Him and kano had a massive role in shaping the story because they wanted it to feel real and like the first two original seasons. They’re more than just actors in the show
This season touched on Community, addiction, parenting, loyalty, the issues with the home office, and the fact that both Sully and Dushane needed each other like brothers who fall out but still brothers
I liked the new season for the entertainment factor but honestly, the story wasn't there. Dushanes heart problem didn't exist in the final few moments of his life, the undercover officers didn't appear again and characters just went missing without any arc. I'm happy but kinda dissapointed because I loved season 1 and 2
Imagine how perfect this final season would have been if they had given the show four more episode's, used the irish more, given everybody endings, written jaq better
Dushane’s death was so sad man. He was truly between a rock and a hard spot and desperately trying to escape. Not saying he was a good guy by any means but just like Sully, circumstances made them change.
Honestly i dont care what you all say that was the perfect ending seeing Summerhouse finally go downhill and watching Dushane break and fall apart the way he did was sad but perfect of course we've never seen Dushane break and lose his mind like that hes normally the smart one and the more composed one but he lost his money which made him loose his power which caused him to loose his mind and in the end he panicked way too much and just didnt think straight couldn't even trust his own brother to help him so he had to rob him and done himself over and Sully just got what he had coming to him same with Dushane but instead of Sullys being sad and tragic like Dushanes Sullys was more violent and a karma type moment perfect ending

There is shock, sadness and anger in that life and unfortunately it does happen in real life. Really enjoyed top boy as a whole, summerhouse burning and rioting was also very akin to how Dushane and sully ended, burning, broken and the end.

Ashley and Kano will always be the goat for being in this show. It was great to hear his insights with the scenes as well. And he’s 100% right about shows having too many seasons losing what made people watch to begin with and pushing a cause that can feel forced. But they did it well here. You could feel the W of them saving Kieron from immigration. Also Jamie and Jaq were great additions loved them both.
i agree with him on the riot scenes. Its just not possible to have every actor and extra on the same level where they all look like they were genuinely effected by what led them to riot in the first place
A massive respect to everyone on that shop, actor's, writers, & directors, it was top draw from start to finish. Ashley seems like a cool guy, not sure why Kano doesn't do more acting, he took it to another level in the last 3 seasons. Right to end it on a high, before people got bored of it.

I agree with him about shows generally going on too long and becoming stale, but I think they could have done so much more with Top Boy before getting anywhere near the point of being stale. 5 seasons in a decade? Why? That being said, the final season did give off a vibe that they just wanted to be done with it though. I’ll definitely be looking out to see what work Kano is doing, brilliant stuff from him 👏🏼

Yeah I knew they were gonna do it that way the moment Stef spared him. There's 3 likely killers: 1) Jaq - Sully straight up said that she and her family will never be safe or spared + Revenge for Kieron. 2) The Irish - It was stated multiple times that the Irish gang are bigger than the small group we got to see in the show. There's no way that repercussions wouldn't come back to Sully. 3) Simon from ZT - Sully straight up violated him in front of his whole crew AND Stef told him that Sully was the one who killed Jamie (his close friend). I guess the whole message of the ending is pretty realistic, you live that kind of life and it's only a matter of time before you get smoked for your past actions. The one thing i think they forgot to use was dushanes heart disease they really used it last season and then this season they brought it back for one scene and then next episode dushane is running all around london and summerhouse.
i feel like the third season had alot of good ideas but was too short to fully flesh them out, especially with jaq stealing the drugs and lauren dying so quick, as well as the irish being so easily killed.
The show ended in a way that made nobody happy but that's the road life... it rarely ever ends well or with a happy ending, it can easily be written to have them both return, the guy who was supposed to get dushane out could have sent 2 more men immediately after not receiving a text saying he was picked up, they could find and save dushane... as for sully, he could come back with half of his face gone 😂 can happen... not that anyone wants to see it any more
Kano’s acting was on another level this season I hope he gets more roles in the future

Thanks for video I found out this man is not only a good actor he also awesome
LOVE TOPBOY, so unique. Secret season 6 where Dushane survived!!
He’d be in prison the rest of his life
@@Xpressg214 I didn't think of that...unless he got off on a technicality??
Not possible bro💀
Can’t wait to see what they both do next!
The one thing i think they forgot to use was dushanes heart disease they really used it last season and then this season they brought it back for one scene and then next episode dushane is running all around london and summerhouse.
Kano was on point 💪🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💯👊🏾keep it up my G
Sully was the best character in the show end of
I respect how they ended the show, they could’ve dragged it but it wouldn’t have been the same. Very good series.
i feel like the third season had alot of good ideas but was too short to fully flesh them out, especially with jaq stealing the drugs and lauren dying so quick, as well as the irish being so easily killed.
Yah the Irish were killed way to easier
I love both dushane and sully.. I hope to see the both in future films
The show ended in a way that made nobody happy but that's the road life... it rarely ever ends well or with a happy ending, it can easily be written to have them both return, the guy who was supposed to get dushane out could have sent 2 more men immediately after not receiving a text saying he was picked up, they could find and save dushane... as for sully, he could come back with half of his face gone 😂 can happen... not that anyone wants to see it any more
Oh please this ain't Money Heist
@@dadungrpj8314 never seen it so that's over my head
He's right about avoiding stuff like riots, it did come across as fake and tame. A bit much for the ending backdrop as well.
Definitely Jaq that shot Sully, same jacket and same walk/bop
How and where do you watch the original version, I’ve watched all the ones on Netflix.
the original are on netflix too
one of the best shows i have seen for a long time!! Gritty and realistic. well done
