The Magical answer was an in joke between them referencing what Matt and Trey from South Park did on acid at the Oscars, where they only gave answers with the term Magical. You can see the way they in laugh when he keeps answering with Magical. Cool.

Now come on Wet Leg haters if they're industry plants why are they so natural and uncoached in interviews? They're just ordinary women who have been playing music for years without getting anywhere who changed their approach, made it more fun and the great songs came along because of their playfulness. Their success is well deserved. Great live band, lovely people and really fun songs.

The lead singer, Rhian, has learned just from this sudden fame to be more outgoing, but really everyone other than Henry, the drummer, is more reserved, even introverted. Basically they collectively feel awkward about all the attention, so there's a combination of not knowing what to say, and low-key wanting to promptly escape the journalists and cameras.

It blows my mind when I see comments like this. Go ahead and dial up an interview with Nirvana. More musicians than not aren’t that great at interviews. They aren’t trained commentators, they are bonafide rock stars.
@@PrvtIdaho i completely understand that but nirvana was in a different time period. With todays music industry media training is something that is unfortunately needed. I know it’s probably something they don’t want to do or anyone else in the industry but times have changed and if they want to make a career out of it then something like being able to keep an interview interesting or just the ability to answer the questions right away is something they will have to work on
The money off the harry styles cover would've been nice.

They're from the Isle of Wight just off the south coast of England. 'Wet Leg' is what the locals call tourists from the mainland.
