- Just a day with Bowie the Ragdoll cat. From early morning till late in the evening. Footage with behavior of a typical Ragdoll cat. Maybe it's the personality of a Ragdoll cat but Bowie regularly cry for attention and sometimes does things that are not allowed, like jumping on the side table. I've been told: "Brief moments of genuine attention make sure your cat learns to entertain themselves better and ask less for negative attention." I give my Ragdoll cat a lot of attention, because I like to be busy with Bowie. I don't care if it's right or wrong, we are a team, there is love and that's what it's all about. This video gives an impression of my happy life with Bowie the Ragdoll cat. 16 hours of the day in a 7 minutes video.

Oh how I miss my pure bred Rag Doll!!
His name was Benji and he was just like this cst!!
One day I found 2 kittens, 6 days old. Their mom belonged to a neighbor. We found the mom later, dead on the road.
I took the 2 infants at the age of 6 days!!
I got Kitten Milk Replacement, goats milk, bottles, & baby shampoo.
I called the vet. He knew I had a male cat. He said to keep the babies away from hom, until they were 3 weeks old, or he would kill them.
They actually went to work with me until they could eat on their own.
I put them in the spare bathroom in a box with towels.
I went out to get the mail one day and returned home to find the bathroom door opened!!
I raced to the open door and could hear the one kitten crying!!
I walked in and not only was Benji in the tub, but he got both of them out of the box and was curled up with them!! They were then 8 days old!!
He was busy giving them a new hairdo and looked up at me and meowed!
That was his code for, "THIS is what you were hiding in the box from me??? I love them!!"
After that Benji supervised all feedings & he took up the cleaning of them!!
During the time until they were eating on their own, he sat next to me comforting the one that didn't get to go first for the bottle. He would take the one waiting and bring it to me and take the full baby and clean it like a mom cat would.
They first time I took the 2 babies to work, Benji was at the door waiting on me!!
He meowed up a storm--mad because "his babies" had been gone for hours & didn't I know they needed feeding!!???
Sadly, Benji died at a young age of cancer of the liver.
Isabella & Samantha, the 2 babies always ran to Benji if there was a thunder storm!! He would tuck them into his long hair!!
I miss him every day!!

What a wonderful "mom" he was to those babies! In the wild, male 'big cats' will sometimes kill the mothers babies so she will go into heat sooner and he can 'have his way with her.' The moms fight back with the big cats to defend their babies, but sometimes they get them anyway. This is usually seen with lions. I guess your Vet assumed your male cat was not neutered, and there was an unspayed female around. If there is no female he wants to get in heat, a male cat will not have any reason to kill babies. And I don't think it happens that often with the little cats. So glad he took over 'mom duties.' I'm not surprised. I love male cats!

Adorable!!!! I have 2 seal bicolor rag dolls. They are amazing!!! Bowie is so sweet and has typical laid back personality of rag doll. What a precious boy!!! Not to mention how stunning he is and also how healthy he looks.

So gorgeous. Most beautiful creatures on earth. I miss my rag doll cat every day. He had the most beautiful personality. We slept 14 years together. Sometimes he comes to my dreams, I tell him you are not dead and I wake up crying. Uh it still hurts so bad.
You know that one day you will have to miss your sweetheart, which is very difficult because Ragdolls are quite affectionate. Bowie, Bella and I sending you love.
You are so blessed to have Bowie! His antics remind me of my Tripp, a blue lynx ragdoll who passed away 3 years ago. Such a loving, cuddly, playful boy! The next 20 or so years of your life will be full of joy. :)

I have two ragdolls that I like to call “used’ cats. They are retired breeders that were 4 and 3 when I got them. Not only were they sold at a good price but they were from champion blood lines. I’ve always adopted or rescued my cats but I always wanted a ragdoll and that’s how I justified getting them. They are really different than the many other cats I have had and are exquisitely beautiful. They get along with my rescues and are absolutely in love with each other even though they didn’t meet until I got them. They are great with kids and are afraid of nothing. I’m so happy to have them.

My Ragdoll craves company & is a HUGE fuss pot. He just wants to be wherever I am. I can't even go to the toilet without him following me & meowing on the other side of the door lol High maintenance! It's a little bit much sometimes but I wouldn't be without him. & like yours he loves playing with things like screwed up paper bags & he's very talkative.

My Puss-Puss was a beautiful, magnificent tortoiseshell. She was 14 years old when she passed of Hyperthyroidism that she had battled for 4 1/2 years. She was my everything, my best friend.

We lost our Ragdoll of 19 years. Amazing cat....never killed any small creatures. Had rabbit, lizard, snake and bird friends. He was outdoor and indoor cat. Never went too far away. Always waited for me in the driveway to return from work. Then he would lead me into the house. I miss him so much...

Ginger Rose ! I highly recommend a ragdoll! I now have a 2 year old and a 4 month old. They are both females. They are so amazing. They follow me everywhere. They love each other so much-Bella Rose even lets Sophie Rose “nurse”! I know an amazing ethical breeder here in Washington State.

He is such a talker. My sweet orange tabby was a huge talker too... I wish I had made a video about a day with her. Even thought it seems very similar to Bowie's day : eat, play, meow, hang out, lay on the floor, walk around aimlessly, sleep :)
