Doubt (at around 3.50th min), If G = H intersection Y, where H is an open subset of X and Y is a closed set, isn't is possible that the points of H which lie on the boundary of Y, do not have any open ball which is contained in Y ? Because that will mean that there exist some points in G (the points on the boundary of Y) which do not have any open ball contained in Y (since Y is closed) and therefore, G does not remain open in Y.
