But even through long distance, we fought hard for each other and now here we are, happily married for 2yrs and will be celebrating our first Christmas with our 10 month old son. "If she really loves you, she'll be her when you get back." Couldn't have been more true for me
I know there was a lot of criticism online for Season 4, but as far as I'm concerned, Jimmy's growth and character arc in season 4 made it a fantastic season. I just hope he comes back for an episode or two in season 5, and brings Emily with him.
Doesn't matter who's in the wrong, once you've given a "if you do ___, we're done" kind of ultimatum, you have no right to be pissed when they find someone else. That opinion is my alamo and I will die on the ****ing wall defending it.
You nailed it! At first it was cheers for Jimmy for having this girl want him, but then you realize the fact that she was aggressive with no real deep reason. it was just the high, and just like the rollercoaster when up, it came crashing down for Jimmy.
I think Mia was just looking at what he could have been.... when she should have been looking at what she had.... She just needed to grow up a bit more, like Jimmy did.
Jimmy is one of my favorite characters in Yellowstone. At the end of the third season, he was a totally different person. He grew so much as a character.
Mia is a representation of many partners we have in life. Choose someone that loves, appreciates, and respects who you are as a person, but you better be a good person because if your not, you will end up with a Mia.
What she doesn't realize, is when she asked Jimmy to choose her or his fiance. That's the second time she asked him to choose what he wants or needs to do, over her. And both times he made the right decision. Her mistake was making him choose, because it showed that she was unwilling to do what she had to to be with him and decided he needed to change his life for her instead
Mia bullied him onto getting on a bucking horse after his first set of injuries, by questioning his manhood. Unforgivable. Kind of amazed no one called her out on that.
@@RaphL707 she forced him to lose his virginity, she manipulated him to try and rodeo again which almost killed him and got him sent away, she said she was done with him and then she said forget everything choose me or your new girl lol yea that’s a toxic woman, reminds me of my ex actually
I never did like the character of Mia, but I realized that Jimmy had to go through his time meeting her to realize that a person who really loves you does not give you stupid advice! When you have two doctors and your boss telling you not to ride bucking broncos because you have a broken back, the last thing he needed to do was listen seriously to her while she goaded him into getting back on a horse! And I think the story writing was lame when they sent him down to the Four Sixes ranch in Texas and the first thing they do is put him on unbroken horses so he can get bucked around out in the pasture! Apparently the dude wants to be paralyzed for the rest of his life!
You got that right, I grew up in Darby, MT and joined the USAF out of high school. I wish I could move back but life's circumstances just hasn't delt me that hand.
The writers make it so easy. I'd settle down with a vet - who'd uproot her life for her SO, anytime too. Not someone whom have shortsighted, self-interest at the expense of my back - literally. Intelligence and love, hard to beat those 2 in a relationship.
"That'll go over like a fart in church" And "Hey, no fighting" "Let em fight, they don't work here" some of the best lines. But I also love john and Jimmies interaction when Jimmy gets back.
One of the worst stereotypes about women is flakiness, and Mia with her game-playing is that at its worst. Once she gave the ultimatum, that was that, as far as I'm concerned. Her pride got in the way of what would have been an extraordinary relationship. The other woman deservedly benefitted.
I think she had a certain type of traveling cowboy boyfriend she's always wanted, and was trying to mold Jimmy into who she wanted him to be. That never works .
I don't exactly blame Mia for giving him an ultimatum. I just blame her for sticking around after he left. There's nothing wrong with not compromising. If you know exactly what you want then there's nothing wrong with never settling for anything less, just as long as you accept that that moment may never come around.
This show creates a lot of situations where the characters have difficult decisions to make. But the choice Jimmy was given between Mia and Emily was not one of them. Easiest decision of the series.
Jimmy's real family.... Rip: Th older brother thats serious but gives tough love, while looking out to make sure he's ok, especially from bullies Lloyd: the supportive father figure who just wants what's best for him John: the grandfather who makes his decisions that have consequences but proves a point
Ryan: The big brother who sincerely loves you. And always has your back. Colby: The brother closest to you in age, and also always has you’re back. But you two talk shit the most. Teeter: Your sincere yet hardcore sister in law. And also always has your back. Jimmy has a great family honestly. :]
Jaime: the quiet cousin that sees a man child overthink himself to being a bit reckless, but very kind to give a helping hand in case he was in a tight spot
I laughed so much at Mia when the 6666 truck drove past her with Jimmy and his fiancé vet. I knew Mia only wanted a Jimmy to be a rodeo star and earn big money, that’s what she wanted. That wasn’t Jimmy, he fell in love with a person who accepted him as he was and would wait for him no matter what. She’s the gal for Jimmy. Look forward to seeing Jimmy’s adventure on 6666 with a few other familiar faces namely Teeter.
