The Reading Half Marathon 2024 - one of the UKs biggest half marathons. Ran on the closed roads of Reading and finishing the Madjeski (Car Select) stadium. This is a great spring half-marathon, a really fast course with excellent crowds, organisation and support the whole way around. A great course to set a PB or just experience that "big city" race vibe.

Good running. Best wishes out there. Glad the better weather is on the way.
Cheers - it was a good day and the sunshine definitely helped!
Nicely done mate. Looks like a decent route. Good day for it as well, from what I can tell.
It was a cracker - I even have a bit of a suntan, which is a bonus!
Cracking run Ian! Big kudos mate! 👏😎🤘🏅
Cheers Ben. Left the ego at the door and executed it well!
Well done good time that! I ran this year, my first ever marathon did it with a mate after losing around 3 and half stone in 1 year to be able to do it. Finished in a time of 2 hours and 26 minutes. Was looking good for around just over 2 hour mark but tiredness kicked in haha. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to next years now!
That's amazing - well done! It's a great race and the support certainly helps. To be fair, it was quite a warm day and I think that has an impact on most of us! Keep it up, mate!
Great recording. I must have been just in front of you, coming in with PB at 1:35:35.
Well done, Simon! That's a great PB - onwards to the next one?!
@@IRunDaily I've got myself into an unsustainable pattern of taking 5 minutes off my PB each time I run a half marathon (this was my third one), so I might be targeting 1:30 later this year.
That's pretty much where you thought you were so well executed. Looks a decent race and good stadium finish.
Yep, I was just about able to keep my ego in check! It is a good race - will probably do it again next year.
