Haters gonna hate. I loved the video and like the Diresta style. Nothing wrong with using it. I prefer it to some cheesy sound track and voice-over that is talking us through the obvious of what is going on visually. Keep up the great work!
Not all Festool tools are good. I have a stack of Festool tools and 2 of them aren't up to snuff. I sold the kapex and had to repair my OF1400 myself as the Festool repair facility in Indiana was unable to fix it.
I would like to know more about your portable, adjustable table-saw horses? Thing a meggie Only seen them one other time and I’m getting older and like for things to be portable now a days. Thank you and I loved your video 👍🏼
Hello! My husband looks at your videos with great enthusiasm. and I admit to fancy fanatics. Unfortunately, I love her so much, but I can not even buy another used festool brand picike clamp. It honors your work, joy, and skill. I was thinking of staring at Christmas with a nice thing: I'd like to ask you for an autógram with a festoolous greetings: my husband's name is Gábor. please tell me that he would do that favor, because if not because of the proximity of Christmas I would think otherwise. Welcome to your wife's fan
Sanding paper on edgeband. It will get dirty soon and look terrible, unless you sand it down to 800 and polish it. Just use the router also on the corners. Works great.
For only $10,000 in tools you, too, can make that bookshelf the same way. Or spend $100 on some really nice wood and make it using MUCH cheaper tools with a MUCH better result.
No where does the video claim it's a diy. It's to show a bookshelf built with festool. Yes festool is way to expensive for diy work but that's not what they where made for. They are made to be used every day in a professional environment.
I don't understand why everyone rags on the cost of the Festool vs other products. It's not that big of a deal is it really? You want and can afford, great, you don't want or can't afford, no biggie. There are great tools for every budget and every need out there. As far as better?? I don't know about that - very objective. I think it his finished piece looked great but I may be wrong of course. At any rate, I have a few Festool machines, and some Dewalt, and some Bosch and some etc etc. Whatever works, but I don't have anything by Festool that I regret for one second. Every time I use anything from them my result is great as is with other tools when used as intended.
Festool are nice but they are definitely to expensive, you can get the same quality for half, maybe not adjustment ease or their #1dust collection though.
@@austinmarius850 What can you say? People are jealous and like to complain. They should be happy that we have a choice from Harbor Freight to Festool and everything in between. Imagine if the government designed and manufactured woodworking tools. We'd still be using hand saws and wooden block planes for everything.
for those who asked where to get the edge banding. I ordered this from Mac Lean in the Netherlands, here is a link www.kantenband.com but every store that deals with furniture hardware should be able to order next to the more usual colors like white and brown also get any colour. I had a sample box including already 100 shades of green.
I edgeband about 600 4x10' sheets every year. I have a lot of festool, so I decided to buy the coturo. Very bad mistake! I called festool usa and they told me the tool was more for 2 and 3 mil edgebanding and that it's more prevalent in Europe. I think the glue pucks are a horrible idea. Looks like they took the glue from a holzer edgebander and cut it up. The machine max speed is 4mpm. (slow) So I returned it and I was able to buy two virutex peb-250 edgebanders. My shop now has 3 X the speed then the festool and it does 0.40mil edgebanding.

Interesting video Marcel. Thanks for showing it. What was your impression of the Conturo? Also, what brand and model was your work table? That was very interesting as well. Thanks again for the video. Also what area do you live in? Ron
Darn! Should have read the description earlier. I just spent 6 hours speeding the audio up, slowing down and playing it backwards. And then I read that there is no hidden content. :-s
what bases did you use with the mfk700. I've just picked up the mfk700 set but now thinking I need that base with the black plastic attachment. Think they call it the basic ? you seem to use that one and the horizontal base ?
Would have loved to watched, but the sound was too horrible. I turned sound off, but don’t know when you are talking. Please consider muting your sound when you speed the video up.
The one thing you can guarantee with Festool. They are way over priced. You can achieve the same results far cheaper with tools just as good but priced realistically. Co-Matic/Le-Matic say no more
Nobody is going to want to read a book when you have to take all of them out to get to the one you want! And... I dont want to beat a dead horse but... The high speed chipmunk voice?! REALLY??!!
And no one is complaining over Diresta speed videos. I enjoyed watching!

That was so cool the edge bender was nice
He has plenty of festool, awesome brand, cheers.
Festool & a skilled worker...You get Amazing results...God Do I Love Festool Tools.. 😀👍
Skilled workers and any tools you get amazing work. Tools are operated not operators.