The man almost died multiple times, destroyed his body multiple times, and she saw how brutal the damage and recovery was everytime yet she still basically told him keep doing rodeo or we’re done. Insane that she thinks he’s in the wrong when he comes back with a girl who loves him for him, doesn’t pressure him into doing something he is clearly no longer comfortable doing, and she doesn’t try to mold him into what she thinks he can be like Mia.
Mia was a whole red flag from the very beginning. Some peope think she's cute but look what she did when she first met Jimmy. She spoke to him once and was aggressively hitting on him then showed up at the hospital calling herself his gf and stood there watching his you know what. Everyone with common sense would know that was crazy
John is right " love don't walk that easy" if she really loves him she'd be saying she's going with him but instead she wouldn't even listen that it wasn't his choice which he told her
Emily > Mia. By a landslide. It may be cause I'm from Texas but idc. Mia was trash. She gave Jimmy 2 ultimatums. 1 got him reinjured, almost killed and got him sent away to Texas. It was her fault in the first place why he had to go to Texas then the 2nd ultimatum was if he left they were done. THEN just expected him to come back and crawl back to her. Nope Jimmy found himself a real women. A women who said she would wait for him in Texas while he was at the Yellowstone. Something Mia didnt do.
Mia’s problem was this: She didn’t love Jimmy, she only desired him. She wanted him, wanted to shape him into her image; everything about her said control. She threw hands at him in the end because she thought she was entitled to, had a right to. Desire takes. But love gives. The woman he would go on to marry understood that, supported him for exactly what he was and who he was. He didn’t dodge a bullet by forgetting about Mia. He dodged a cannon that would have blown another hole in his life. In the end he got the one who loved him, and forsook the one who only wanted him. Happy ending for Jim, and for Emily. Mia can go buy some cats.
Am I alone here in blaming Mia for Jimmy getting hurt? If she hadn't gone over and gotten him all distracted and flustered right before he got on that killer horse, he might not have been injured. You think someone that worked in that world would be smarter than doing something stupid like that.
No you're not wrong at all. She practically raped him in the hospital bed when we had a broken back. Some things can wait. Her morals have been fairly messed up to a higher degree than most people I think...
Mia was selfish and manipulative. Her asking him what was wrong after he got hurt again and he found out the hospital called the ranch showed how selfish she really and how little she cared about HIM. Im glad Jimmy saw her for what she really was. Emily is def a much better woman for him!
Jimmy is my favorite character on Yellowstone he reminds me so much of myself I had the same life he had before he ended up at the Yellowstone. Had to pull my life together in a different way and I was lucky I met my husband hasn't been easy but it's definitely better than where I was. And it makes me so proud that he's all grown up
She is a nightmare. Imagine what she thinks he owes her. If she jumped on his dick after meeting him for 2 minutes imagine how many rodeo guys she has f%ck%Ed. You go ride a bull sweetie. You use your feminine wiles to get a guy crippled and he decides he might not want to do it again you throw a toddler tantrum. What did you risk? Nothing. What did you pay? Playing nurse for a month and you think you're entitled to superman? She is an entitled loose crybaby and I hope she ends up with someone like her.
I love how subtle they called back to things. When jimmy is first leaving and John extends his hand to shake, jimmy doesn't look him in the eyes. When he gets back his head is up and he shakes his hand like a man.
Little girls of the world who think fighting for you is the key to your heart...listen up! A GROWN WOMAN knows that they don't have to give an ultimatum to a man, or make him have to fight for her love. Only spoiled children do that. A true man doesn't need the arrangement made by his woman to see his loyalty towards her. A real man will fight for his woman whenever necessary. If the situation comes up, and he doesn't show interest for fight for her when her life is in danger, then you'll know Whether or not he's the guy for you. But NEVER force him into that position YOURSELF to test him. That's Toxic.
I really enjoy all those little noises of embarrassment the actor playing Jimmy does, that make his reactions seem so real. The interplay in the hospital room is hysterical.
I dont feel bad for Mia at all. She could have went with Jimmy, she chose NOT to speak with Jimmy when he left and all of a sudden she wants to fight him when he comes back? Nawww, Jimmy chose CORRECTLY here in my opinion
What a captivating title! Jimmy and Mia's relationship timeline in the setting of Yellowstone sounds like it would offer a unique and interesting perspective on love and life. The picturesque environment of Yellowstone, with its breathtaking landscapes, must add a wonderful backdrop to their story. It's always intriguing to see how relationships evolve over time, especially in such a dynamic setting. 🌄💕
I love how Jim always try’s to “earn” the right to be a cowboy. Something I thing a lot of people fail to live up to nowadays. Entitlement is so burned into society, that your even looked down on for not doing it. If everyone lived a “cowboy” mentality, I’m sure a lot, not all, of our problems could be solved. Great actors and great show 🤙🏾
Im in education, and believe me; it's that way everywhere. Kids come to us believing just showing up is enough, parents feel it's our job to work miracles and hand out diplomas. That would work perfect, if only everyone was talented and choosing the job they were made for, but that's not the case.
