Having to buy or own a house here in Canada is a good investment. Yes it’s loan from the bank but it does not mean you will put yourself in debt, it’s not like buying a car that depreciates as soon as you drive it out the dealership. Owning a house will get you an equity after 5 years. You can sale your house anytime you want, the bank will not even offer you a loan unless you have a job and it will only allow you certain amount of loan depends on your income. Been here in Canada for 23 years and there is no such things as an easy job, but atleast you are well compensated, unlike Philippines. Although i am still Filipino at heart, Canada had offered me so much opportunities . Thank you Canada

Yes that's only loan even houses it's under ur name but it's own by the bank n revenue..im here for 38yrs going home this year.. I hv condo for 14 yrs when I sold my net is just my down-payment.. so it's like u just rent for 14yrs..yes ur right u just work n work here..pension they collected that ahead in ur paycheck..hospital free but medicine not...thats why only Asian hv houses..Caucasian seldom hv houses they want to depend from the govt..we feed all the lazy people here to the welfare..

I been here in Vancouver since 1994. Yes, theres a lot of opportunities which Philippines don't have but is not as easy as it sounds. Mas gusto ko parin ang buhay Pinas kasi it's more laid back and simple. Nothing is happier than surrounded with family and friends. Materials things that I gain here doesn't make me happy. My sisters and I in few years are going back the Philippines for good.

It's not really "binabaon sa utang" the right term. Remember that before the approval for that loan, katakot takot na credit investigation na gagawin. And once approved, it means you have the capacity to pay for the durationg of the loan, unless nawalan ka ng work. It's the pride of ownership kasi kung hindi ka magloloan for your house, you will still pay rent for an apartment.

Mga bago pa kasi sila kaya they only see what is on the surface. LOL. Sadly, most of Pinoys are shortsighted, they do not think long term, don't plan and only see the present. They live way above their means and take on too much debt like they are millionaires. Sarap buhay sa Canada o US once paid-off na ang mortgage at mga cars. Sa umpisa lang ako nahirapan sa US. After working hard for 20 years, set na ako for life, pati family ko at debt-free. Gusto latest car, latest phone, latest lahat pero lubog sa utang instead of saving/investing for the future.

I did not spend any money for the tuition fee of my kids. The key word to have a happy life is contentment, whereever you are if you have this word and apply it in your life you will enjoy living here. By the grace of God we have not tried having two jobs, almost paid our house and have four professional kids. Yes, we started here from zero but we had goal. Saved/invested 50% of my income while my wife stayed home to raise our son and take care of me and our house. I paid off our house in 15 yrs. Retired at 38 mortgage-free and debt-free with healthy savings, retirement and investment accounts. Life is good and can buy whatever we need and want, can travel anywhere and whenever we want. Hindi ka mabubuhay doon ng walang utang at hanggang sa pagtanda mo ay may utang ka..So we went back to Saudi Arabia and raised our 4 children there. Which hindi kami nagkamali ng desisyon dahil everything is free during our time in Saudi Arabia. No taxes, free housing fully furnished, free car, gas allowance, free education, free ticket and every year paid vacation for 45 days.. We've been living there for 40 yrs. We were able to travel other countries. Nakabili kami ng mga properties, house and lots, cars na hindi nangutang and I'm very grateful for that blessings.. By the way my husband is an elevator engineer and I'm working in the hospt. We met in Saudi Arabia..Every individual has its own fate and luck. Life in Canada is good especially for children. But there is always a trade off. We moved to Canada in the Year 2010 armored with 25 years experience in I. T. And my wife an accounting head. My son was in high. School that time. The first year was a struggle as i cant get a computer job even as a Technician. After I challenged some certification exams for microsoft and COMPTIA, wow i couldnt believe all the many offers i got.
I was employed in one of the. Biggest companies in Canada with good pay. The. Bottom line is and my tip to those who still want to go to. CANADA or anywhere for that matter is that, you have to upgrade yourself to get a better job.

