    Thank you for this. My granddaughter asked me to crochet her a steering wheel cover. I researched and yours makes most sense to me.

    I love that you use measurements instead of a pattern where you have to chain a certain amount. Since most of us might be using different yarn that is really helpful.

    I found several patterns online to choose from, but yours is so simple and YOU are so cheerful and laugh often, so obviously it was a no brainier! Thank you for the pattern and the constant smile you put on my face. 😁

    Thank you for this pattern! It was easy to follow and not as daunting as I expected. I didn't use this pattern as a steering wheel cover, though I hope to one day, I used this pattern to make covers that went around the outside my pc monitors. This pattern worked perfectly for my covers, with some added improvisation to make it curl around the border of the monitor and some cute accessories like cat ears and bows to complete the look of my monitors. I'm glad I stumbled upon this pattern to help me realize my dream of adding cute accessories to my desk. Thank you! ^__^

    Hi Tawny! I love this!! I'm a beginner and i'd really love to try to make one for my steering wheel, but it's kind of thicker at the bottom, do you have any suggestions on what I can do to make the gap work around the thick part? Thank you :)

    Hi Tawny!!! It's so nice to see you on TH-cam. Hope all is going well for you and your family. This is a cute idea I might make one of these for my car. Although my husband drives my car once in awhile so we shall see how he reacts to it. I have a few binging shows I like to watch. One is Law and Order, The Golden Girls, The Middle, and Big Bang Theory. What are your favorite binging shows?

    • @TawnyMumzee
      @TawnyMumzee  ปีที่แล้ว

      Each steering wheel is different. You'll have to take the measurement of yours and then chain enough to match that measurement.

    Would cotton work?

    • @TawnyMumzee
      @TawnyMumzee  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I think cotton would work wonderfully. It's definitely strong. It's a little more absorbent than an acrylic, so it might get dirtier faster. The one featured in the video is made from Handicrafter cotton. It lasted quite a long time before I made a new one ☺️

    It would be much appreciated if you could say half double crochet instead of HDC or single crochet instead of SC I sent this to my daughter and she sent it back to me saying I have no idea what she’s talking about. My daugher is brand new to crochet so she wouldn’t know what a HDC or an SC is, thank you

    • @TawnyMumzee
      @TawnyMumzee  ปีที่แล้ว

      🤣 this video was filmed about 5 years ago, so I can't remember exactly 🤔 But it probably has to do with the wonders that can be accomplished with a good, strong bra strap. I probably just tucked my phone into there and voila, a cinematic masterpiece 🤣🤣🤣
