    If we're going by the ground Complament of the Venator and Accalmators, it would 12,000 from the Venators and 160,000 from the Accalmators totaling at estimated 172,000 if they're carrying a Full Complament.
    However, if we're going the Organization structure, this would bigger than a Sector Army (147,456). Further more, while 4 Corps (36,864) make up a Sector Army, something Luminara, KiKi-Adi-Mundi, and Obi Wan command, Anakin is said to be in command of the 501st Legion (9,216).
    So if we take in account the 3 Corps + the 501st, it could be estimated to be around 119,808 Clones participated in this battle. This is well within the Carrying Capacity of the 10 Accalmators while it can be specalated the Venators went in without a Ground Complament and focus on it's Starfighter Supremacy during this battle.

    Some Lore channels claim the attack was poorly executed. I think they miss how quickly it had to be put together and executed for strategic reasons:
    - This was a enemy droid factory. Taking it out quickly was paramount, for it could literally out-produce any invading force
    In fact, if they didn't have the convenient bridge, the rushed out super tanks would have wiped them out on their own
    - they learned of it rather suddenly and had to quickly deploy what little forces they had available. They didn't have the luxury of months of planing and scouting for a known enemy factory planet. The forces they used were probably earmarked for other operations before they learned of it.
    - they enemy was likely trying to get a force ready to secure the orbit or relief the planet. They could not sit around, sieging it.

    • @republicempire446
      @republicempire446 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Not to mention, shield generator was protecting their factory thus making any orbital bombardment useless. It’s like Hoth situation where Admiral Ozzel came too close to the system to alert the rebels of their presence to set up their shields. Therefore, ground assault is out of necessity despite its costs.

      I still really dont see why they didnt abuse the air superiority more. They could have bombed that damn wall before anakin could come close to it. Maybe even help out obi wan with a few shots in the enemy space. And after the generator was gone, just pulverise anything leaving the factory. Those tanks were strong, but they aint gonna survive an orbital strike.

    • @nitebones1
      @nitebones1 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      late comment i know. but for me what made it super poorly exacuted is that they new of the AA bunker infront of the shield you can see it on their maps before they launch the attack but when they launched the attack they didnt supply any fighter cover only after the transports were getting shot down did they send in the bombers to clear them out. that area should have been heavly shelled before and during the assult expecally with the venitors in atmosphere clearly in range of the AA bunker which again was outside the shield

    • @Ghostfury2004
      @Ghostfury2004 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      No they shouldn't not all worlds in star wars are like corrucunt even in the real world you only have to capture certain strategic points to win tho I agree with the scale sometimes you have to look at the real world since that is where most troop counts and tactics in star wars come from.

    • @Findinavia
      @Findinavia 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@Ghostfury2004 Even on less populated world the numbers should be higher. WW2 saw millions of soldiers on the front lines just on the European front. 6 Venators and some other ships shouldn’t be able to take a home world after little more than a raid. It’s that whole “200,000 units read with a million more well on the way” issue. Lucas for all his world building skill really struggled with scale

    • @Ghostfury2004

      @@Ghostfury2004 thing is you actually don't have to remember that because you're never told that and non-clone troops are almost never shown in popular media - forcing the audience to do homework and analyses to logically explain the misleading sense of scale in your story is bad storytelling and worldbuilding

    Star Wars, future tech, ancient tactics. Lol
    The Clone Wars showed us, that in the event of an invasion of Earth by 4 Venators, Earth would win handily, and the United States would be the subject of war horror stories lol

    • @NareshSinghOctagon
      @NareshSinghOctagon 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's been noted that a lot of planets had the majority of what could be considered their ruling systems to be in one city most of the time,even entire systems were controlled by a singular planet.
      Which is also why,once you overcome hyperlanes that cause simple blockades to work so well plus sensors that prevent easy sneaking around said blockades,it was quite easy to set up insurgencies,because you had an entire planets' worth of space to work with.
      And then you have the planet wide city on Coruscant that multiple invaders have failed to take over,but none of them got to point where they had to take on the quite daunting task of controlling the many,many layers that could easily hide soldiers in ambush.
      As for Earth...the Venators would win,because all they would need to do is fire warning shots at every continent from orbit,and there wouldn't be a single thing we Earhtlings could do about it...save for one method,one mentioned in a documentary that explored how an alien race might invade(I think it was on Discovery),after mentioning that yes,using nukes the normal way wouldn't work in space due to the lack of atmosphere unless you directly hit the vessel with it,but as tests shown with buried nuclear warheads,the damage caused would be much less.
      Instead,use the nuke in a container of water to launch a thick metal disc into space,similar to how the Fireant Scout robot used its' anti-tank copper disc launcher(which blew up the robot)or insurgents in the Middle East would use to attack convoys with buckets of explosives,the kinetic impact being sufficient to really smack the aliens.