Im very grateful to Canada.Canada gave myself and my family a bright future. Me and my wife are just ordinary workers here in Canada but we were able to buy our own house, sent our 3 children to university and all of them our working now and owned 3 vehicles.Im almost in my 60's but mortgage free now. We travelled the world several times already and i think i can't get this opportunity if i remained in the Philippines...for ordinary persons like us.Soon i will retire from work and will be receiving several pension plans, a pension from my employer, an RRSP (i can withdraw this pension now if i want but will be taxed which is still okay),CPP pension which i can receive right away and an old age pension later when i turn 65.I live in Ontario so we are covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) just like every Canadians who reside in other provinces. There too many young couple immigrants to Canada who became successful in a very short time, mostly 3 to 5 years timeframe. They bought their houses at a younger age.Yes its morgage but who cares. When you are in the Philippines you also apply a loan thru PAI-IBIG isn't it? or maybe you worked overseas for several years leaving your family behind and then maybe you buy your own house and lot but in an installment basis. That's what i heard and knew personally.Meaning construction of your future dream house is not in a steady progression. Filipinos here in Canada are hard working and have lots of work or job opportunities so kung may mortgage ka you can double your payment and shorten your term. The same goes with the car loan, at least its yours and start enjoying and owning it and travel Canada and as far as the United States which has lots to offer when when are talking about beuatiful scenery of North America (USA and Cacada).Kanya kanyang paraan. So for people who want to migrate to Canada especially the young professionals don't be discourage because this is the place where you can start a new beginning of your life and turn it to a better one just like in other places...Australia,New Zealand,Europe,US etc...

100% correct! I paid off my house in California in 15 years by making extra payments monthly and quarterly. I retired at 38 debt-free after working hard for 20 years straight 6-7 days a week and saving/investing 50% of my pay. Possible to retire early n US, Canada and in any first world country but not in the Philippines for mere mortals like me. In the Philippines, only the super rich and the well-connected people succeed and become rich. My wife and I also travel and enjoy our peaceful and convenient/comfortable life in sunny Southern California.

Yun Ang problema, kubg marami kang tinutulubgan kailangan mo talaga 3 jobs..

And Canada is one of the safest country in the world..So Maganda talaga Dito Sa Canada not as in..For me this is the best country, everyone is safe, no matter how hard pa Ang sinasabing work , women are very safe here.. , so yung paghihirap n pagtitiyaga n pagsisikap is universal..The thing is Canadians are very friendly and very fair to all no matter what Ang lahi..
And lalo na Sa mga seniors they see to it that they get the right amount they need for one person’s cost of living, which is $1200 to 1300 a month, nagwork man o Hindi May supplement Sa govt as long as they are immigrant or Canadian citizen..They have food banks which means free food n free caregivers if they live in subsidized housings in which the rent depends on their income..

What's the difference does it make? Pre-owned & used car is just the same meaning, the right word is slightly used or newer model cars. Also the same thing when you work you will be deducted with tax, medicare etc ganun din sa pinas pero mas maraming advantage pa rin sa canada like what you've mentioned.

Correction tungkol sa health care if you don' t have ohip yes you have to pay but if you do have ohip you don't need to pay . I leave here in Canada for 38 yrs . but I never paid at all lalo na tungkol sa health care . Kung wala kang family doctor puede ka sa walk in clinic as long my ohip card

Free healthcare, free education from kindergarten to high school. At least, maayos ang kontrata, di tulad sa Pinas, lokohan pa. You don't buy what you want, buy what you need. You pay taxes, you see where your tax goes, = roads, highways, schools, hospitals, libraries in every cities where you can borrow books, winter road services, garbage pick-up, recycle depots where you can drop off your items. And many other services.

    • @rexmanigsaca398
      @rexmanigsaca398 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Those free healthcare and education are not actually free. Gov't paid those Healthcare workers and Teachers from people's high taxes, which is higher than US btw. So, para ka na ding nag babayad ng hospital bills every month kahit di ka nagkasakit or nagbabayad ng school tuition kahit walang pinapaaral.

@@rexmanigsaca398 of course, we all pay taxes that's the reason why Canada has revenues.

You forgot to mention Child Day care services. 48% of Daycares in Canada are private which cost $1,200 to $1,700 per child per month. The Gov't funded Daycares are available at much cheaper rate of $600 a month but there is a very long waiting list. As a result, many Filipino immigrants with young children have daytime and graveyard jobs where one parent works during the day while the other at night to make sure one parent is at home with their children. When my family moved to Canada I barely saw my parents together except on Sunday which was their lone day off as my Father had two jobs. I was a typical Latch Key Kid. Our family pretty much grew apart after we moved to Canada as it was always work work work for my Parents.