Very true with today's society; started 3 decades ago when everyone in sports got a trophy just for signing up. Even last place teams got a party and trophy.
20:50 everyone’s reaction why Mia was even hear in the first place. Her and Laramie are parasites and why Rip even let’s them in the bunkhouse is a question I want to ask Sheridan himself
19:35 - 22:20 I’m sorry but she had no right to be mad the way she was to hit him. Like how immature are you to hit someone the way she did when he introduced Emily to the bunkhouse? I do love how Emily jumped in without hesitation, not letting another woman hit the man she loves. Heck yeah of her fighting Mia. Jimmy tried to talk to Mia before leaving but she didn’t want to talk to him and with all that happened, he left. She says how he didn’t fight for her when he tried some. So Jimmy took her word and moved forward in his life then met Emily, a person who loves him for who he is as a person. Jimmy deserves that and Mia was never going to give that to him. John was right. If Mia truly loved Jimmy, she would have waited for him. Thanks for uploading.
Jimmy managed to have nowhere to go, got the brand, and still ended up finding his way out. He had to work incredibly hard and struggle every step of the way, but he actually ended up finding what he wanted. Even Rip congratulated him. Jimmy is one of my favorite characters on the show, period.
The character of Mia will always have a soft spot for me. She’s a cute immature rodeo girl who really does love Jimmy in her own way. Jimmy isn’t a guy who plays games, Mia is. He unapologetically made his own way and fell in love with a woman who truly knows what she wants. Mia is wrong for how she treated their relationship like a thing to be mistreated when she sought fit but nonetheless she was still a slice of fun to watch.
The fact that she said you did not even fight not even a little. That speaks volumes because women think that we are mind readers but we are not. And we are going to take you on your word
This comment's section is very optimistic for Jimmy and Emily's relationship. Fortunately, there are never any twists or any turbulence in this show, and their relationship will probably be smooth sailing from here on out.
Jimmy's acting here is sensational! This is truly the attitude of a man who has grown up; his fierce manner, the unwavering tone of his voice, the decisiveness. He's not afraid of fluff anymore; she can't hold her puss over him as bargaining power. Really great performance.
I was unsure who to root for between the 2 ladies.. but That question by emily in the end at the truck, made me cement my decision on her. THATS MATURITY beyond anyones years.
I'd be hard pressed to say that I wouldn't fall for Mia. She is a ride or die kinda woman until you stop trying to follow your dreams. That's not the worst characteristic I've seen in someone, especially someone who still loves you after you leave.
@@WickedFireBird69 Very true. If Mia loved him for real, she would have understood the fact that he had to go to Texas to better himself, and growup. She would have supported him, and either said I'll wait, or ill go with you. She didnt even say by to him.
Yep!! I agree with you entirely. Listen Mia..... and listen carefully. This is me living my life the best I can and I see fit and going through different stages and circumstances. And now I am where I am. You said you wanted to be with me, you had fallen in love with me before the accident but you are changing your mind easy and quickly right after it happened. Well if that is the way you want it that square thing over there is what we call around here "the door", close it behind you and go get another rodeo champion, And when you are with him look down yourself then you will realize that that thing you'll see between your thighs it's not the real McCoy, it's not the Jimmy you wanted. But even through long distance, we fought hard for each other and now here we are, happily married for 2yrs and will be celebrating our first Christmas with our 10 month old son.
"If she really loves you, she'll be her when you get back." Couldn't have been more true for me
@@BadLuckGino That is wonderful! Great job to the both of you and thanks for sharing :)
Same bro, almost walked away, so glad I didn't. Still together for 31 year, married for 29.
I know there was a lot of criticism online for Season 4, but as far as I'm concerned, Jimmy's growth and character arc in season 4 made it a fantastic season. I just hope he comes back for an episode or two in season 5, and brings Emily with him.
Lloyd saying goodbye to jimmy was deep very heartwarming.
It's almost like there was no acting there. I felt it as a Dad watching your kids grow up hurts and makes you happy too.
Ain't a goodbye, it's see ya later. I hope Jimmy will return even for an episode to show how far he's gotten.
Bro look at jimmy leveling up in life!! That is a badass transformation!!
Doesn't matter who's in the wrong, once you've given a "if you do ___, we're done" kind of ultimatum, you have no right to be pissed when they find someone else. That opinion is my alamo and I will die on the ****ing wall defending it.
Exactly. This whole 'you didn't fight' is BS. Good for Jimmy for not playing that game.
Some people take you at your word. Ultimatum are just manipulation and no one needs that in their life.
“I’m usually not that forward…”
Next minute… mounts him on the hospital bed… 😆😆😆
And he had a broken back, she could've paralyzed him for life cause she was horny 😅
No better woman😅
Mia was a narcissist and Jimmy was her supply. Glad to see Jimmy upgrade!
All I heard out of Mia's mouth was..................
ME. me .Me me me me and more me Me mE me me me.
Your right ever since he met her its been one hurricane after the other. Plus Jimmy was right she could have went with him

