Fuel overflow was the main problem in this bike,and i had connection with this bike and it was almost 10 -15 years back when it belonged to Mr godwin antony and afzal and they had a suzuki gsx450s parallel twin same colour combo and mr godwin had a kawasaki ninja 400 cc which was also featured in the movie Robinhood.now i really miss that time and age when i spend most if the time with them helping afzal bro repair this guy and take test ride and then fail push it to his garage and its fuel was overflowing ever since dont know what happend any way FZR is a fentastic motorcycle and the name was written in golden letters in YAMAHA’s history and also the motorcycling industry.iam feeling great that you took it and you are going to restore it , and time and energy you are going to spend on this motorcycle will be worth it.
