Joey: “I didn’t finish my story!” Matt: “I’ll finish my story, you finish yours..” Andy: “I didn’t even GET to start a story!” Made me nearly laugh spit!
Yup! He is so funny. And where he says, "Oh no! Here we go...get ready, we'll be here for the next 45 minutes." LOL Especially when Joey and Matt start singing. But I love it. It's like I'm there in the conversation with them. I love it! 🤣
Jimmy JJ Walker said " Dyn-O-Mite!" Gary Coleman said "What chu talkin' bout, Willis?" And Fat Albert..."Hey, hey, hey"...catch phrases from early childhood. Great show today guys ♥️

Same here! I just finished watching blossom for the umpteenth time and I go back and forth to BMW episodes can never go wrong with the shows at all. And love the movies Andy was in too! Very talented men here! ❤
That fan question HAD to be strategically chosen. 😂 That was hilarious!!! 😂 Now, I've gotta go find the old episodes of (the original) "Brotherly Love" to watch. ❤
I was a little bit disappointed they could have taken the question from the fan as "if you would do another show together what would The genre be" or sothing like that.
One of the oldest catch phrases has to be Jackie Gleason's "how sweet it is!" Or bang! Zoom! Right in the kisser!" From the honeymooners. Love to the bros. & Pod!! ❤️💯!
Exactly I was thinking the same thing. That tv show was soooo ahead of it's time. People always talk about Lucy I love her But... It was Mr Gleason who was the actual blue print to many tv shows after him.
usually Joey is moderating, but this time Andy was! Lol the amount of times Joey got interrupted 😂. Every episode is so fun to watch. It all feels so familiar like I’m watching my own family as someone tries to get a point across.
Andy, you are hilarious, man! No matter how much you tried to keep the conversation on topic, it kept going left, right, and all over the place! 😅 You are a Rockstar!
Another great episode. In a previous episode, Matt talked about working with Robin Williams, but I would love to hear from Joey about working with John Candy.
Ayyyyyyyye! I can't believe Andy brought up "Jack frost". I watch that movie every year at Christmas time and when I watched the first episode of this podcast I immediately recognized Andy from that movie.
I know from 1991 to 1998, I was ages 8 to 16 at the time, I was living in Okinawa, Japan on base. We didn't get cable until 1995. I'm a huge Lawrence Brothers fan I still learned that they made a sitcom together. Earlier this year I was watching episode posted on TH-cam.
This is my favorite podcast of 2023. The viewer question at the end and y’all’s response had me DYING ☠️🤭🤣Please, don’t stop the rants. Your podcast is unlike any other. All the best and God bless 🙏🏾🙌🏽
This is one of my favorite pod cast episodes! Thank you for doing the "Whoa!!! Brings back awesome memories! Lol. Matthew, next time let Andy talk more...lol. Hope you guys have a great night!
Loved this episode can’t wait to watch it after listening to it earlier. That Friends story is so cool, never realized that. Grew up watching Blossom so it was cool to hear how Whoa! started. Thank you guys for making my Fridays even better, it really means a lot ❤️
😂😂 Who edits this? The shots of Andy getting irritated with Matt continuously going off on a tangent is hilarious!! Definitely how sibling conversations go. Loving the pod guys 💜👏🏽
Y’all should clip the part where Joey is explaining and teaching the younger brothers how to do the “whoa”. It’s a moment that should be saved forever. Especially when they all three hit it back to back.
This episode hit me in the feels and I’m not even old enough to have watched blossom when it was on air but this episode is my new favorite on the podcast. It wasn’t nearly long enough!
Me: Wow, I'm really enjoying how Matt is directly engaging with us viewers as he explains all things sitcoms. Andy: "Matt, why are you looking into the camera...???" 😂😂😂
I’ve watched every episode boys, not only do I get taken back to my childhood but you guys remind me of my brothers and I, sadly I’m Andy always trying to get a word in as the youngest with big age gaps
I know Matthew’s stories or long intros to a conclusion annoy Andy, but I love them! They do help to understand the point he’s trying to make and he’s so animated! He’s a great story teller! He’s speaking to us as if he’s one of us, and not some better then us Hollywood star, and I so appreciate that. (Love the inside stories.) He’s grounded, and relatable. Thanks guys! A fan since Gimme a Break! (And Carson.)
Honestly I was smiling and laughing what an Amazing show!! it was first time listening to y’all, love the energy and the stories. Can’t wait to watch more Hope you all have an amazing day
Loved this episode! Grew up watching y’all and I love that my sons are watching Brotherly Love episodes on TH-cam. Can’t wait for next weeks podcast!🤟🏻
That’s so cool to hear how Joey Russo helped develop Joey Tribiani! Blows my mind! I loved hearing about the origins of “Whoa!” You guys might need a red-light, green-light system or something to get your stories out in some kind of order lol Great job, fellas! Also to Hollywood - I would really want the revival of old-school sitcoms the way the brothers have described here, thanks! 👍
I couldn’t help but think how nice it is to hear them talk about their fame and experience with positivity. Sometimes I laugh at the joke that Joey brings up his fame all the time (although he def was a huge heart throb as a teen). Typically, we hear such negative stories of fame. It’s refreshing to hear them remember it so fondly. Grateful for that.