Just plain selfish

Mia bullied him onto getting on a bucking horse after his first set of injuries, by questioning his manhood. Unforgivable. Kind of amazed no one called her out on that.
Seriously. And not only that but she didn’t love him for who he was but for who he “could be” which is detrimental to a relationship
When rip said he was proud of jimmy, he felt that
Mia is the perfect example of a toxic woman
Yep just recently single I know what you mean.
Barrel racer
Really? If Jimmy broke all his bones and was in the hospital would Emily be there? You don't know the meaning of toxic.
@@RaphL707 she forced him to lose his virginity, she manipulated him to try and rodeo again which almost killed him and got him sent away, she said she was done with him and then she said forget everything choose me or your new girl lol yea that’s a toxic woman, reminds me of my ex actually
@@Honkytaco You don't know what's toxic, lmao. Grow a spine, little boy
Question is Mia the girl that had sex in the hospital with that guy and is Jimmy the one with broken bones?
23:55 You can say goodbye to an old friend but leaving the mountains... that is when it gets you.
"That'll go over like a fart in church"
And "Hey, no fighting" "Let em fight, they don't work here" some of the best lines.
But I also love john and Jimmies interaction when Jimmy gets back.
The way Teeter is watching those girls fight while eating is the best.😂
Rip: Th older brother thats serious but gives tough love, while looking out to make sure he's ok, especially from bullies
Lloyd: the supportive father figure who just wants what's best for him
John: the grandfather who makes his decisions that have consequences but proves a point

Walker: the smart ass cousin that will mess with you but yet still have your back.
Right. So glad he found someone decent and not trashy!!!!
Love doesn't WALK that easy... Truth... Love the whole series 💛💛💛
Jimmy is one of the best characters in that show. Talk about coming from nothing. Can't wait to see him season 5.
"Is that your dad?"
"Kinda, yeah."
AWWWWWW ❤💖💗😍
Damn this show hits emotions and thoughts most people never knew they had!
Agreed 100% she is the reason he injured himself. Glad he cut ties with that woman
Yeah but in her mind he should have "cowboy'd the f*** up" and focused on the rodeo so she doesn't think of it as being a distraction. Toxic lady
She should've knew better but Jimmy shouldn't have let himself be distracted either
Mia was selfish and manipulative. Her asking him what was wrong after he got hurt again and he found out the hospital called the ranch showed how selfish she really and how little she cared about HIM. Im glad Jimmy saw her for what she really was. Emily is def a much better woman for him!
Hell of a start to a relationship.

