This is a series of 7 Days of exploring Tibet, from the city of Lhasa with its beautiful Potala Palace and many monasteries to yamdrok lake all the way to Mt. Everest base camp.
I fly to Lhasa, "Place of the Gods", which is located 3650m from sea level.
Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet and one of the highest cities in the world. The effect of high altitude required the body to adapt, hence the first day is an easy and relaxed day while exploring Lhasa city.
