That’s a good point. You’d end up hungry so as not to got caught.
These ration pack videos are awesome, I'm halfway through, I find them quite therapeutic for some reason, fantastic idea and enjoyable watch. Those cashews looked good, cheers.
Very cool sir !!!! All items looked good, but for someone who is not partial to sweets, A maple syrup overload, LOL. That is A lot of sugar, although, does translate to energy however. Keep up the great work, Peace, John, Magnum !!!!!

They need to lose the jalapeño cashews and that blue toilet bowl cleaner drink. When I was in during the late 80's through mid-nineties MRE's rocked!!! They used to include cocoa powder in the MRE. Mix that with some water & sugar and viola you had Ranger pudding. Slap it on some crackers with some peanut butter and all was good. They also used to include tabasco sauce & a good dessert like the chocolate chip cake. My fave was the spaghetti and sauce. Pour in hot sauce, squeeze in the cheese, add some crumble up crackers and you were gettin' your grub on. During desert storm we'd just put the meal packet on the 140+ degree sand to heat it!!!!

In case you don't know the trick: Add some of the salt to the FRH. That will boost the reaction.

Kent Survival They go off with time besides they are a massed produced item so you will get the occasional dog. Looking at other reviews the American FRH is way behind everyone else in terms of actual BTU's generated.
good point, though these were nearly brand new. The Chinese ones are the best I have used without a doubt, they melted the insulated envelope they come with haha

I'm in two minds about this menu. I did really like it but then I think I ate too many of them. Been a while though, time for another chance

Kent Survival yeah the funniest thing about today the reaction of a mild respectable middle aged woman on seeing a huge hairy man in camo emerging from the bushes with big stick, bag, tent and cookset hanging off. Grave concern turned to relief as a began to talk to her about having spotted red squirrels and a buzzard. She realised I wasn't some dangerous lunatic ha!
Hope you have a good trip for this next one. I sure had a good one this weekend. Yeah big sugar kick in that but I'm greatly reducing sugar intake at present. Not fun as I was used to abusing sugar, energy drinks and coffee. Still got my coffee though!
Haha, I think thats a look we have all got at some point, I nearly did some face camp and 'Rambo' shots for the intro of the Bug Out Bag video as a bit of a laugh haha, maybe on the next update.

The moist towlette is a joke! In theory, the people eating this stuff will be in the field or worse wartime, and they supply a towel the size of a playing card! Lol

Not one of my favorites at all. The only ones I've ever had were from 2012 and the sausage patty doesn't even have anywhere near the consistency of actual meat of any kind, especially not pork. The flavor is okay, but nothing I had order in a restaurant. Overall, this MRE just didn't have enough going for it to win my favor. Mine was before the jalapeno cashews and I'm pretty sure it just had one of their old raisin and nut mixes.

Brother as a child I grew up eating C rats ( Rations ) in Panama FT Colby my father was a Command Sergeant Major. US Army 3/7 Green Beret. As a young man 1997 and forward to 2005I found my self in a desert with other brothers of mine from the 82nd AirBorn 11 Bravo and we had to eat modern MRE’s. So essentially I always had very bad food. Your MRE I probably would have stolen from you on a daily basis. F the mission and grid. My op would have been find the UK soldiers and UN and capture the MRE. Good stuff brother love the videos.
haha, I hear that on the other MRE channels a lot that they prefer the UK rations, I'm rather liking the US MRE's that I've tried so far, alas, only as a civvy. Thanks for watching again buddy!
