I'm trying to close holes, but it doesn't work. Despite the model processing, it doesn't close the holes

Hi, do you have a proper settings for closing holes? If you will provide Check topology, do you have there some holes? Can you try filter the around parts of the holes and then use the Close holes tool?

Hello, thank you very much for the video. Does the material configuration (processor and graphics card) play a role in the general quality of the 3D model or is it just mainly for the calculation time?

    G'day Jakub,
Another quick question as I am revisiting this series, what can cross sections be utilised for?
I'm creating a port-folio of potential work I can do, though I am struggling to think where cross-sections can be used for data analysis.
    Again great series!

Hi Joseph, it can be used everywhere, where you need to get some profiles. For example, it is used in surveying.

Alright, I'm sure it can be used in surveying but I'm not sure how the profiles are actually utilised.
No worries, I appreciate the response.

Thank you for being very helpful. I have an issue you can help with. My map has turned out in Black and White. What could be causing this? Thanks.

Hi, do you mean Ortho? Or model? Did you have set Visibility or Photo Consistency in the texturing settings?

Hi Mate, Great tutorial !! - did you take all your photos from the same high and same angle of camera? I am doing a model where I used GCP from GNSS, but when I try to align images doesn't look right. The project has images from different high and angles. any advice ??
    cheers !!!
    Jorge

Hi Jorge, it this example were used just images from same height and using same angle, but the principle is the same also for image from various heights with various capturing angles. In general, it is more practical attitude, but it all depends on the usage of your results. What do you mean that it doesn't look right?

Excellent tutorial, my question is; Does the software accept large formats? that is, images from photogrammetric cameras greater than 100 megapixels

G'day Jakub, fantastic series so far!
Quick question, I'm not sure if you have run into this issue before. Rarely, the filter selection/overide selection tool will not process properly. I will lasso tris, click filter selection or overide selection (AI Classify tool) and a new model will be created but nothing has changed. I cannot seem to replicate this on purpose, clearing the cache doesn't help, it seem saving and rebooting RC is the only solution I have found.
Have you run into this glitch before?

Hi Joseph, I am sorry, but we are not able to reproduce that. I suppose only solution for that will be the application reset.
