I found that he hits the last note of bass line whenever he can. He doesn't hit that when playing melodies, but when he has any finger left, he would add that spice. That is amazing.
He is the best I've seen/heard, which is a great feat considering that we have internet access to millions of musicians. 😅 But also consider that Kent Nishimura is a master guitarist that is more than capable of composing his own original music, but his doing cover songs ensures that his audience not only enjoys the music but also appreciates the level of creativity he brings. ❤🎉

He hasn't missed the base line throughout the song playing the beats and the tabs simultaneously. Unbelievable 😮. To bring the soul, emotions and the energy of the song without lyrics is such an extremely tough task. I will give my one eye to have him as my teacher.
I understand the haters, I really do. Its not that I have any doubts at all that he is playing this in front of my eyes. And its not that I think that he personally isn't this good, Its thats I genuinely didn't know that any human could be this good at playing guitar and so its reset what I thought was possible in the world and that can sometimes be an uncomfortable thought. Unforutunately the haters will deal with that discomfort by lashing out and saying its fake, when the truth is we just have to learn to be comfortable with the fact that we are witnessing something that few recognise to be truly unique and that should just make it even more special and enjoyable to watch. Having listened to the likes of Lenny Bureau, Danny Gatton, Ted Green, etc, and been totally blown away by what they could do with a guitar, I have to say that if I wasn't watching this on video, you would not have been able to convince me that this was one guy playing all this on a guitar. Absolutely incredible.
Kent Nishimura is one of the most inspiring musicians I have ever listened to. I'm not a guitar specialist so bear with me if I misuse some terms, but I am amazed how effortlessly he lets some of the notes ring while simulatenously muting the other strings, bringing out the staccato emphasis on some of the notes, following Michael Jackson's subtle vocal nuances.
Thing about this man is he stick to all of the components of the original song and execute every single part flawlessly...literally flawless. Imagine if he improvise just a lil bit? It would be out of this world

What weirds me out is how you seamlessly transition which fingers you use to keep that bass riff going. As a guitarist, when I think of a repetitive riff, the fingers I use are locked in and don't change. You seem to play the melody and then play the bass riff with whatever you have free. I don't know what magic you're using, but keep it up!
most are antisocial underachievers and delight in ruining anything beautiful. we are able to see these defects in them, and that infuriates them even more.
