Emerald, as a retired commercial carpenter & self taught lumberman, I have to say Avoid those pinch points! Your leg, between log & mill stand, should NEVER happen. No matter there were 2 others on the log. An injury is never worth the risk.
You're too young to have a gimpy leg.
Take care, keep the video's coming 😎

When the log was rolled after the first cut, I got a little worrieds.
Emerald had her leg, between the 'unbalanced log' and the frame rail.
Then I remembered that this action is not a live feed, and dad will see what happened, so all is well.
I enjoy watching this family and the work they do together. (Safely)

Watch your leg in those circumstances Emerald , that could have been dangerous although while watching I noticed that you weren't doing the turning of the log you were holding it in place and where Ken and Jade had made their adjustments to turn the log you did get your leg out of danger.

I sawed two 22 foot long 9" x 9" beams for a barn repair job on the circle mill .
I checked the beams with a string line and framing square and had to shim it on the carriage some for mill wear with a framing square and straight line and then take shave cuts to get rid of log pull , when I was done it was straight , square and less than 1/8" in run out end to end .
It didn't need to be that perfect , but since the mill didn't cut that well at long lengths I had to adjust anyway I just made it as good as possible .
Them big long logs are hard to turn by hand , every thing about them is harder to do .
Looks like a good beam for a barn or something else .
Should be pretty square and true to size if the mill bed is level and true .
That is a way easier mill to saw big long beams on as you can load it with the forks and take the beam off when done .
Another good job done , keep the sawdust flying .

you guys should almost do a "LOG CABIN" or "Cabin in the Woods" building series... with your own products of course.... those videos tend to get a lot of hits or at least I think they're cool

It is probably used as a support beam for a load bearing wall. Advantage being no wall support needed under the length of the beam. You could sit it on top of wall the length of board. Example if u had 2 rooms side by side 14 ft long you could use that beam to support ceiling and no walls under it there fore now having one room 14ft by 28ft. Hope I explained that.