Nice job
First time I've seen this tool. Impressive

stuff too!
This is superb 100% 👍🏼
Love the bench. What's the make. Thanks in advance. Great video Love festool tools.
Not sure, but Kreg makes these benches too at least. Costly though
Hi Marcel, where did you get this ingenious bucks, clean work 😀👍
Thanks for the explanation, what kind of wood is used?
What are those horses/ work table?????
That table is really cool.
Now l need the book located in the middle 🤪🤪🤪🤪
Wish you vould still get those walko workbenches..
Hey, interesting video. I wonder what table you are using. Could you please provide me some information about it. That would be very nice .Thanks
Michael Sauer , Me too. The brand is Walko. Check out walko.nl
1k each mind
Interesting video Marcel. Thanks for showing it. What was your impression of the Conturo?
Also, what brand and model was your work table? That was very interesting as well. Thanks again for the video. Also what area do you live in?
Ron
I'm more interested in the stand, lol
Could you please show it in a video? It’s amazing

Very much like you work... But every time i hope again you'll start using some music on your video's :) (Man that speed radio is annoying :)
+RoboCNC Frees- & Graveerwerk That's all i could think about the whole video
Is this 3 mm banding?? If so, impressive that the guillotine can cut it.
Walko werkbank
What kind of Workbench is this please tell me looks very interesting
That speed talk is horrible couldn't make it through
Airborne Mik
I agree
Agreed. Really silly.
So if you wanna take out the book in the middle...how?
good question, but I have plenty of these in my bookshelf - I wrote them - so this is a display
what bases did you use with the mfk700. I've just picked up the mfk700 set but now thinking I need that base with the black plastic attachment. Think they call it the basic ? you seem to use that one and the horizontal base ?
What’s that platform your working on, looks amazing, are they available to acquire 👌🏻
its a walko - unfortunately they stopped and are no longer available 😩
Marcel Bilow thanks for the reply 😁
Which trimmer are you using kindly mention model and which bits you are using in your router
Great job but I thought after all your hard work you would have gone with hidden fixings
what kind of table or saw horses are those that he's using?
its a Walko workbench, unfortunately not available anymore
does the green plastic come in all types of colors?
Did you precut your books as well? 😂
Where did you find the Green Edge band??
What web site???
try here www.ostermann.eu/en
There's a lot of lime green in that shop 😳
So i would need $20,000. Dollars worth of festool tools to make an $80 book shelf?
don't forget to write 10 books also !
WHERE CAN YOU PURCHASE THE FESTOOL GREEN EDGE BANDING IN THE USA
I am pretty sure every edge banding supplier have 50 shades of green ...
Can anyone please tell me the brand of work horses mft he is using?
Mitre saw blade deflection looks worrying. Is that using a Precisio?
Michael Lazarou I skipped through the video because the high speed talking was atrocious but that would explain why the mitres looked so bad.
That’s the shittest end product I have seen in a long time. Using about £3k worth of equipment you get that?
I wouldn’t go that far. I not a fan of the colour but it’s not a bad display price for a Comercial space
Totally agree. Talk about over engineered lipstick on a pig!
Got enough festool tools there matey?
So if I want a book IV to slide out all the other books first and then slide them back in ? Very bad design
its a Walko workbench, dutch product.
How do I buy one?It is the ultimate cutting table can I build one?
if placing Walko into google did not work for you...try to click here www.walko.nl
If you ever find the time to review it :)
Who makes your work table.brand name & model.thanks.
WALKO 4 Professional Frame
Are all books the same height and thickness... ?
What’s the brand of your stand?
its called WALKO as I have answered many many times before, here in the comments - the company isn't anymore ...as so the best workbench there was ...
Walko benches..🙂🙂🙂

what kind of table are you using?
its a walko workbench
All of that for a bookshelf. Holy shit. Give me a call I've got a bridge I want to sell you
Do you like Festool?
Would have loved to watched, but the sound was too horrible. I turned sound off, but don’t know when you are talking. Please consider muting your sound when you speed the video up.
Yet another TH-cam festool junkie (I need a fix!) Cool book shelf
Good idea, but only if you have 10 books and don´t read them :D
Seems over complicated, I did this process with an old steam iron and a Stanley knife in wood shop
Old steam iron and Stanley knife for 2mm ads... Please show me how to do it. :D
(well, do not need Festool just a router, but with iron.... )
...too 'Jetsons'for me,..i prefer my tools on the lo-tech 'Flintstone'side, lol
Festool edge bander available in india
Total fail: The nail gun was not a Festool ;-)
My thoughts exactly. My heart sank....
Just fill the shelf with festering stool catalogs
looks like wrigleys green chewing gum
Great vide whit audio off..
So I take it, you were a drug dealer before Carpenter? Nice work.
