I have been in Infor LN/Baan space for around 28 years and have seen product evolved. It seems to be matured and can compete with SAP, Oracle, D365. In manufacturing space it seems to have enough functionalities.
We are a healthcare facility and we are using Odoo for the CRM module and QB for the accounting and finance module. Now we are checking if we can change our acctg/finance system to Netsuite. Do you think It's a good idea? Why not utilize Odoo for all modules? What are the pros and cons?
We want to implement an erp system, and im currently looking at several. Our company does sales in the automotive industry, we also have a mining department, real estate and soon a security company. What erp would you recommend for this? So in short we would want a erp that is strong in finance, inventory, sales, purchase, eventually in HR as well... looking forward to your answer
Don't sleep on Odoo! Its affordability and open-source nature shouldn't fool you - it's incredibly robust. Odoo's modular architecture allows for unlimited scalability and its well-defined database schema supports growth. ERPs with multiple solutions for different business sizes - it often indicates poor architecture. From my experience working with SAP, being Microsoft certified, and leading multiple implementations, I can confidently say Odoo is a top contender. Right implementation team is still the key. My opinion.
We stated a proceess to change our ERP, We are analizing EPICOR, Oracle net suite, infor, SAP and MS D365, Our core operation is the manufacturing, what is your opinion regarding D365 in production floor control, advance production scheduling, demand driver MRP?

From a career perspective if Infor LN continued to grow it may offer an excellent alternative as currently the supply is been limited.

I'm watching you with interest. Success.
I think the future will be for any opensource ERP solution like ODOO, maybe it will take another 5-8 years for all opensource solutions to shout out.
