my deceased dad is from there who died 2 years ago due to COVID, i been 7 times when he took us, there , and stayed 3 months every time. very beautiful and the markets , smell of fresh bread in morning. we hiked several times on big rock, the vikings kidnap princess Diane. i could go on and on here about cefalu, but any tourist wouldn't regret it

Sicily is definitely on our list of places to visit...along with Calabria and Puglia! Of course, we have a long list so not sure when we'll get there, but hoping it will be soon. Cheers from Toronto :)

I’m in Sicily right now and today we did the Palermo street food tour and they told us that if you call them “arancici” they might refuse to serve you. lol. They take their arancina seriously. They explained that it is called arancina because arancina means “orange” and they look like oranges so they are called arancina (not arancici). Glad to share what I learned today.
That's so funny. We loved Palermo. We went through that back and forth in Sicily. Arancini, or arancina? We had mixed answers, it went back and forth. We are so happy you were able to clarify for us! From now on " arancina". Did you like them? Cheers , thanks for commenting and watching😀

What a crapy place, unlike the rest of Sicily! Because of its non Italian visitors and Balkan hotel staff mostly.
We disagree and thought it was wonderful just like the rest of Sicily.
