This young lady is a Tuomas/Floor/Tatiana in the making. She's a blessing to american metal.
So this is just a track from the third album and all the album concept album with a coherent story line. Adrienne is one of the best singer our there and sings in the way that fit the story. So, lot of tracks without growling too.. But I think her growling is amazing. She has been in some other projects too like masters of ceremony (die just a little is my favorite track) and a metal opera called heart healer.
They’ve been on my list of bands I’m going to check out for a few months now and I have to say I really liked this. Now I need to check more of their stuff.
Could easily be my new gem. Melodic, heavy, listenable, intelligent. Such a think fat sound. Beautiful.
"This God is Dead"(featuring Roy Kahn) has more cleans... "Cabaret of Dreams"(off 1st album) also has cleans.. this one... "The Paradox" and "Drowner of Worlds" are their heavily growled tracks
Love Adrienne her style is amazing. As amazing as her growls are, her cleans are really the epitome of symphonic right now. Check out more, think you'd adore Stay, Serenity or Oceans of Time. Sick reaction man, can't wait to see more. Adrienne writes all of the orchestration and most of Seven Spires also, in case you're curious.
Yeah, this chick is amazing every track is new and different yeah she is Progressive Syhmponic Metal check out Succumb or The Unforgotten Name, the band is crazy good and diverse. The growls are black metal growls different black metal is designed to be more emotional than just intense they can pull out anger, sadness, somber, black metal vocals are super versatile just check out Cradle of Filth - Thirteen Autumns and a Widow and Dimmu Borgir - Gateways; get lyric versions so you can see lyrics as they are being vocalized. Nightwish - Ghost Love Score you got what she is doing her influences. Oh, she shows them off plenty in the album oh my god she is so good.
They just released a new album where they raised the bar in quality. With low to no death growls, Almosttown is worth it :)

They have a wide range of songs since they are versatile. Some tracks have mostly death vocals. Their song "Succumb" has cleans only for example:
