I am thrilled to see Porches @ A&R Bar in Columbus!! Been in la la love with them about 5 years now. Taking my 9yr old & know a magic eve awaits as each beat plays upon my humble ears
no.. i totally agree that this version is like, infinitely better. I tried listening to the studio version and it did not vibe. on the live version there's no drum machine, and the guitar gets kind of lost in the studio mix. On this version you have that crunchy guitar mixing with the synth the whole time. And both of their vocal performances are insane. It's all done so well.
Thing Whas Im pretty confident hes just running his mic through an audio interface and using a DAW with whatever autotune vst and he uses chorus and some slapback delay. Probably also compresses his vocals.
@@josephjohnson5056 not really actually, live version can also has separate tracks, one big difference of studio recording is that you can definitely retake a couple times for a perfect result while live is only one shot altogether
Incredible musicians. He has an amazing front-man energy and confidence.
One of my fav songs of the Covid era, This is live.
the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard in my life. So deep and smooth
what a perfect mix
Oh my lord the harmonies are effortlessly beautiful, I am freaking out over here.
Chloe Mk was phenominal at back up vocals.

Your ass would sound roughly the same through it
Fi real dem wicked

Glad I'm not the only one with this opinion!
Holy fuck, every version of this song becomes my new favourite. :\
That's good songwriting for you.
yep, yessir: i absolutely condone this
This is music for people with good taste
where could i buy the girl's keyboardist t-shirt?
loooooovely song
it's vintage :( but you could probably find it somewhere on grailed or depop
Personally I like this better than studio version
❤️
Beautiful song, amazing harmonies
💓
9 months after hearing it for the first time, this performance penetrates every pore of my skin even deeper. Thank you, Aaron and band!
I wish I was happy.
Can someone please tell me how he gets this vocal sound, is it partly the TC Helicon Touch 2?!?!
Thing Whas thank you for your insight!

@@AlejandroGonzalez-by9jf do you know what microphone he's using ?
@@hafiznazhri1784 2 years late but akg d19
:( cowbells
thats right, sad :(
What microphone is that?
Maybe AKG D19 or Warm Audio WA-19
YES RONNIE!
I tried to find this song on Spotify and was met with many cowbells. Many. Why.
why not? :D I find myself missing them in this version
is this the new band line up?
✨✨✨
Aaron Maine is the absolute best. ❤
Yo where'd the cowbell go!?
It's the best part of the song, and they omitted it...?
@@Rogue_NPC_777 I'll stand in
the cowbell is absolutely essential, feels like a phantom limb listening to this version
“But I never wanna do anything” Something tells me he’s a Taurus
🙌
anyone have the chords??
Does anyone know that mic hes using?
Akg d19
👍👍
Ayee
jajaja , el final
OH OKAY.
how the fuck do you get that guitar tone????????
Chloe.
:)
I meant los porcos not porches
The heavy auto tune reminds me of Julian casablancas
Maya Laynar or bust🤕. Just sayin. 🦠
Doesn’t “live” mean at a show? Seems like a studio recording haha
live means it's performed live, whether in a huge stadium or in a studio, or even shower
"Live session" probably better phrase
@@rattabill Wait, so then what is the difference between this and every other studio recording they have? Have those all been... dead?
Ahhh it just means they didn't multitrack. I assumed this band did not record that way.
@@josephjohnson5056 not really actually, live version can also has separate tracks, one big difference of studio recording is that you can definitely retake a couple times for a perfect result while live is only one shot altogether
Anyone, Anytime: So dude, Porches...
Me: Yes, please.
