But the Government doesn't have enough money. Add corruption and a meager 11% tax-to-GDP ratio; you are only left with so much. But things will change. The digital world will soon have free education for everyone.
@kumaryadav1932 Nahi bhai. But I got a good rank in JEE Mains and got into IIITA. Did a lot of coding in college and finally got placed in a big company. Getting into IIT makes life easier. But if you don't, its okay. Just work harder in college and you will get simiilar jobs as IITians.
I am now in my 30s. Looking back now it really doesn't matter which college you went. It's true that IIT will open opportunities earlier but anyone who is focused and hardworking will eventually reach where they deserve to be. Parents push because they are afraid about life uncertainties. Focus on learning, being happy and to be honest that all matters. Writing this message in hope someone who is young and is confused reads and understands. Life is not a race. Just live and enjoy.

I just got a panic attack when they were solving & discussing their test in the end. Reminded me of my mock tests . Also I agree with Abhishek when he said he gets anxious on a specific months like March, April,May(Exam months). I've felt the same- at times still do.
I am a doctor and this brought back all the trauma of PMT days. I resonate with every sentiment about preparation but thankfully 13 years since I graduated from medical college and happy to say, this was my calling.

PG aspirants working in medical college, after getting the much coveted seats were on verge of depression. I left India. I wanted to make enough money to survive and take my time. Moved to Singapore, now settled in NZ ,general practitioner. Very content with life
@MrSagarcool14 first of all, call me sister to be gender specific haha. But I didn't have to clear any exam to come to NZ as I worked in Singapore for 8 years before that and came here through competent health pathway.
@MrSagarcool14 i never wrote one PG exam because I had made up my mind. I was just looking to be happy. All my friends thought it's crazy. I wanted to make enough money to stop askingmy father and take my time to decide what I wanted to do. Life wasn't easy,it's competitive everywhere, Singapore is an Asian country , work culture was pretty daunting too I sucked it up. But after 5 years of working, slogging in public system, I moved out became a GP , did family medicine. Moved to NZ in 2021 ,left our Singapore residency and settled here. 11 years since we left India and can say we have only just settled. Chose your happiness that's all I can say, wherever it lies.

I got a job as Sub- Inspector in Delhi Police way back in 94 and at that point of time I even didn’t dare for preparing for IIT after clearing my 12th. At that point of time you can get admission in engineering College like Delhi College of engineering with CBSE marks. I am 54 now, till now I do differential calculus and watch documentary on quantum physics. Because deep down somewhere I couldn’t get over my low percentage 75% PCM, so till now I am burnt out.
Abhishek Upamanyu is totally me, i chose this hell path myself maybe because of some overtime brain wash. And my friend and even ex too got into IIT and became more determined and destroyed myself.

I had goosebumps when Varun started talking about 'Mera naam joker'. That was the movie of my childhood, I was very small maybe 4/5 but it's still burnt in my memory from it being an absolute masterpiece. It must have been my introduction to comedy/tragedy besides Charlie Chaplin casettes
I think it does not matter whether you crack the exam or not. The jee preparation journey teaches you, how to gain focus. Even today after four years, I have the confidence that if I have one day, I will be able to study anything if I apply the focus. This confidence is due to the jee preparation . It teaches you how to do hard work.
JEE diye 20 saal ho chuke hai. Can totally feel when Abhishek mentioned he used to get anxiety attacks in March-April. Ditto bhai, same used to happen to me too. That fresh spring air used to make me traumatized for years, realised it years later that it was the exam season and now I am done with it, finally felt relieved after that. Raat ka 2.30 baje Germany me baithe dekh rha hu, saalo ne last me exam rakhke phirse anxiety bada diya, abhi ganda sapna ayega 😢 Anyways, good tug to the old memories, thank you guys, all of you are my favs. 🤗 Best of luck for the movie Varun! 👍😎

This talk seems so relatable. I always felt that others are better than me. I always wanted to be just not seen by anyone. Was always scared. Did not appeared for interviews. Got a teacher job by referral. I felt so depressed. I wanted to get married because I thought I will handle the house and no one will except much from me. But I was married to a toxic household. My husband is very nice and supportive but rest of house was toxic and manipulating. Now I am doing good in life. Try new things and I found that I am capable of so many things. The only thing that was stopping me was me myself. Now I teach my daughter to do what you actually want and don’t give up on anything without trying even if you feel scared. You will never know what you can do unless you try.

Totally relatable to my journey......two exemplary moments were due to biswa first one was at 27 min and later on when he explained Euler's equation. Mere to abhi 6-7 saal purane hi jakhm h aap log k to 15-20 saal k h aapke nhi gye to pta chal rha h ki hmare bhi lambe time Tak rahenge. Took me back to countless memories of those times. Whatever is the superlative degree of amazed I'm feeling that. Already a fan now an admirer as well. I hope you read this comment.

I remember growing up in Lucknow "Maths toh Joshi Sir Hi Padega" used to be painted all over the walls. Joshi Sir used to teach Maths in such a fun way that it didn't feel so difficult. Fond Memories 😊
