Funny, I liked Palermo waaaay more than Catania. Although Catania has amazing architecture, the dirt and poverty were depressing. Along Torino, the only place I didn't feel compelled to come back

@@thenewcanadian29 It depends on your fitness level but we (fit 67/75 yo) didn’t find it hard and it really is worth it. The paths were very well maintained, the views are amazing and the history is very interesting - definitely something that is good to read up on ahead of time so you know what you’re looking at. It is tough to actually FIND the entrance to path unless they have fixed the signs so check with a local on how to get to there. There is also a fee (3 euros?). Enjoy!

This was a fun video to watch. You both look happy which is nice. The yellow dress perked up the brownish-colored stones along the way, I'm leaving in mid-November for Cefalu to do some photography. It looks like you may have used a drone for the aerial shots, did you use a drone or patch in other videos? I liked the rooftop view at the Duomo and especially loved the beach view with the sun hitting the homes. I couldn't tell what month this video was filmed, but I loved how the sun played off the building during that later time of day (7:30 pm). it'll be interesting for me to see the difference in the light I'll get from a winter sunset.

We are considering visiting Sicily. Thankyou for the video! We´ve been to other places in Italy. I am astonished they let you enter Duomo with cropped/sleeveless t-shirt and shorts. Usually a no-go in Italian churches. Maybe consider wearing something different next time, in Venice they deny people entering St.Marks-cathedral... 😘

Things are getting a bit better here, more people moving around , but holiday abroad are still risky with taking tests and having to isolate in some cases , but here is to next year. I worked for ‘Cape’ fruit for 19 years based in London and visited SA from time to time , I was ops manager in the marine division and was down in Durban port quite a bit , also P Eliz and Cape Town, our office there is in Belleville . I have been learning Italian so can’t wait to have another holiday there. All the best mate, ci vediamo prossimo anno - spero

We just loved Cefalu - celebrated my sister's 60+ birthday here. I guess, these video clips are too short to do it real justice, e.g. the food alone! And the free concerts at the cathedral, and all streets leading down straight to the sea, and despite all the tourists you will find original native life in the narrow alleyways, like fishers mending their nets or middle-aged women sitting in front of their houses for a chat. Compared to Cefalu, Taormina was a touristic horror-trip, only enjoyable between 7 and 10 a.m. 😃

Your pizza was undercook.. Little advice, if you go too early in a pizzeria when in Italy make sure the wood oven is been light up early in the afternoon otherwise you get that kind of thing.
Personally would recommend lowering the Music in your audio mix. I personally found the generic house music EXTREMELY distracting and annoying. I could recommend better music but I almost think you’d be better served almost entirely removing it from your edits. Anyone who is interested in the place will NOT need the music to drive their attention. it’s a disconnected formulaic approach to content.
Yes Sicilians are known to judge others especially when they see people drinking beer outdoors on a beach. An old mentality is common among these people and if a female is drinking a big bottle of beer is considered a no no.

Dovrebbe visitare Cefalù, allora. Sono poche le città di quelle dimensioni che riescono a convogliare tale bellezza. Il Cristo Pantocratore della Cattedrale è tra quelli che vengono usati più spesso nei libri di testo. È una perla Normanna nel Mediterraneo. Saluti.

Cefalù come altre zone molto frequentate dài Turisti di massa sembra a volte "un pochino perdere di fascino"( la granita vera Siciliana ad esempio lì non l'ha trovi...devi farti un Giro nei paesini .. per Capire Bene , sono nata al Nord ma amo la Sicilia..come lei nessuna ❤️