Found your podcast a few days ago and now up to date! Love the conversation, positive message and brotherly love in every episode. Thank you for coming together and sharing your thoughts and experiences. I love it!
What's funny to me is how Matt has a way of seeing things, especially on Brotherly Love, when he's turning away and walking out of a room exasperated like "geez"... It sounds like it was influenced by the same type of inflections and glottal engagements as Joe's "Whoa". Some of the funniest stuff ever in my sitcom memory.
Never watched Blossom but deffinitly a fan of Boy Meets World and Friends show. Joey from Friends is one of my favorite characters for sure. The character had a heart of gold when it came to Rachel. I deffinitly think Joey and Rachel would have balanced each other out then Ross and Rachel. His famous saying, "How you doing?" In the Boy Meets world show, I enjoyed the friendship between Eric Matthews and Jack Hunter.
I love listening to your stories about your acting careers. Things you learned, things you experienced, feelings during takes, people you met along the way and the things they taught you, etc. I love it all! This was so interesting. This has been my favorite Podcast so far. You guys are awesome!
Blossom was great (whoa!), but Boy Meets World was right at the right time for me in life and I had ZERO peers who weren't equally obsessed. Then honestly when Andy's movies came along it was a wrap. The whole family has me in an armbar lol. The best though? BROTHERLY LOVE! We got all of you and I absolutely ADORED your dynamic in the show. And the horse movie omg! This podcast is my not-so-guilty pleasure. Thanks guys!
Was having a really bad day but then I watched another one of your podcasts. Thanks for the laughter guys. You have no idea how much I needed it. Much love from Toronto🇨🇦 ❤
The Nostalgia is ridiculous. Love this. Love the insider take on the industry and the brotherly goofy moments. As far as my fav shows I can't choose one.
I would love to hear more breakdowns like this , it took me back when I used to watch all of the reruns, I had completely forgot he used to say that! WHOA!!! I remember saying it all the time. Loved todays pod!!!❤❤❤❤
I've been a fan of you guys since 1995 and one of the main reasons I became a fan was because you seemed like such good people. It has been such a treat, through this podcast, to see that you are even more awesome than I thought - fun, funny, wise, smart, warm-hearted, down-to-earth people.
Nobody said “what’s up Doc?”Bugs Bunny famous catch phrase, first one i ever learned at 4yo from watching Saturday morning cartoons in ‘86. Also, Arnold Jackson from Different Strokes “Whatchu talkin bout Willis?” 😂 but i actually rmbr watching Blossom on NBC and loving the Joey character saying “Whoa!” Joey was hilarious with his co-stars. I knew that was gonna be his catch phrase bc we kids in elementary school were saying ‘whoa’ during recess or gym 😅
Well done, interesting and entertaining! This episode is what ppl are looking for in a podcast episode that has entertainers talking about past times on sitcoms and other works! So many actors like to complain about the past, Matt hit the nail on the head.. This is like a slap in the face to fans.. especially to those who find comfort in the nostalgia and also respect and enjoyed those peices of work. And when you find them in new works that can make or break for fans to want to encourage or not. That's just the way it is in the world of social media.
Was a fun story. Really neat to hear the origin of “whoa” and all the guys do it. Also going to look up the brothers playing younger Joey. That sounds super cute. The caller question was hilarious and just seeing the way these guys retell the stories is awesome. It’s family. They lived that reality together, so can share those memories and that reality like very few others can. I also love that we are already hearing them retell stories (like THE legendary fight where they cleared the room). We are parting to be in the loop of those stories that get told again and again and again.
Just age wise, I have to say Boy Meets World as I I was little for all of them. But this episode was 🔥🔥🔥. One of my favs. Andy’s trying to keep the ship on course while Matt and Joey give us all these fun sidebars. But Andy tries one sidebar and NOPE. HAH😂. BUT forereal we need some Jack Frost stories from Andy. It’s one of my all time favorites.
Which is your favorite - Blossom, Boy Meets World, or Friends?!
Blossom
All of these. And a few more. I'm that magical age/demographic where in my (approaching) 37 yrs of age. Have had the best of several generations!!
Blossom
Boy meets world, mostly because I love jack and Eric's dynamic ❤️
Oh don't make me choose between those three! Blossom and friends joint first 😂
Joey: “I didn’t finish my story!”
Matt: “I’ll finish my story, you finish yours..”
Andy: “I didn’t even GET to start a story!”
Made me nearly laugh spit!

😂
I was just thinking to myself I wonder how far off topic they would have gotten had Andy not been there to keep them close to being on track😂
@@catherinerivers7883 it took them the whole episode to explain the origin of “whoa” 😂 that’s what makes this show great though lol
I thoroughly enjoyed the musical interlude. They all can sing...well.

Omg Andy had me dying when Matt kept getting off topic 😂😂
Yes! His deadpan look at the camera😅
He has stories for days. Matt needs his own podcast 😅 bless you Andy
The thing is he finishes the topic then Interrupts to talk a little bit more about himself hahaha
That’s why Andy keeps making faces.
Andy’s just sitting there like…GET ON WITH THE STORY!!! 😂 internal rage 😂
