I used your white/fluorescent "undershade" tip on the last red cloak I painted and really liked the results. Such an easy way to make it pop on the table.

The point where you say "We are now going to use some White/Blue", my brain has the sort of needle-skip "Whaatt?" moment, but it really does work well with the layers afterwards!
Haha I had the same reaction! But after watching so many of Vinces videos Ive learned that he rarely ever uses true white. Still caught me off guard though.
I love your tutorials. But seeing them all put together while painting a random figure helps a lot. Bringing it all together.

That red over fluo-red technique is wonderful. I have those fluo paints and was wondering how to use some of them effectively.
Im in the same camp as @TerrierHalo. When you started painting this model I wasn’t onboard with the massive hat. That said, Vince knocks another one out of the park!! Big goofy headdress looks as amazing as the rest of the model!
Love this sculpt! The pose is pretty unique and something I see very often from GW.
After watching uncle Adam's vid the line of his- "Would you like an undead horde? How would you like to manage them?" And now I keep thinking of a necromancer Vogon.

Two skirmish games under my belt using monster master and boy I feel I jumped in at the deep end. Maybe I should have picked different powers 😂.

Purple skin for necromancers/vampires looks pretty cool. This has given me inspiration for my yet unpainted Crimson Court models.

Downloaded and printed Deth Wizards last night myself. Already dug out a pile of Skeletons, Zombies, mummies a few vampires and vampire spawn. Ordered a few ghosts, spectres, banshees.
I've got to make an undead evil pope necromancer for this game.
Vince, your video once again taught me a LOT, thank you for sharing your recipes. Time to order some bronze pigment and start shading TMM with normal paints instead of inks, I love your gold!
I hope that you'll one day have a project where you paint very pale skin in a cool/colder setting, so that I can "pick your brain" when it comes to painting something like that!

I found some awesome paper minis to play this awesome game with online. Just have staples print them or print them yourself!
I did this for a long time with DND. Would go buy bargain magic cards and cut the art out.
Thanks Vince. Any thoughts of oil washes over your gold to circumvent the ink beading?
It's not going to do too much with those large flat areas, but you could use some oils over top just for the shading and feather/subtract. That would make it very easy.

Hi Vince! At 11:30 why a white-blue rather than a white-red or just a straight white as an undercoat before applying the fluro pink?
I wanted a little coolness to the red. Setting the tone underneath.
Sidebar: You mentioned the Atom Paints. I assume these are the AMMO with Big Child collaboration? Do you think the paint market might be getting saturated? I know outside of those, Mind Works (I belive) is working with Brom to do some Heavy Bdy Artist Acrylics in tubes. This doesn't count various Kickstarters for things like TTC Paints (Delivered) Two Thin Coats (Third Kickstarter about to be delivered), Broken Anvil (Supposedly to be delivered soon), the Ultra ones (I didn't back that one), another Kimeria KS for Inks, etc...
It absolutely is getting quite saturated, on one hand, an embarassment of riches. On the other hand, it can be challenging.
@@VinceVenturella On one hand, I get it. Companies see people buying paint. Sometimes spending a lot of money on it. Some of these have been very successful kickstarters.
Even Scale75 is running a new one. Honestly shocked that Games Workshop hasn't taken this time to come out with a new linen to go with the new AoS edition.
I'll note that from the users side, there are always people coming into the hobby. Two Thin Coats might be the new 'intro' pack to some people.
But man, it does seem a crowded field. It can also be annoying when watching reviews. "Yes, every paint is the best." Like no man, every paint can't be the best. Although most of the paints these days are leagues above the old ones.
Waiting for the day that Vince does something crazy and just leaves it to see how far he can pull us...
Hey Vince I have a question for you and I don’t expect an explanation from you, but I received a Vandorendra model from reaper as a gift from my wife, I have never painted snake scales or nipples before. I don’t paint risqué models but this is a unique moment to learn a new skill, how do you paint your snake skins first and foremost, second and last most how do you paint nipples? It’s a natural thing but I still feel very awkward asking 😅
This is going to sound a strange answer, but real life is your reference for both. Snakes have amazing patterns, just pick one you want and go for it. Nipples are basically the same as lips, just rosier flesh tones.

There isn't really much to say. If you have the rules it's really straight forward, just pick a few guys. I started with 2 skeletons, 2 archers, a vampire spawn, and a Revenant.
I’m going with 2 ghouls and 3 skeleton archers to start. I would like to see a video on the topic though.
Yeah, we covered the core mechanics and the batrep, but we are missing that, I will take that into consideration for the next game for sure. :)
Thanks. As someone who gets more excited about what force I’m building than the mechanics of the game, sharing some of those cool hooks would help convince me to get onboard. Though it looks like me play group is in on it, so it’s only a matter of time for me ;)
While one of the benefits of using a 'neutral' game like Deth is that you can use any companies models, I was surprised you used a Games Workshop one as opposed to the Knucklebones miniatures that are set up for the game.
Will you be painting up any of those? Curious how your style would work with those models as they tend to be far more 'Oldhammer' than the ultra slick modern GW models.
Sadly, we just couldn't get the KB miniature in enough time early enough for me to paint this (as I have to record these fairly far in advance for editing and such). That being said, I certainly want to paint up one of those at least as well.
