I was practically raised in that park. Played tennis, basketball, football, played on the playground, sledded down the hill on snowy days. We even Rock hopped across the little Gwynns falls for hours. We called the waterway 'the poluted'. Even went to summer camp at the little building close to the tennis courts. The park was even the spot to go drink a 40 or smoke in my teen years. #memories
You didn't mention the creek that runs through the park between two huge storm sewer tunnels. The first tunnel starts somewhere near West Coldspring and empties into the park right after Liberty Heights Ave near the water pump station. The creek then flows above ground through the park and then goes into a second tunnel under Grynns Falls Parkway at the bottom end of the park. That second tunnel goes from the bottom part of the park and flows all the way to the Carroll Park section of the Gwynns Falls river. I think the name of the creek is Little Gwynns Falls or Upper Gwynns Falls or some like that. I've actually walked through the two sewer tunnels a few times. They're long tunnels.
Thank you.

I forgot to mention I physically walked thru that park daily in my youth. My home was on one side and my grade school was on the other. (PS #60)
In this video, at the 1:50 mark, there is a building beyond the trees in the background. What is that building?

Hi John: I think the Brooklyn team is pronounced “su-PERB-bas”. I doubt that they were “superb”, though.