Yeah she's gross. That showed she had zero concern for his healing. She could have waited until he was out of building!
Eh, worth it! 😁
18:00 -- That's some powerful acting by Mia - you can see the heart dropping out of her.
Jimmy is my favorite character on Yellowstone he reminds me so much of myself I had the same life he had before he ended up at the Yellowstone. Had to pull my life together in a different way and I was lucky I met my husband hasn't been easy but it's definitely better than where I was. And it makes me so proud that he's all grown up
I absolutely love Jimmy’s growth

When I see this man falter and fall in the pursuit of passion. Impossible not to love him. He's every man's wingman.

That's what I was thinking, she's very selfish.

“I got tweny on Texas”🤣🤣🤣instead of separating them
I’m happy for Jimmy, Emily is a much better fit for him. Plus now he’s away from the violence of the ranch
Do you mean kelly?
Emily? I think you mean
I really enjoy all those little noises of embarrassment the actor playing Jimmy does, that make his reactions seem so real. The interplay in the hospital room is hysterical.
“That’s gonna go over like a fart in church.” 😂😂😂
Thank you, 😁that was the best quote of this timeline. lol.
That scene with Loyd saying Jimmy was a cowboy already and him hugging jimmy always gets me
Theres a difference between pushing someone to their full potential vs pushing someone to their death, to their own detriment.
Jimmy is one of the reasons Yellowstone is great!
I hope I see more of Jimmy and Lloyd in season 5.
Took me awhile till I realized Mia’s actress is actually josh brolins daughter

She’s attractive asf

I dont feel bad for Mia at all. She could have went with Jimmy, she chose NOT to speak with Jimmy when he left and all of a sudden she wants to fight him when he comes back? Nawww, Jimmy chose CORRECTLY here in my opinion
Jimmy turned into a real man in the end. When he is looking into the mountains in the end. I always envy a view like that
What a captivating title!
Something I thing a lot of people
fail to live up to nowadays. Entitlement is so burned into society, that your even looked down on for not doing it. If everyone lived a “cowboy” mentality, I’m sure a lot, not all, of our problems could be solved. Great actors and great show 🤙🏾
You not entitled to anything you earn it
Lol it's a job.
Im in education, and believe me; it's that way everywhere.
Kids come to us believing just showing up is enough, parents feel it's our job to work miracles and hand out diplomas.
That would work perfect, if only everyone was talented and choosing the job they were made for, but that's not the case.
@@brmbkl thank you for being an educator 🤙🏾
Very true with today's society; started 3 decades ago when everyone in sports got a trophy just for signing up. Even last place teams got a party and trophy.
*"Oh just let 'em fight, they don't even work here!"* 🤣
20:50 everyone’s reaction why Mia was even hear in the first place. Her and Laramie are parasites and why Rip even let’s them in the bunkhouse is a question I want to ask Sheridan himself
This girl basically said “risk your life so I can be attracted to you”
Wow
21:53 was my favorite part. Jimmy is not going to fall for her manipulation again.
19:52 I love how Emily wasted no time.

Nah I knew Emily was the one when she immediately gave Mia the hands right after she punched Jimmy like what?? Lol
That Jimmy and Lyold moment always hits hard.
I was unsure who to root for between the 2 ladies.. but That question by emily in the end at the truck, made me cement my decision on her. THATS MATURITY beyond anyones years.
I hope Mia is off the show for good. Everything bad that's happened to Jimmy is because of her. Good riddance Mia!!!!
I'd be hard pressed to say that I wouldn't fall for Mia. She is a ride or die kinda woman until you stop trying to follow your dreams. That's not the worst characteristic I've seen in someone, especially someone who still loves you after you leave.
I like his fiancé now anyway! She loves Jimmy for who he is, not what she wants him to be!
Wooo Yeah!! I love them barrel racers 😍
British guy here, just want to ask are barrel racer girls known to be wild? I thought it was a concept made up by the show writers and not a real thing. If they look like Laramie though I may have to move to the US!
They exist in real life? They just seem like cowgirl version of gold diggers
Yeah my dad always told me “if you wanna woman to settle with , don’t date a can chaser cause there won’t be no settling” and so far he hasn’t been wrong lol
Barrel racers are a different breed of women. They have equal parts Masculine and Feminine energy inna blender goin full blast. One second she's coming at you with a shovel, over something trivial. Next she's crying cuz her horse threw a shoe. God created em to keep Cowboys in check. Wild in the sheets, runaway train with the bridge out, onna good day. Not made up creatures, been around for 200 years. A North American phenomenon not found anywhere else.
The best part of Emily was, despite her sweetness and gentile nature, she'd fight for Jimmy, physically if necessary. Love her character! ❤