    • @alexanderrahl7034
      @alexanderrahl7034 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@NareshSinghOctagon the Venators could orbitally bombard earth, but thats not an invasion. Nor would the governments just roll over. Their superior tech might give some advantage, but they simply don't have the numbers, and the tactics of earth's militaries are beyond what we've seen in Star Wars.
      As for Nukes, they exist in Star Wars, and are extremely rare. Most ships and tech are designed with nukes in mind, much like how armor isn't designed for bullets in mind
      In fact, Star Wars ships and armor are uniquely susceptible to kinetic munitions. Bullets and "mass driver" shots. "Mass driver" being the catch all term for kinetic ship based weapons.
      Sure they could orbitally bombard, but they wouldn't be able to occupy the planet. And would more than likely lose most if not all ground forces they land.

    • @NareshSinghOctagon
      @NareshSinghOctagon 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@alexanderrahl7034 ,I see you have not heard of gunboat diplomacy nor that you've seen Episode I.
      The governments would give into demands,becuase the alternative is having vast amounts of people completely obliterated with no real defence,along with many billions,if not trillions,of tax payer funds spent over many centuries getting smahed.
      Sure,if it did come to that,Earthlings could quite easily start insurgencies and win in the long run,but if the current governments in the world actually had backbones like that,either none of the internatonal issues we have of today would exist,or we would be having this debate through smoke signals whilst wearing our casual hazmat suits.
      They also wouldn't need to destroy much,just the major members of the UN and NATO,the rest will either surrender or choose not to interfere,allowing whoever is using said Venators to take whatever it is they want from the planet,and then contend with the insurgency.
      Hence,gunboat diplomacy,Earthlings will give in,some might even seek to do so willingly for the chance to dominate others.
      And we know such tactics exist in Star Wars,because Episode I shows exactly that,the whole blockade of Naboo was gunboat diplomacy that spiralled beyond the initial scope thanks to Palpatines' influence.
      Now for the tangent about you not knowing how nuclear warheads work nor how armour works in Star Wars.
      The main destructive element of a nuclear warhead is the explosive blast that produces a shockwave,and shockwave need a medium to travel through.
      Aliens in our orbit would have an obvious immunity to this,and our own testing has shown that direct hits using them produce far less damage then what we want out of them.
      But,unless you made an error,there's no such thing as a nuclear proof vessel in Star Wars,any vessel in an atmosphere in the vicinity of a large nuclear warhead will get severely battered,if not outright knocked out,by the shockwave.
      Radiation proof for sure,space is filled with the stuff,after all.
      As for armour itself,the plastoid used by the Clones Troopers and Stormtroopers is very much bullet resistant,needing either specific armour piercing rounds or big enough rounds,and that's just the infantry,let alone all the durasteel vehicles and the four massive flying battlecarriers with shield projectors and tractor beams.
      And that's assuming whoever is attacking isn't using beskar.
      Meanwhile,the attacker has plasma flinging blasters and massive turbolasers that literally melt through anything,might not cause death through blood loss but glassing of the chest is not survivable.
      Yes,mass drivers would work great...but no,mass driver is NOT a catch all term for all kinetic weapons,a mass driver is very specifically a kinetic weapon that launches a very heavy,dense,and hard projectile at insanely high velocities in order to smash through everything and its' mother in law that dares stand in its' path.
      Typical depictions involve a large launching charge combined with an electromagnetic accelerator barrel.
      Most kinetic weapons of today lack said barrel,and therefore lack the velocities needed.
      In short,the four Venators either wouldn't even need to attack to get what they want or would deal so much damage that they can then get what they want with ease,and would depend entirely on how they decide to move forward.
      Which would be as easy as just having the vessels in orbit for the vast majority of time and picking off whoever dares to show themselves when they go do their planetside business.
