I think as far as the "likeness" to the movie Thanos, it is a very nice piece. I am much more of a fan of the comic Thanos. Much more menacing looking. -Dustin

I collect alot of the Diamond Select statues and for the most part all the ones I've gotten in the past ive loved how detailed they were for the price I have paid! We cant all afford $2500 price statues but the $49.99 look great! I love my Emma Frost, thanos, and Deadpool

I am really glad you reviewed Diamond Select piece. I have three: Bane from Dark knight rises, Daredevil from Netflix show and Old man Logan from comics. They are smaller 1:6 or 1:8 (32cm) and in one piece but very very good. Perhaps you can find this Bane statue it's very very movie accurate.

Im a big fan of the Diamond select statues, small statues with good sculpts for a good price. My favorite of theirs is the marvel premier Venom statue.
Much bigger than I expected..he looks great.

You gotta teach me that snap to take the statue out of the shipping box like that. I hate doing it manually. Lol. It doesn't have the high amount of shading like a Sideshow, Prime 1 or XM piece but it has a nice comic book look to it. Nice size and for 350 that's a pretty good deal. I prefer the armored Thanos look though myself.

Lmao you’re a legend for showing the bloopers man. As for the statue, I forgot in what video you said it was ugly but I think the hot toys Infinity War Thanos looks light years better than this piece, there’s something off about it, in the face.
The statue is solid. The gauntlets are great! Just feel like the bare head doesnt look right. 💎

Hey Gem mint, just wanted to let you know that I love the vids and one in particular would be the thanos on throne. I always hoped to get one but we’re obviously all sold out. But by some miracle I was able to go on sideshow and see it on the website, then it had given me 5 minuets to purchase it and I just think it’s funny how big me and my dad are fans and we’re always hoping to somehow get this piece and we did. Just thought it was a funny story but keep up the good work and stay minty fresh!

Looks pretty good! I think for a budget piece it definitely gets the job done. I've heard a lot of negatives regarding paint apps on Diamond Select pieces, so I'm always hesitant on purchasing one, especially one of their smaller scale statues. For the moment I'm pretty happy with the 1/10 and 1/8 pieces I have from Kotobukiya--good quality and usually fairly consistent for the budget-conscious collector.

I really like this one. Since I can’t really afford the bigger statue I collect the diamond select statues. Definitely did a nice job on this one.

The size and footprint of this piece is perfect, would blend well with any Bowen statues, unfortunately I don't rate movie pieces, they just depict the actor playing a role, I only go for comicbook accuracy as I don't want a bunch of statues of actors dressed up, if you buy this you might as well buy any Josh Brolin figure!

I would say it's affordable, good size for sure. I think they put a lot of the effort in the gauntlets and it shows. Just doesn't have the wow factor for me.
I like it! I often feel like his head looks a bit too small, and this statue is no exception. Can't fault the statue maker though, I think it's accurate
