right. Making a point. Grind be at your best to Tom advantage of a opportunity. Lesson for football and life.
Great job
Saben is on point like this podcast is !!!!
Whatever your big dance is,
you must PREPARE for it.
Who recruited and developed these bums......
NICK SABAN!!!!
ACCOUNTABILITY starts at the top buddy.!!
It's not always about talent.
thats facts could not agree more.
JP. This is a motivational speech. 👏 you delivered you part better than Saban did.
@@49erLA this is about Saban and Alabama right? Not Miami of Ohio, Michigan, Ohio St, and etc.. but not as many as other school as quiet as it’s kept
